The Shepherds Hut

Spend the night in an authentic sheepherders wagon. Dine among the stars. Sit by the cozy wood burner. Use your own private out-house complete with solar powered water / shower and an environmentally friendly composting toilet. All situated on 10 beautiful pine and rock covered grounds of Dakota Dream B & B and Horse Hotel. Meet Mongo the Brahma bull, Dixie and Daisy the miniature goats, and Buddy our resident horse. You may be visited by deer, turkey, rabbits, and other wild inhabitants.

If you like camping but want to leave the gear at home, this is your place. Our unique little shepherd's hut offers a truly one-of-a-kind experience for two. During your stay you can read your favorite book or sit back and listen to the sounds of nature. At the sheep camp there is no internet or power, but don't let that discourage you. We provide amazing scenery, beautiful night skies, lighting, a gas grill, cooking supplies and your own private outdoor bathroom with a hot shower and toilet.

The Nook

Experience this secluded escape where you can enjoy nature in a unique way under a canopy of trees and sleeping in a cozy Nook. Listen to the chorus of cicadas as the sun sets, cook yummy meals on the griddle & grill, & warm yourself around a comforting campfire. Sip a hot cup of coffee in the morning while listening to the birds chirping all around you. Camping—but with everything you need provided, for very little planning on your part. Reconnect with yourself deeply, surrounded by nature.

Country Style Get-A-Way

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. What makes this place special is that the mobile home is located on 3 1/2 acres of land. The space includes a living room with a futon bed, 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms with closet space and laundry room with washer and dryer. Several other amenities included. The location is nine miles outside of historical Selma, AL and 32 miles away from Prattville, AL. It's the perfect spot to relax and get-a-way. Ideal place for traveling contract workers.

Cozy Shepherd’s Hut w. Hot Tub

Our Shepherd’s Hut/Vardo “Bohemian Betty” is a fun getaway for a single traveler, couples, or two friends. Nestled among nature, you’ll find a covered space with an outdoor cooking space. There is also a hot water outdoor shower (late April to late October), a hot tub that gets freshly filled for each guest, and a restroom with sink. The site is fully solar powered and your space is air conditioned, has a mini fridge, and comes with coffee and tea supplies, and an outdoor kitchen with sink.

Cozy Sheep Wagon in Hoback Village, a Stargazer Cabin Community in true Dark Sky Territory. Off HWY 89, 40 min south of Jackson. Features a custom bed (best for smaller stature), mountain views, river access, and unbeatable stargazing. A private tranquil getaway in 26 wooded acres and a gorgeous park-like setting. Experience a true Conestoga wagon with a fantastic view of the swimmable stocked pond for fishing. Peddle boat & John boat are available for use. Stroll through the wooded trails or hang out on the grassy lawn for picnics and games. Enjoy the Winery down the street and the shops in Downtown Greenville. A perfect mixture of the rustic Old West, nature and luxury. 1 queen & twin bunk beds.

Orchard Loft

Get away from it all under the stars. This airy place overlooking an orchard sits on the highest point in the county with breathtaking views. Not for the faint of heart. The bed is a recliner and the half bath is, well… No electricity, though a small camping stove could be arranged. Right in the middle of nature. Water hydrant within 100 yards. Explore the 20 acres and you may find amazing fossilized tracks, hopefully from a creature long dead.

Liz's Little Gypsy Caravan W/ Hot tub , Round 2

This is a very small but cozy and comfortable gypsy caravan that I built myself. The location is beautiful, nestled at the southern side of the Arkansas River Valley , the area is quiet and scenic, with amazing views. Although the caravan is small , we have 2 + creek side acres with hammocks and a hot tub. Also, we have begun building another, larger caravan and a lavish bath house adjoining the hot tub area due to be completed spring of 2025.
