Lovely place to stay! We were just passing through for a night, but we really wished we had time to stop and explore, the outdoor spaces looked amazing and a great place to spend a weekend.

Sophie is a great host, friendly and welcoming, and very responsive to any queries. The information book she provided in the flat was very helpful. It was a real pleasure to stay here. The flat was clean and comfortable with everything we needed, in a beautiful quiet setting. The patio was a lovely sun trap in the evenings for a drink with stunning views! The local village shop was well stocked with both essentials and a deli counter, and the butcher had a lovely bakery as well as a selection of homemade meals and the best steak we’ve ever had! We ate out one night at the local pub and had a really good meal. There also seems to be a really good bus service that runs regularly through the day if you needed it, but from here you are within easy reach of places to visit like Robin Hood’s bay, Whitby, the coast and the beautiful North York moors. We can highly recommend staying here and would definitely return.

Well what can I say... Pauline and Graham were wonderful host from the day we got there till the day we left, the annex was perfect with all the extra Pauline leaves (bread, eggs, milk, jam, flowers ect.. ) the list goes on and on. Now too the woodland which Graham has got it to a T with its little walkways and seating here and there and it's was sooo peaceful, our dogs Teddy and Bertie (Shih Tzu) loved it and so did we. I must say a lot of B&B call themselves 5 STAR but this is definitely 5*, thankyou it was just what the doctor ordered ( well if he remembers to order it 😂). See you soon Angela Peter Teddy & Bertie. Had a 5 night stay in the annex with my dog who loved the secure, enclosed garden with beautiful views. Quiet, clean and well equipped. Comfy bed, good size TV and Modern bathroom. Warm welcome at the local pub. Recommend Wycoller Country Park and Molly is a super host

We had a lovely stay. A great base for our weekend in York. The place had everything we needed and the breakfast was really nice too. Would definitely recommend and would happily stay again. Thanks Simon and Danielle!

We spent 3 nights in the apartment and loved everything about it. The place was spotlessly clean and extremely warm and comfortable. The wet room was fantastic and the bed was lovely and comfortable. It was a lovely surprise to find milk, tea, coffee, bread, butter, jam, marmalade and orange juice waitung for us on arrival. Very thoughtful. clear and detailed instructions were left for us and we really enjoyed our stay. can't wait to return.

Amazing find on airbnb! Clean and tidy place to stay, would 1000% recommend to anyone! Hot tub was lovely and beautiful views :) easy to find. Plus close to Manchester and Leeds which is great! So relaxing and peaceful which is what we was looking for :)

Stayed in Linda’s cottage for four nights to escape our house renovation! The cottage was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean with lots of little extra touches with fresh milk, tea, coffee, sugar, kitchen essentials and toiletries. Linda was super responsive and helpful throughout and easily contactable. Only a 10 min drive from York city centre but the cottage was so peaceful in beautiful surroundings. Thank you Linda 😊

We had a really nice day and it was set in a beautiful location, we felt right at home. We hope to visit again one day!

We had a lovely last minute one night stay at Juliet’s place and it was just what we needed after a long drive. Easy to find, parking right outside the door, beautiful surroundings (we enjoyed watching the sheep from the window), immaculately clean, super comfy bed and very quiet. Juliet was great communicating, and responded really quickly to my last minute request to book. It’s a very short drive to Harrogate and also just off the Skipton road, which is a lovely town worth visiting. We will definitely be back! Thanks Juliet, we hope to stay longer next time! X

Beautiful little place, I booked for me and partner but due to circumstances we did t get to go so I have our okace up to a family member, she recommended to go some day and said she will be going back herself. She said it was cosy and cute and very romantic, she did a video tour for me and it was exactly how I hoped it would have been. Once my personal circumstances have resolved me and my partner will defo be booking again for some time in the future. Because it was such short notice she didn’t get to try the pubs/food near by but she went for a walk about 20mins away sent me lots of pics and said I’d love it, as I am a walking person myself the scenes looked beautiful. Tania was excellent and very friendly. Happy customer and happy replacement attendees .

We had a lovely stay here - the apartment was beautifully decorated and furnished, nice and clean, and full of useful amenities. The sofa could be extended into a sofa bed, and had an extra blanket and pillows inside, perfect to lounge on for a lazy day in. The bathroom was also pleasant, with a nice selection of shower supplies too. Location was lovely, close to a local park/woods and within walking distance to a bus stop into Leeds city centre. Bonus points for the cute friendly cat we got to play with in the garden! I would definitely recommend!

This is a lovely studio flat, equipped with everything a visitor could reasonably want. Peter and Gill's friendly and helpful manner made them outstanding hosts. My wife and I can recommend the flat without reservation! Tony & Jennie Linnett

We had a wonderful stay over Easter weekend, Amanda was an excellent host and very good at communicating. The lodge was clean and tidy with everything we needed inside. The treats for us (& the dogs) were an added bonus. We will definitely be staying again and recommending to family. 😊

Lovely annex just the job for the two of us on our walking weekend in Scarborough. Anne was a smashing host who was cheerful and helpful with us on arrival and throughout our stay. I would thoroughly recommend.

The Cow Shed is a great place to stay to discover North Yorkshire. Although attached to the owners house it’s extremely private with its own entrance. The views are spectacular and when we were there in late August lavender bushes were flowering all around the property. Lucy was a kind, communicative and attentive host and the information provided in the house about local walks, pubs, restaurants etc was extremely useful. We particularly enjoyed The Square and Compass pub nearby. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. We loved the four poster bed with views across the countryside and the pool table provided hours of entertainment!

Lovely little place to stay for a weekend. It has a spacious living area, a good size bathroom and all the amenities listed on the advert. There are nice walks nearby and some local pubs that serve good food. Bridget was easily contactable throughout the stay. It's a very good find! Definitely worth a visit. The kitchen area is quite small and it's not easy to cook a meal with many parts (there is a microwave and a stove-top oven but the nature of the stove-top is that you can use the hobs or the oven section but not both at the same time, so we had to cook in stages and it took a long time. That said - for a short weekend with the local food venders, it wouldn't be an issue). For a small kitchen it has everything you need (crockery, cutlery, salt and pepper, oil, etc).

Lovely place which my wife and I stayed at for the Burlesque festival which was mainly at the Todmorden Hippodrome. The place is about a 20-25 minute walk to Todmorden or a 6 minute drive. A taxi back cost £6 so all in all well positioned. Everything was very clean and comfortable. I had to work remotely on the first day and the WiFi worked well enough for a day of video calls. Would definitely not hesitate to stay there again next time we visit the area.

Super impressed with the place, very chic and modern. Everything was very well set out and great attention to detail. Very clean & tidy. The host were really helpful and got back to us straight away with any questions we had.

Lovely private setting. Liz’s place is in a residential neighbourhood, so very quiet - which was lovely after hustle and bustle of driving and sight seeing. The facilities were as described and had everything I needed. Nice lounge area with skylights and view of the garden. Plenty of off street parking. Close to everything. Had a great stay.

Fabulous Airbnb. Immaculate, comfortable and extremely well presented. The kitchen is well equipped with full breakfast supplies (tea, coffee, milk, juice, butter, jam, cereal, fruit, yoghurt and even crumpets!!) The location is perfect - just a short stroll to the station and the beautiful high street. We appreciated the quiet but easy access into Ilkley and would have no hesitation in booking again.

Had another great stay at Clare's property, warm, cosy and very well equipped, Clare's always on hand for help and advice. It's very handy for visiting our family in Pocklington, 20mins in the car to North Cave nature reserve. The Plough at Allerthorpe has just reopened, just 200m away, serves great meals and beer, but suggest booking for meals.
