My family and I came down for our daughter's spring break. We wanted a quiet comfortable home for the kids and centrally located to take our day trips to Legoland, the Midway, and SeaWorld. This spot was perfect for all of this. Host was responsive, property was beautiful, and was also close to shopping centers. We will definitely see if this space is available during our next San Diego trip.

My family and I had a delightful time at Brian and Carla’s home. All amenities available with a spectacular pool and hot tub in the back combined with beautiful palm trees and birds of paradise which gives the feel of being in your own private oasis. Centrally located and in a nice neighborhood. Good communication at all times. Highly recommended. Brian and Carla, thank you for a memorable time.

Beautiful and modern house, organized supplies and everything. Owner is super responsive and friendly. Very safe and quiet neighborhood. Also Roof top hot tub is always hot and running. Thank you so much for the hospitality! Larissa & Dave

We had a great stay over spring break! Our group was 5 adults & 4 children, but we never felt cramped! The neighborhood is charming and felt safe, even to this small town family. We walked into the Kensington main street area most days - for coffee (Starbucks), acai bowls & organic groceries (Stehly Farms Market), pizza, burgers (kids eat free on Tuesday!), and ice cream (you MUST try the Ube & Toffee flavor at Stella Jeans)! :) The kids loved the pool/ hot tub, although it was a shame the pool guy never checked in over our weeklong stay. With 4 children in the pool every day, the water was cloudy by the time we left. I blame myself for not letting Zeina and Mo know, as they were responsive for all my other queries. The casita was a blessing for grandma and grandpa, who needed their quiet time. The only real complaint I heard from our group was that the house smells stale (like the charming old house it is) and the laundry/pingpong area smells of mildew. Opening doors helped!

Stayed here for the week with my wife and two boys for spring break. We had such a good time and it was such a great space. Lots of room to hang out throughout the house, plenty to do for all, Beautiful outdoor setup, the movie theater room was a hit, and the proximity to the zoo, Petco park, and other downtown destinations was great. In addition to the space, the host was extremely responsive to all questions and requests. Would highly recommend this house for a family getaway! Thanks to Daniel and the crew for a great stay.

Great place to stay! Easily walkable to most places in PB. Very responsive for a maintenance issue during our stay. Flexible check in helped us with needing a place for our luggage to go with an early flight in.

MILLION DOLLAR VIEWS Stayed here for a quick staycation and was absolutely blown away. The view is unreal! morning coffee and evening wine on the patio were next-level. The location is also super convenient, close to all the good restaurants and everything we needed. The house was modern, clean, cozy, and had great vibes all around. Only hiccup was the hot tub maintenance guy showing up unannounced and walking straight in. We wouldn’t have minded at all if he had just rung the doorbell first—it just caught us off guard. Other than that, it was an amazing stay. Would definitely come back!

We had a long girls’ weekend (a bunch of 40-yr old moms!) - this space was great and had plenty of space. There was a beautiful open living room, kitchen, and dining room. The large window from the kitchen opened so we could have an indoor/outdoor vibe. The yard area was great - plenty of seating and an incredible view. Point Loma and Shelter Island are an easy walk down the hill (going back up is another story!). We had everything we needed - full kitchen to cook, beach towels, etc.

This home was perfect for our intergenerational family gathering. There was space (and enough bathrooms) to accommodate all of us without being in each other's way but also being able to gather in our larger family group when needed. The location with views of the mountains was relaxing and reenergizing for the holiday with family members coming from all over. Although there were various spaces throughout the house, the kitchen area was a definite gathering space and accommodated well for people to be together and doing different things: cooking and preparing a meal, sitting and chatting, working on a laptop, reading in the family room not too far away. I appreciated the communication prior, throughout, and after our stay.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The home was spotless, beautifully furnished, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The hosts truly thought of everything, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The hosts went out of their way to be accommodating and hospitable. The pool was a huge hit with our kids, and every detail-from the amenities to the little thoughtful touches-made our stay extra special. If you're looking for a place that feels like a home away from home, this is it! We can't wait to come back.

Liam’s space is a great place. I’m very particular with beddings and pillows and it exceeded my expectation. We had peaceful nights without worrying about itchy linens. Everybody had a great time. Plenty of towels to soak in the hot tub. The kids enjoyed the space and their individuals bedroom. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for the stay. Liam, Mia and Thomas were very responsive. It’s close to a lot of the places we had to visit in SD. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who want to enjoy quiet neighborhood yet near the main attractions of San Diego.

Such a beautiful place and with three rooms, we will definitely bring our whole family back. The space is beautiful and everyone there is so kind. It’s so nice to have a shared space and meet nice people.

This home exceeded all my expectations! Everything was perfect for a group - from plentiful towels and outlets, lots of seating, VERY clean and super cozy! - This house is so beautifully decorated, and the backyard is amazing! Just the perfect place to be with family and friends. Sebastien provided very detailed and clear instructions, was very responsive and friendly. I will definitely come back for my future family stays!

My wife and I were celebrating our 15 year anniversary and wanted a nice quiet place to just hang out and take a break from all the craziness. This place fit perfectly. Very private, you feel on your own in the woods when in fact you are very near anything you would need. Beautiful area, watching the birds eat from the bird feeder was nice and we saw a few groups of turkeys walking around. Sitting by the propane fireplace with a nice book or soaking in the spa made for a very relaxing time. We would definitely come back. This was my 1st time doing an Airbnb so I have noting to compare but the host was completely on top of things making this as easy and smooth as possible. My wife and I had an amazing time and would definitely come back.

This place is absolutely DREAMY. The setting can not be beat and its so peaceful. The house is well stocked and had everything we needed and more. Everything was clean and comfortable. Jason was very responsive, kind and helpful. We enjoyed the the deck with family for Easter brunch, relaxing in the hammock swings, evening fires, walks to the pond, games and movies. Hoping to stay again soon!

Lydia was a very responsive host and was really easy to communicate with. We were a little skeptical because we knew we would be staying on the property where she lived with her family and were worried about privacy but the cabin is very private and although we naturally bumped into Lydia and her husband a few times, they did not spend any time out their back yard (where the cabin is located) for the duration of our stay so we had the place and the yard pretty much to ourselves which was great. We didn't realize how far away we would be from shops and restaurants. It is about a 20 minute walk to the nearby town so we did spend a lot of money on ubers but that was our own fault for not doing our research beforehand. Overall Lydias place is very clean and had everything we needed for our stay, she even had some stuff in the fridge and cleaning products which was really convenient. Thank you Lydia for a lovely stay.

This place is exactly what you see. You have all the privacy you need, but you're not too far away from the market. Finding the place, getting inside and the amount of things that you can do at the home, makes it worth the stay. The house was spotless, and everything in the house works. No surprises.

We had a wonderful couple of days in Julian in Aubrey's cabin as a family of 5. The scenery was stunning and we were close to a range of family-friendly walks in mountains and Anza-Borrego desert state park, as well as exploring Julian. Super cozy cabin and whole family was charmed. Aubrey was an excellent host and made everything so easy for us. Thanks again!

We rented the cabin after we had to cancel a camping trip and it was a wonderful and relaxing experience. It is nicely updated with plenty of space for 2. Lots of windows with pleasant views. So many places to hang out and explore. We climbed the mountain you can see from the deck (Stonewall Peak) and it was a great 4 mile hike from the Paso Picacho campground. The hot tub was very relaxing after hiking. It is an easy drive to Julian or Wynola to eat, just watch out for the deer and turkeys along the way. We also saw turkeys on the property. There are literally hiking trails everywhere in the area so we hope to return in the future.

Second time staying at this property and that’s the greatest endorsement I can give ! The property is quiet, private and very clean. Beautiful views and great star gazing. I’ll be back in the future !

Amazing stay in Julian, the cabin was super clean, comfortable and at a great location 2 miles from Main St. Julian. The cabin had beautiful views and felt really secluded, private and quiet. Me and the family had a great time!
