Seafront Cottage near Sintra

Breathe the salty air over alfresco dinners at the water's edge at a restored 1940 retreat with 360-degree views. Nestled in 40,000 square meters of grounds, this homey heaven combines nautical accents with smooth stone and chunky wooden furniture. Surf Rental complete equipment is possible or surf lessons, by previous appointment. An electric car or a 9 seat Van VW Caravelle is available for rental by request, with excellent conditions, pick up in Sintra or at Lisbon airport. Very cosy and warm with a lightfire in the living room. The house has one small bedroom with a double bed and other room "Kind of a boat" with a 3 store bed (sleep 4 children). The outside of this house include an exterior shower (hot/cold water), a barbecue, a small tank and and a big table. The 40.000 m2 property has a bigger house just behind (http://abnb.me/EVmg/X5OG5cFJTE), but the outside spaces are totally independent. There is also a shed with good shade for the cars. Go from sintra about 12 km to Magoito beach (Praia do Magoito). When you arrive in Magoito go all the way down to the beach and pass the fortress by the sea. Turn right and you will see the last two white houses. You're there! All the information for an unforgettable stay at the magoito seacliff houses; places to visit, restaurants, sugestions etc. When required, we can make it happen! A personalized special fishing and surfing tour, only for wild, top and "out of the box " adventures. We can also provide surfing equipment and drive you on a Jeep if it pleases you (fee 100eur/day/guest) Experience the beauty and wildness of this place, surrounded by wild beaches and just 12 km from historic, picturesque Sintra. The property is located at an excellent fishing point called Ponta do Caneiro. Just 12 km from sintra center (vila) "the Portuguese Environment Agency is finishing the recovery of the cliff, located in front of the house, between 50 and 100 meters. There are no noisy works anymore but only a fence in the cliff. The works started last July 2017 and will be totally finished and removed in April 2018" The location of this houses are unique, and the environment did not change much since 1950. Aberdeen Lighthouse Cottages, only 10 minutes from the city centre, are the perfect place to relax next to the sea. This coast is one of the best places in Europe to see dolphins. Cottage 1 has 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6) and is one of the original lightkeepers' cottages. With a professional interior design, it is very comfortable with a 4* Visit Scotland grading. The cosy sitting room has a woodburning stove for those times when the wind and North Sea are livelier than usual. CHILDREN ARE WELCOME.

Torentje van Trips, overnachten in een watertoren.

Het Torentje van Trips is een oude verbouwde watermolen. Alle gewenste luxe met A label is aanwezig. Hier ziet u de zon opkomen en heeft u een fantastisch uitzicht over de landerijen. Een meertje met strand op loopafstand en in de omgeving zijn meerdere restaurants -uitgaansmogelijkheden. Het interieur is modern met behoud van de karakteristieke elementen. Warme sfeer en gemoedelijkheid. Het Torentje van Trips is geschikt voor stellen, gezin (kinderen) en rustige groepen tot en met 7 personen.

Living in a Lighthouse

A magical converted 18th-century lighthouse located on the edge of the picturesque village of Winterton-on-Sea, Norfolk. A building with a rich history, mentioned in Defoe's Robinson Crusoe and used as a lookout tower during World War II. The original tower has now been extended at ground level, with a simple glass and timber structure, which opens onto a cedar deck and garden. The property has been widely featured in interiors magazines and national newspapers.
