Our cosy, dog friendly self catering annexe sleeps 2 with everything you need for a short rural stay. The one room, with ensuite shower room, has a double bed, kitchenette with cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, table, seating area with TV, Netflix, Alexa and free wifi. The annexe is nestled between our house and another holiday let at start of the infamous 'Hell Lane' where Julia Bradbury filmed her memorable walk to Symondsbury along the holloways in her 'Walks with a View' programme.

The Annex is bright, comfortable and cosy with a wood burner for winter. The public footpath crossing our garden next to the river Char links with many others - great for dog walkers. We are close to Charmouth beach and Lyme Regis – renowned for their fossil treasures. Love swimming? our freshwater pool is generally heated to a very cosy 29 - 30 degrees (warm bath temperature) and can be used from April to October With advance notice, the twin beds can be connected to form a king size bed

The Nest is our charming GROUND FLOOR STUDIO apartment in a converted barn from the 1800’s. Set in “Broadchurch country” in the village of Symondsbury, it is a short drive to Bridport, West Bay & several beautiful beaches along Dorset's Jurassic coast. With a 16th Century, Michelin star pub 500 yards away (open Thu-Sun) it sits at the foot of the famous Colmers Hill. The area is well known for walking. The Garden Studio is situated at the top of our garden and nestles on the side of Hardown Hill (National Trust). It boasts spectacular views over the Marshwood Vale. Great for countryside walks around the vale and along the Jurassic Coast. Good restaurants and places of interest at nearby historic towns Bridport and Lyme Regis. Lovely beaches close by at West Bay, Seatown, Eype, Charmouth and Lyme Regis. We are approx. 2 miles from Charmouth. The Garden Studio welcomes dogs.

It is located in the charming Conservation Village of Walditch, within walking distance of Bridport. The Cottage itself has 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms with an open-plan living space and is set away from the main house in its own private grounds, with 1,200sqm (0.3acres) of orchard garden, as well as an outside patio with table and chairs, with country views.
