This is the second time that we have stayed with Donnie. The first time was in one of the cabooses. This time we stayed in The Depot. Both of these places were as described and pictured! I had good enough phone service that we did not miss having WiFi and there was cable for television. I had two children with me, an eight year old and a twelve year old, and they were both fine there! And we could look out the front door and see Buffalo Mountain. Because of Hurricane Helene damage, we did not get to go there but it was not for lack of trying! Sunday morning before we left, I got to see a deer in the pasture behind the depot! And some beautiful sunrises!

We wanted to do something unique & different for our anniversary & this did NOT disappoint. From the “main” road you can see the 3 red cabooses up on the hill & our hearts smiled. They recently had storms & we could see where the flood waters deteriorated the sides of the driveway but it was still wide enough for us to pass another small vehicle if needed. Office Check in was a breeze and took less than five mins before we were standing in our getaway train(caboose) which is on a real track! We were the only ones staying this weekend but if others were present, there was plenty of room. Our furbabies throughly enjoyed having a large field in front of the cabooses to run in. The views from the swings were breathtaking especially during the sunsets. Once Inside, we enjoyed the comforts of home (except for a stove). The hotness of the water & the relaxing hot tub added to our experience. Some things were dated but that is to come with the territory. We hope to visit again in the fall.

Toot Toot! We were all aboard with this amazing stay!! What a fun little dream come true to spend a night in an actual caboose! The interior was stunning with all its woodwork and having coffee in the cupola was just wonderful. The attention to details such as the old photos and plaques just made it that much more of a joyful stay as you learn the history associated with the car. The grounds are also part of the experience as you walk along the stream that runs through the yard with lots to see. Even just sitting outside your car the air is filled with nostalgia and the sound of the river that runs along side the property. Listen for the frog’s!! Sadly the restaurant was closed during our stay but worked out to be a happy happenstance as we discovered one of the most amazing burger shops we have ever been to, Yaks on I-5. Be sure to try the ribs too!! If you love trains, spend a night!! We truly recommend it!! We loved it! All aboard!!

We really enjoyed our stay in the Mo-Pac caboose on your beautiful and peaceful ranch. It was such a unique experience—quiet, relaxing, and a great way to disconnect. We had a great time and would definitely recommend the stay for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with a unique twist! Thank you for being a great host.

We had an amazing time here. We stayed with our 3 year old son and he had a great time playing with the toys provided and exploring the property. Staying in the caboose was a unique experience and one we would love to do again. Pat was very responsive to any of our questions and available for anything we needed during our stay. We would love to come back and stay someday.

Beautiful location, place as described. Jacuzzi was great. Lots of hot water. Good water pressure, good shower. Bed was comfortable. Donnie was helpful and responsive.

Clean! Smelled great too. Geat distance (within 10min) to hiking (Ash Cave) in one direction and then a pizzeria with all kinds of drinks and snacks in the other. On a fairly traveled road in front, but also a great small space to explore right behind and firepit. Well kept! It was great for our young family. Very fun.

Traditional lantern lighting accented its charm, standing proudly against the landscape. Inside, the thoughtful design overwhelmed us: a beautiful scent, a lofted retreat, exquisite bathroom, outdoor and indoor showers, digital art feature, and luxurious king-sized bed. Every label, every touch from the homemade bread to the curated local guide spoke volumes of the heart behind this place. Though 40 minutes from our family, it was beyond worth it. A stay here is not just lodging—it’s an Unforgettable memory!

Really neat place to stay. The interior was really well done and unique in its' styling. So many different lighting choices to choose from it was actually quite impressive.

This little place went way above our expectations! We had never stayed in a place quite like this, and we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. It’s easy to get to, private, so cozy and near everything! And there is a deck that is perfect as it overlooks the woods and is ideal for an evening glass of wine. We went down to see our daughter ride at the Tryon Equestrian Center for the IHSA Nationals (humble brag) and it is only five minutes away. Perfect! Could not ask for a better location. The place was clean, instructions were clear and we just had a great time! Great memories, and we can’t wait to tell our friends about it! Thank you!

Bryan's place isn't just a "place," it's an experience, and an amazing one! The careful and meticulous rehabilitation of a piece of railroad history into one of the coziest and easily the most memorable Airbnbs we have ever stayed at was apparent in every detail. The proximity to Marietta is perfect, being an easy, short drive away, with Bryan's property being very private and peaceful. For anyone driving an EV, there is a 220v NEMA 14 plug on-site that worked perfectly with the standard GM dual-level charger. Truly an amazing time Bryan, thank you so much, and we'll have to back soon to try out the blue caboose!

Fantastic place! This home is in a quiet neighborhood with a family friendly feel. The home is an old train car. It’s very unique and absolutely adorable!!! Love the decor and the porch swing. Enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again when we visit again 🚂

It was a great one night stay for our party of 4 adults and 3 kids. We all had so much fun staying in a train car and the kids loved it which inspired a fun game of hide and seek. It was nicely restored and provided enough beds. The kitchen was clean and well stocked but it would be hard pressed to cook in it for more than 2-3 people. We went out for dinner which made it much easier and with no dishes to clean up. It's a wonderful place to stay if you're a train buff or even if you're not, it's a once in a lifetime experience.

Really unique stay. It was so fun to imagine what it might have been like when it was still a functioning caboose. Really thoughtful decor and amenities. We had a great time. If I could share anything that might be helpful it would be the privacy is a little unique. I don’t think the pictures quite captured how close you are in location to the shared property, neighbors and highway. By no means did it impact our stay which is why the rating is absolutely five stars, I was just a little surprised at the difference. Absolutely would love to stay here again in the future. It’s a must-do for sure if you haven’t.

This place was a true gem! The location was unbeatable, and staying beside the train was a true experience! The bed was incredibly comfortable. Jarret was friendly, kind and responsive. Would absolutely stay here again!

This was such an amazing experience. The entire staff and locals were so nice and welcoming. The wine, beer and food of Warner Vintards and Warner Brew Haus was wonderful. The food was so good, that's the only place we ate. Now that we know about the summer concert series we can't wait to comeback next summer a little later in the year to check it out and do blueberry/strawberry picking.

AWESOME PLACE TO GO AND TRAVEL TO. the town has lots of sight seeing and stores to go to. the Train was AMAZINGGGG a true dream come true for my childhood bucketlist!!!

These train cars have so much history and charm. Karla has really put so much thought and intent into the decor, the information and time period, and cozy comfort. Little touches like snacks, tea, coffee creamer, etc. beautiful plush towels and comfy beds and furniture. It felt so private and luxurious. The decks and surroundings are lovely and there really isn’t much around at all so it is so peaceful and quiet. I loved the guestbook too and felt so comfortable. Karla was also responsive and helpful, though I didn’t need much help at all because everything was so well thought out. The perfect get away for peace and solitude amid a cozy converted train car and caboose!

Our stay in the yellow caboose at the Train Wreck Inn is one my son nor I will ever forget! We went to stay there for his 5th birthday and he was so excited! We are already looking forward to going back and staying in the blue train car next time! The place was super peaceful and the small town was very neat and felt very safe! The courtyard area was very nice and the cornhole set made it so much fun with something to do out there and the hammock was nice to relax in too! We requested the TV for our weekend there but we did not even use it! So many great things to say about this place and can't wait to go back!

Jon personally greeted us upon arrival, he and his wife took the time to make our anniversary trip very special with a custom cake and signage out front. Came with personalized coffee mugs, and a bandanna for our dog! The location is great and the caboose is awesome! We personally loved how quiet it was and the ambience. Jon and his wife also made time to come chat with us and meet our dogs and we got to know one another a little bit which made the experience that much better. We love that this location is pet friendly traveling with our dogs it’s hard to find locations we can stay and this made our day that our dogs could also come stay with us! If you are looking for a great location within 20 mins of town and many local amenities with a very friendly host and horses this is the spot to visit. Thank you guys so much for making our anniversary trip so special! We will be back again and can’t wait to stay for a bit longer!
