we had a great stay with our kids and pup. It was an easy and relaxing trip!

Even with the gondola being down in kicking horse at the moment, we are glad we never changed our plans and kept our great reservation at the Smiley Wolf! The beds and space is very comfortable and the photos don’t even do as much justice as the actual place! Thanks again Ben and Vera!!

We had a fantastic stay at this property. Firstly, the views are surreal; like something out of a movie. Each morning, wed wake up to herds of either elk or deer grazing in the field below the mountain views. The marsh, across the field, was great for bird watching. The cabin-like home was very spacious, clean, cozy and all the necessary supplies - and more, were provided for our stay. The property is located perfectly; it’s just far enough into the wilderness to provide tranquility although still within a reasonable driving distance to the town of Golden. Les and Krys were fantastic hosts. They were very quick to respond to our questions and provided us with privacy. We will, without a doubt, be returning to this property for a vacation in the future.

We had a lovely girls weekend at Birds & Branches. The home is so beautifully decorated. The backyard is a peaceful oasis and a bird watching paradise. The nearby walking trails were an added bonus! Loved our stay & can’t wait to come back.

Absolutely breathtaking slice of heaven! The fully fenced yard was perfect to let the pup roam while we enjoyed the hot tub and mountain views. Having well marked trails straight from the door that led to the river is exactly what you want in a beautiful place like this. 10 out of 10!

Great, clean place as our base for the weekend. Host was extremely helpful and easy to communicate with! Would highly recommend for a peaceful vacation.

Nice clean, private, peaceful place to stay.Everything was exactly as stated in the add.Provided towels, linens, plates, soaps and some condiments/spices that I forgot. They had firewood available for us to use as well. Awesome place to stay highly recommend to anyone looking to unplug !!

We had some weather interference with our booking and the hosts were incredibly accommodating and helpful ensuring we still had an opportunity to make the trip and on dates that worked out. This allowed us to have an extremely comfortable stay and we plan to be back when we can access the cowboy hot tub in the summer months!

We visited the area for the World Field Archery Championship. This cabin was well stocked with everything that we needed. Coming back to this cozy little spot and building a fire was the perfect end to our day. Justin communicated promptly. We would highly recommend this cabin.

Second stay here at “the rec base” with my lady and our 2 dogs. It was wonderful. This time we stayed in the dead of winter and it was so peaceful and quiet. We bundled up and walked the property, sat by the fireplace, put on some music and enjoyed some REAL down time. Thanks for sharing your little piece of paradise. We’re already planning our next stay. :-)

We had our first family adventure weekend and this was exactly what we were looking for! Something unique, clean, a home away from home. We had a little bit of difficulty finding the site but the host answered right away and within a minute we found it! The small little touches make a world of difference here! We will stay again!

The location was perfect, close enough to all amenities yet secluded. The hosts have thought about everything and all the little things- dog treats, tea bags, sauna spray- really made this cabin a home. My granny and I are were beyond comfortable, mentioning she hasn’t slept that well in some time. She runs cold but with plenty of blankets provided and the cozy fireplace, we were set. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck, walks to the lake and evening saunas. Our week get away at this cabin was such a peaceful treat and accommodates every age. We will be back and have recommended this spot to many. Thank you, Brittany and family.

A great stay as always -- I've been here a few times and love it. Had a dead car battery and the host helped with a boost.

Staying at Kim’s cabin was an excellent experience! Accommodations were spotless, peaceful and had everything we could possibly need. The surrounding area is breathtaking with adventure right at our doorstep. I highly recommend living your best life at Kim’s Cabin!

Despite a winter storm blowing outside, the cabin was warm and comfortable. Lovely place to kick back with a book or a movie when the weather is howling outside. The kitchen is well stocked and I really like having a bathtub rather than just a shower. Tracy and Scott are right next door and responded very quickly to any inquiries we had. It’s nice that they accept pets, too. Manitou has a great dog park, but we didn’t go there this trip due to the snow. We will happily return to the cabin on another visit to Saskatchewan. Many thanks for a nice stay.

Great place for a group of people-plus we were able to bring our dogs, which mattered a lot to us. Beautiful surroundings-nice and private, with no one super close by. The place was nice and clean and communication with the host was good.

Laughing Raven Resort was exactly what my 2 daughters and I were looking for! William and Amy are incredible hosts being very informative and super friendly! The cabins have rustic charm and are super cute, perched right on a beautiful lakeside setting. Lots to do on site whether you’re playing in the lake, playing badminton, beach volleyball, hanging out in the games cabin or chilling on your cabin deck. We can’t wait to go back next summer and the next! But, this time we will be booking 3 nights minimum!

The cabin was perfect. Exactly as described. Very peaceful, beautiful and serene. Jennifer was great and always responsive. Definitely will be looking at coming back very soon.

Brett and Megan have a great get away. Our expectations were met and then some, as soon as we opened the door. The communication was helpful, and made us feel welcome. We look forward to returning.

We had a great time at this cabin! It was very clean, well-maintained and had all the amenities we needed. The host, Tanya, was very responsive and we had no issues checking in or out. We would recommend this place to anyone!

We booked 1 night here and 1 night at the treehouse for our anniversary. This unique location was a great place to escape from the busy life and connect to nature. Really enjoyed kayaking and sitting on the dock. Highly recommend booking at both the locations as they were great experiences. This would be a great getaway with another couple if you booked both. We will be going back. We also visited The Crabbie Goat distillery and Vallyview has a few great places to check out.

Staying with Phyllis was exactly what I was looking for! It was private, quiet and clean. The location was perfect for sight seeing, in between two larger centres if you wanted to be in town. Phyllis and her family, even Piper the dog were very friendly and kind! At Phylis’s you will get the feeling that you’re home! I look forward to my next stay!!

Fantastic cabin just as advertised! Great relaxing long weekend. The fireplace is the highlight, but everything about the cabin is super relaxing. Great stay for a family with young kids!
