I had a great stay. The place is very easy to find and in a great location. Was very impressed with how clean and organized everything was. Would highly recommend staying at river romance.

My friends and I had a wonderful weekend here! I can honestly say that this was one of the most welcoming Airbnb experiences I've ever had. The hosts greeted us and gave us a thoughtful tour of the space, and they even prepared delicious homemade cookies for us. They also ensured that heaters near the river functioned well, and they made themselves available for any questions. The location and room itself were peaceful and incredibly comfortable. I already hope to come back for a get-away weekend once the weather warms up! I cannot recommend this Airbnb enough.

Our stay here was fabulous and felt right at home. This home is very cozy with beautiful decor and obviously well thought out on everything. We were so close to downtown and were able to walk mostly during our time here. We will certainly plan to return and recommend this to our friends that need a place for two.

This was the perfect location—right on the river and easily walkable to all the shops and restaurants in Helen!

Me and my friends spent a week at this place. Even though it's a shared space, it's very private. The surroundings are beautiful and it's a great place to unwind and relax, highly recommend!

The resort is lovely! It’s a nice get away. Just keep in mind cell service is limited in this area! It’s beautiful. 😍

We enjoyed our three night stay very much. We love to walk, but yet being just a few short blocks away from Main St meant we could walk everywhere yet have a quiet place to sleep at night. The parking, while not a dedicated spot, was never an issue - always right out front. The kitchen had just what we needed since we only planned to have breakfast each morning.

Our group of senior-citizen guys had a great weekend at this house. We were celebrating our 35th year of monthly card games and friendship, and the house was perfect for our needs. Beautiful property, well-maintained, and comfortable. Looked just like the pictures. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped, had everything we could have needed, making it easy to prepare meals for the group. The local host, Jessica, was great, she quickly responded to all our questions and accommodated our special requests. The first day, we found the outdoor gas grill was not functioning properly, but Jessica brought an entirely new grill to the house less than an hour after being informed of the problem!! We all were very impressed by her promptness and friendliness in fixing this issue.

The home was very clean and comfortable and anything we needed was provided. It is quite spacious yet sitting in the living room at night with the gas fireplace turned on was so cozy. Sitting on the back porch was peaceful and serene - total bliss. Gloria is a wonderful host and I would recommend staying here and hope to again.

I’m tempted to write a bad review so more dates will be available when I’m ready to come back. This was our 2nd visit and it was great again. So much to do without leaving the house. Fishing, kayaking, volleyball, badminton, ping pong, foosball, fire pit, board games, etc. Great price too! The only problem this time was that the WiFi was a bit spotty, even after a couple resets. Probably for the best though! Looking forward to our next visit soon hopefully.

Our family has been coming to Bear Paw for the last 20 years for our family reunion. This was our first time in this cabin, and it didn't disappoint. Plenty of space, and our children truly enjoyed the game room and well stocked board games. We ended up meeting the neighbors when enjoying the lake and they were so wonderful as well.

Great house in amazing location! The house has plenty of space and was stocked extremely well even for our large party. There are plenty of amenities within the house itself, such as a canoe, volleyball nets, ping-pong tables, a firepit and a grill, as well as in the surrounding area. Leah was responsive and easy to reach. It was a great weekend getaway and I would highly reccommend the house!

From the moment we put in our reservation Bobby and Dina made us feel so very welcomed. We truly enjoyed our stay at their beautiful home on the river. The peace and tranquility of the home made it a much needed getaway. I would highly recommend this home to anyone staying in the area. Bobby and Dina were super responsive to any requests we had and made some super recommendations of things in the surrounding are. We rode up on motorcycles and the drive in and driveway were very accessible for us to navigate and park. we will definitely be making this our usual place to stay when we're in the area.

Highly recommend this Airbnb! Kim was super sweet, highly responsive and has thought of everything in the house. The kitchen is equipped with almost any cooking tool/pots & pans. The house comes with plenty of towels & toiletries. Besides the river, the coffee bar was probably my favorite part of the house; what a well thought out & fully stocked coffee bar! I had 2 special requests and Kim was wonderful about both. Check in was easy-peasy. The river is stunning. We enjoyed cool wildlife like beavers floating down the river & hawks flying above clutching their catch of the day. And so many birds singing! We enjoyed a very clean hot tub after a long day of canoeing & hiking. I also loved the special touch of seasonal decor throughout the home showing extra care about their guest’s experience making it feel like home. The kids enjoyed the pool/air hockey table a lot so that was a great feature upstairs! Thanks Kim!

This vacation involved checking out the area for an upcoming wedding. For the house, we wanted lots of space in the house and easy parking, bathrooms for each family group, family space to hang out, easy walking, and of course access to the lake. All of these happened plus great porch space with the firepit and also the outdoor firepit. The stairs to the lake provided a work out and planning for the day. That is the only consideration for others to be aware of, is if they have a family member that has issues with stairs. The area is beautiful and exactly what we hoped for and this home with the easy contact for any issues or questions made it a great week!

Great little weekend getaway for our family of 4 including 2 small children. So many amenities and lots to do. The view from the patio with the porch swing was amazing!

This is a nice little house in the woods that is perfect for a getaway with a partner. The location was private, and there was a local store down the road if you needed anything else. Really nice kitchen, living room, and bedroom. Only complaint is the water smelled a little off (latexy), but I’m sure that’s just an issue with getting water to the location that’s out of their control. Other than that it was a great little getaway for the weekend and I highly recommend.

Quick trip from Florida. Great spacious place for the family and pricing was on point comparatively to the surrounding market. Will 100% recommend and book this exact condo in the near future.

Sherry’s place in Helen was ideal. The view of the river, the ease to access, all what we were hoping for. Comfortable throughout, nice bedding, plenty of towels, and very quiet. Kitchen was well appointed and the refrigerator was, well, next level! The one thing that I will note is, for older folks like myself, a youngish 70, it might be a little longer walk into town then you might want. Doable, but longer than one might think. Overall, an awesome place!!

This was a very cozy, comfortable stay. A balcony overlooking the beautiful river. It had a dark, cold, comfortable bedroom. The king size bed was roomy with a great mattress. We felt at home.

Great and responsive Host. Location was great and within walking distance of Helen attractions. Home still had festive decorations and was very clean and cozy. Will definitely be back for Oktoberfest. Thanks for a great weekend!

This spot was amazing to stay in and we would absolutely visit again. Close enough to downtown to have fun but far enough away that you felt like you had a private space in the woods. The upstairs swing was pure bliss with a cozy, fluffy blanket on a brisk morning. The only real issue we ran into during our stay was with parking. The garage only fits 2 cars comfortably and we had 3. The person with the most reliable E brake gets the hill! Also, bring your own toiletries. They weren't provided and the local store is a little pricey.
