Vakantiewoningen aan het strand in North Sumatra

Taha’s was a peaceful place to stay in the Telos. Room was as described in Airbnb. Close to local left called Churches. Easy walk to break each day. Food was great and varied, often hot so ask kitchen if you need less spice. Desi prepared our meals each day. A kind and lovely young woman who was a highlight of our stay. We miss you Desi! We only surfed local left. You will need to organise with Taha for trips to other breaks and have some knowledge of surf conditions for other breaks too. No surf guide as such. Snorkelling nice out front and sandy beach. Take booties for walk out to surf, path slippery when wet. Taha’s is a great place if you want to enjoy simple island life in a small village, opportunity to go to church and visit to Telos town. Maybe not so suitable if you want to check other breaks out each day as boat trips soon add up in cost. Had a few days without other surfers but other days busy with surf boats. Foi muito bom os 7 dias que passei com a Família Kwalitas. Buscava uma experiência local, e foi exatamente oque recebi, acomodação limpa, e aconchegante, 100 metros da melhor onda de Nias, a comida da Mama foi a melhor que comi durante toda temporada na Indonésia, e o pai sempre prestativo, no primeiro dia me levou pra conhecer o pico de surf, e o melhor lugar por onde acessar, foi comprar água pra mim, e até me emprestou sua moto 2 vezes que precisei. Já estou com saudades dessa família que me recebeu como se eu fosse um filho! Sempre com sorriso no rosto, e dispostos a ajudar. Ano que vem, estarei de volta! 🫶🏽

We kwamen laat aan en sliepen er 1 nacht om vervolgens de jungle tracking te doen die Togu voor ons heeft geregeld. We hadden een superleuke gids Leo die ook nog eens heel goed engels kan. Zijn collega en vriend Ecco was ook mee en was super behulpzaam en oplettend. We voelden ons heel veilig en we hebben super veel dieren kunnen zien in de jungle én op het kamp. ‘S avonds deden we spelletjes en we hebben heerlijk gegeten ook nog! Dikke aanrader :):)

Excellent séjour dans un super logement Très bien accueilli par Taunoi, sont fils Rendi m’a permis de découvrir tous les spots de surf avec les conditions adaptées Je vous conseille de profiter de la nourriture du Airbnb (meilleur qu’au restaurant 😄) La literie est excellente

My only regret about staying here was not staying longer. Taha makes you feel like part of the family, he makes everything easy and ready to help out whenever he can. The surf is excellent and the best break in the Telos group is a 5 minute walk away, otherwise easy for Taha to arrange boats. The food is excellent and in good quantities, the accommodation is basic but very comfortable (a hot shower in the tropics is not necessary). I can't wait to come back

Mit dieser Unterkunft begann unsere Rundreise und was sollen wir sagen: Für unsere Bedürfnisse war es perfekt! Die Freundlichkeit der Menschen, die Liebe der Guides zur Natur und zu den zahlreichen Tieren, das Essen, die Flexibilität neben dem normalen Alltag der Angestellten - es war einfach perfekt. Unser Aufenthalt und die Tour durch den Dschungel haben uns sehr geerdet.

There are no other words that can describe how peaceful and relax it is during my stay here, it is so nice to talk for a while with Ibu Ratnauli before I check out Thanks Ibu Ratnauli & Tom (I’m so sorry I left pretty much plastic trash in a trash bag, next time I will use eco-friendly ones)

Our stay at Oseda’s was flawless. To begin with his customer service. David, his wife and the whole crew are very attentive and ready to help however. The room is also amazing - ours was in front of the ocean, minutes away from the best surfing spot. Thank you for the hospitality!

Afulu is an absolute hidden gem 💎! Afulu villas are perfectly positioned, right on the beach and in front of the paddle out channel for the main point break left. The wave itself is challenging in all the right ways! Hollow, powerful and fast. For those wanting a laid back surf experience or learning, there is a number of great peaks straight in front. The accomodation is better than the pictures, so well laid out and has everything you need. The pool area is fantastic and everything is super private. Can’t wait to come back :)!!

In my opinion the best value for money place to stay on sorake beach. If you’re a surfer who wants access to a great wave that is consistent, you got to stay here. The entire Oseda team is great and helpful

We had the most amazing stay. The family are so kind and helped us book a boat to telo island and anything else we needed. The bungalows are even nicer than the pictures and the linen is so fresh and clean, you’ll be sure to have an extremely comfortable nights sleep. The location is amazing, you can watch the surf from the sun loungers and enjoy dinner while watching the sunset. We ended up staying here twice during our time in nias as we loved it so much. Highly recommend, quality and luxurious stay.

Nos alojamos 2 adultos y 3 hijos jovenes por 3 semanas y debo agradecer de todo corazón a mama Silvi que nos hayamos sentido tranquilos, seguros, integrados, cuidados y respetados como en ningún otro lugar en el que hayamos estado. Una mujer trabajadora, honrada, justa, luchadora por su comunidad. Respetada de manera excepcional por todo aquel que la conoce. Una persona que nos ha dejado una profunda huella y un ejemplo para nuestros hijos y para nosotros. En Ina Silvi Cottage no hay nada y nada más hace falta. El lujo es el lugar, la autenticidad de formar parte de la comunidad local, la calidad humana de los pobladores de este paraíso que ella guarda, serena, tan impecablemente. El mundo necesita muchas más mama Silvi.

It was just the absolute perfect place to stay in Nias. Stunning views, well thought out apartment, a luxury here for sure. I cannot wait to come back and stay here again! Stephen was extremely kind, helpful and communicative as well! It was a dream apartment with direct views of the point and I loved every second being here. Love the bed, the couch and how comfortable the apartment was! Thank you 🙏🏻
