We are just 1 hour from Toronto with easy access off the 407. We also have an amazing log cabin for rent on the same 300 acres.

The “Forest Loft” is a one-of-a-kind space surrounded by the old-growth trees of Kinghurst Forest. The 1,600-square-foot space sleeps up to four and features two Queen-size beds and linens, huge harvest table, indoor kitchenette with a stovetop and fridge, filtered water, shower, propane and wood stove heating, in-door basketball hoop, hammock, picnic table, a commercial grade BBQ, fire ring and access to two beautiful spring-fed ponds. Wakefield waterfront on the Gatineau river. Great views of and only a few steps from the iconic covered bridge and a short walk to restaurants, pubs and cafes. Two fireplaces, two decks, and plenty of parking. This is a brand new home that we are sure you will enjoy. Respectful, courteous guests only. The magnificent views from the home and the two large decks come with some effort and this vacation paradise is not recommended for those with mobility issues.
