Built in 1910, this renovated home gives the feeling of years gone by in a new way. The Smith House, once home to a treasured family of 12, is rich in history & heart. Bring your whole family to a place with lots of room for fun & laughter. Our cozy 3-bedroom home has everything you need for your Loup City trip. You will enjoy the entire home to yourself! Enjoy a relaxing stay with family and friends at the Wagner Cabins, a family-owned small working ranch in the secluded Calamus, Nebraska area. Our cabins are nestled along the North Loup River and just minutes from the Calamus Reservoir. A large pond with excellent fishing is just a stone’s throw from the cabin porches. The Pepper Shed

Welcome to "The Pepper Shed" named after our black lab. This is a unique utility shed with built-in living quarters located next to our family home located along the Cedar River. Beds are located in open loft upstairs and bathroom is located on the ground level. While staying, feel free to make yourself at home with private access to a patio, dog kennel, walk out balcony with full accommodations of Wi-Fi, TV with Roku, washer and dryer, outdoor grill and full kitchen.

Find peace and solitude as you relax and unwind in our quiet neighborhood. Our cottage was enhanced with new flooring, new furniture, and appliances in 2024, and also with a remodeled bathroom. The big front porch is the perfect place for morning coffee or an evening meal. A quiet street with a corn field to the south of the cabin and a grassy meadow on the other side. Just across the meadow is the Scotia Rec Hall with playground equipment.
