We had a great stay at The Fern with our two dogs. The secure garden with hot tub was very private and the fields on the site were perfect for our dogs to run around. We loved the puzzle box! Having an EV charger on site was a great feature too, that we made good use of. The space downstairs was very generous and well equipped. The bed upstairs was huge and the view from the window across the site was fantastic, especially at sunrise. Nigel was very friendly and responsive, providing lots of local info for things to do. Thank you for a fab stay!

What a lovely few days at Rose Cottage with our family. Rodalyn was the perfect host, friendly, helpful and accommodating. On arrival we were welcomed with a thoughtful hamper of treats which the kids loved, the private “garden” is HUGE & was great for the children and our dog to explore, we loved the hot tub, outdoor speakers & lights. The full bookshelf and games in the Cottage were great to keep the kids entertained in the evening too. Also, thanks Rodalyn for the walk recommendation which we all enjoyed. Hope to be back again soon.

We had a wonderful stay - Ben was extremely helpful with any questions we had. The cottage was lovely and we were lucky enough to see deer grazing by the fence in the evening. The hot tub was really toasty and perfect for evening relaxing. Perfectly out of the way and the directions were easy to follow as long as you read them carefully!

Lovely little cottage, very clean and private, lots of space and all the amenities you would need. Not too many places to walk to from the cottage, but if you have a car it’s no problem. The tap and run pub is a great pub everyone should check out that is on the doorstep. Also Hanwell vineyard down the road for an enjoyable informative wine tasting experience.

We had a fantastic short break in Peak District and Jack's cottage was the perfect place to stay. Very quiet, peaceful spot in the lovely village of Brassington, but central if you're looking to visit Matlock, Bakewell and Buxton. The cottage was very clean, well maintained and had everything you need - including robes for when you get out of the hot tub! We didn't find parking an issue at all, with plenty of street parking just up the hill towards the Miners Arms pub. Speaking of pubs, the Miners Arms (which is the closest pub to the cottage) appeared to have closed down, but we'd highly recommend The Old Gate Inn which is a little further (3-less than 5 min walk), but has large garden, good ales and great food. Natalie and her husband are friendly, quick to respond to any queries and offered advice on local walks and places to go. Would love to stay at Jack's cottage again, perhaps in the winter with the log burner going!

Just had a fantastic short break in this Parwich cottage. Stunning gardens and surroundings. The cottage has everything you need and more. We parked the car and from the cottage cycled the High Peak and Tissington Trails. Warm and cosy accommodation set in a quiet village with a great pub 2 minutes away. Caroline is a genuine host with your comfort and convenience always a priority. The photographs don’t do this cottage justice. It really is a beautiful place. What can be better after a good walk or cycle than visit the pub then end the evening looking at the stars from the hot tub in the garden ? We will certainly be back, the sooner the better. Many thanks Caroline. We had a super time.

Me and my partner stayed here for 3 nights but it honestly felt like we were here over a week because there is just so much to do nearby! Beautiful cottage in a very peaceful location with a hot tub which is perfect for a relaxing afternoon after exploring the local area. There is a TV in the main bedroom perfect for having a cosy movie night in, and the wood burner in the library/sitting room creates a relaxing atmosphere for a cute board game night. Any issues that arose, the host resolved very quickly and was incredibly helpful! We will definitely be back again, as it’s one of the best holidays we’ve had in a long time.

I had a fantastic stay at Wendy's place. it is set in a stunning location surrounded by open space and views of the hills from the garden. its has a well equipped kitchen and comfortable living room with a beautiful log burner. This house is great for a trip to the peak district. I would very much recommend this property!

This lovely cottage is perfect for a weekend with friends. We sit in the kitchen for hours and just talk! Comfy living room and bedrooms. Love the big rainfall shower. Nice little garden, but was a bit cold to sit outside for long.

Honestly one of the most beautiful places we have stayed, we had everything we needed and more and the personalised touches were just lovely! So cosy, clean and we felt so at home - we are already planning a trip back! 🩷

This was our second visit to this lovely cosy cottage which is comfortable and well equipped. This time the weather allowed us to enjoy the lovely outdoor space which was a sun trap. The cottage is walking distance to the village centre amenities and both the Devonshire arms and Charles Cotton Pubs. We returned to enjoy the cycling in the area and it is very close to both the Tissington trail and the start of the Manifoild trail at Hulme End. The garage was a big plus to store our E-bikes and cycle carrier safely and securely.

Beautiful cottage, great location for exploring the Peak District with kids as so many interesting short walks in close proximity (Monsal head, Robin Hoods stride, Solomon’s Temple, Carsington waters, Alport to Youlgreaves all fab). Beautifully clean linen on the beds and great understands drawers for shoes. Garden perfect for an Easter egg hunt! We had 3 cars and road side parking no issue at all.

We had a lovely stay. We were out hiking most of the day but it was lovely coming back to a clean and bright space to chill in the evenings. The rooms were a great size too. We also took a 15min walk to the local pub for some nice food where the service was quick and friendly. Would definitely stay again as a quieter base for hiking in the Peak District.

Louise’s cottage was lovely. I had a wonderful two day break there with my dog and it was very comfortable and homely. Well equipped and located centrally. Louise was very helpful.

Had a lovely time in Mountsorrel. Lucie’s cottage is perfect. There are a number of excellent restaurants and cafes locally and great walks by the canal. Communication was great from start to finish and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

We had an absolutely brilliant peaceful and relaxing weekend, and will definitely return! Everything about it was perfect, the location, surroundings, cottage and hosts. Amazing walks and pubs nearby and plenty to do, but also great to just as relax by staying in and enjoying the sunshine in the garden. Thank you Rachael for a fantastic experience!

We are repeat visitors to the cottage after staying last year when visiting Alton Towers. We loved the peaceful space so much we knew that we would be returning on our next trip and any more to come! A perfect little cosy cottage in a lovely little town, we absolutely recommend!

John could not have been more interesting, interested, helpful and kind. The cottage is one-up (plus a shower room) and one-down, extremely well designed for two people and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need including detailed items like a vegetable peeler! Parking off the road is do-able (and John is pleased to help), but not for the faint-hearted with a medium or larger sized car! We would not hesitate to stay again if visiting this beautiful part of Derbyshire.

Had a wonderful stay at Rose Cottage with my friend and my 2 Labradors. The cottage was just perfect, spotless, cozy and situated in the most beautiful location. John greeted us with a freshly baked loaf of bread and was on hand for any help we needed- including plasters for our blisters from all the beautiful walks! Will definitely return!

Had a brilliant Easter Weekend at Rods cottage! We were able to park our car and get in and out of Winster easily as needed. Loved the Miners & Bowling Green pubs for meals and drinks, an easy walk to and from the cottage. Enjoyed the gorgeous garden when the sun cleared up, beautiful outlook. The cottage itself was exactly the English Countryside Experience us Aussies were after, so beautiful, well kept, and well decorated. Would definitely come back to Winster!!!! The only thing I'd say is remember to duck if you're over 5'11 as we knocked heads a couple of times in the doorways downstairs!

Fabulous stay in a fabulous cottage! Hosts were 10/10 - flexible, communicative, responsive and friendly! They really went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend a stay!

To start, very easy to find and easy to get into, Richard's instructions are clear and precise. Once inside it looked just like the photos,instructions on how to connect to Internet and use facilities are straightforward. Very comfortable beds, the shower wasn't as powerful as I'd like but i can forgive that.The cottage is well located for visiting local attractions and although next to a pub is very peaceful. Will definitely look to stay here again
