Lovely, peaceful, spacious place with a kind and generous host in Simone. He met us as we arrived and used his wagon to help move our luggage into the cottage. Big rooms, lots of space, many handy supplies in the kitchen. Good shower, comfortable bed. Enough bench space in the bathroom to put your things. Simone was really helpful with local recommendations for restaurants and where to park the car. One day he made a delicious tart and bought us in half. Would recommend staying at his place.

Margherita è stata un host impeccabile, sempre molto gentile e disponibile nelle risposte! Mi ha fornito di tutte le info necessarie e di ottimi consigli. La casa è molto accogliente e funzionale, grandi spazi sia interni che esterni. La casa si trova in un ottima posizione. Spero di poterci ritornare. Grazie Margherita.

Prachtige locatie met uitzicht over de vallei en de historische binnenstad van Gubbio. Echt een aanrader!

Gianluca war ein sehr fürsorglicher Host. Erreichbarkeit und Kommunikation einfach, unkompliziert und schnell - in sehr gutem Englisch. Die Unterkunft ist ideal für jeden der Ruhe und Privatsphäre sucht. Das Haus hat alles was es für einen schönen Urlaub braucht inklusive großem Pool, Sauna und Whirlpool. Gianluca hat uns sehr gute Restaurants und Ausflugsziele empfohlen. Vor allem auch viele Insidertipps, d.h. keine Touristenhochburgen sondern lokale in denen Einheimische essen. Wir kommen gerne wieder 😊 Danke Gianluca 👍

Die Eco Lodge ist ein wahres Schmuckstück und Ulla & Ralf sind sehr bemüht und hilfsbereit. Absolute Empfehlung!

My husband, dogs, and I had an amazing stay at the cottage. It was peaceful and private- we enjoyed cooking dinner and eating on the patio every night. The cottage had everything we needed and my dogs loved that they could explore inside the fully fenced yard. The location is great if you like to explore all the little towns, but have peace and quiet at the end of the day. This has been our favorite place to stay in Tuscany and we hope we can come back soon!

L’alloggio “il Cottage“ è un delizioso appartamentino di due camere che si trova proprio accanto alla fortezza (che lo rende ancora più suggestivo). Francesca e Aliek ci hanno accolti con gentilezza e professionalità, facendoci sentire come a casa nostra. Tutta la loro famiglia è stata molto carina e disponibile, inclusi cani, gatti e asinelli che sono stati per noi una compagnia inaspettata e molto gradevole. La fortezza si trova in un’area molto tranquilla ma allo stesso tempo vicino alle maggiori attrazioni turistiche dell’Umbria facilmente raggiungibili in auto, al massimo in un paio d’ore. Assolutamente consigliato sia per coppie che per famiglie, o semplicemente per persone che amano la tranquillità e la bellezza .

Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima e rilassante settimana di vacanza nel fienile restaurato di Villa Parigini . La casa è molto silenziosa, accogliente e confortevole ed è ben organizzata. Ha un bel giardino e una piscina per rinfrescarsi e rilassarsi. Ottima posizione per visitare Siena e la zona del Chianti. Giada e sua mamma sono Host molto gentili e disponibili. Saremo lieti di tornarci.

Mio marito ed io abbiamo soggiornato due notti nel Seccatoio delle castagne del Podere di Maggio. Che dire? Un vero paradiso: incastonato in una vallata meravigliosa con il monte Amiata difronte e il bellissimo borgo medievale di Santa Fiora. Non potevamo chiedere di meglio: struttura meravigliosa, ben curata, nei dettagli, una pace impagabile. I padroni di casa sono stati fantastici, ospitali e ci hanno fatto davvero sentire a casa. Insomma tutto perfetto, non manca nulla, ovvio devi amare la vita bucolica come noi ! Unica pecca? Due notti sono state troppo brevi e sicuramente torneremo . Grazie Peter , Rita e dolce Noemi. Wat een heerlijke plek! We hebben een heel fijne week gehad. Het zwembad (al was het nog erg koud in april) het terras en het uitzicht zijn perfect en erg prive. Paolo en familie zijn zeer gastvrij en doen er alles aan om je een prettig verblijf te laten hebben. Een aanrader!

Truly an amazing spot for a family vacation. An easy drive from FCO, the area is totally stunning. Gabriele was the most fantastic host, treating us like old friends. His recommendations, assistance in making reservations, and just general approach made this an enjoyable and hassle free experience. He even chopped wood for us for the evening. The house is secluded, with great nature walks starting from the property. Everything in the house was in fantastic shape, with everything we needed to enjoy it stay. A great small kitchen for cooking meals, nice bathrooms, comfy bedrooms and living room. It was exactly what we were looking for in our family getaway. I strongly recommend Gabrielle’s house for a fabulous Italian family trip.

We loved our peaceful stay at Serena’s beautiful property. The house was cozy, rustic, and spacious. She was very accommodating with a high chair and baby crib. My 1 year old especially enjoyed the horse, donkeys, dogs, and cats on the farm. She recommended fantastic local wineries, and even cooked us a delicious Florentine “farm to table” meal. Would recommend to anyone looking for a farm stay away from the bustle of the busy and crowded cities. Thanks Serena!!!

We enjoyed a lovely week at Daniela’s country house. We were a family group of 3 couples and there was lots of space to spread out with many comfortable sitting areas. It was hot so the pool was used a lot. The town is walkable and we enjoyed going out for drinks and a meal a few times but equally enjoyed cooking at the house and eating on the terrace. A car is recommended as buses are tricky and the train station 22 mins drive away. There are lots of interesting places to visit in the area as well. Thank you Daniela for hosting us!

Ulisse's was really helpful as he met me at his restaurant and I followed him to the cottage. There is a coop, a butchers, a bakery and a little supermarket in Buccine and a small market on Wednesday mornings, which is really handy as there is not much around the cottage. It is in the middle of the country side surrounded by vineyards and nature, a perfect place for nature lovers. Ulisse, his wife and daughter were all really helpful and quick to resolve issues. For anyone trying to find it, have the petrol station and ristorante di ciccio on your left then continue straight on the SP540 , once you pass ristorante le bottega grassa ( a white building on your right) it is your next right turn ( the dump where you need to dispose of your rubbish from the cottage is on the right of this road) then take your next left signed "Le Mura" you continue down this road until a big yellow and white hse on the left and the big stone house on the right, the cottage is beside the stone house.

L'endroit est vraiment magique et l'accueil très sympathique.

Lieber Lucio, nun sind wir bereits zum zweiten Mal bei dir in Magione gewesen. Dieses Mal zwar nur für 5 Nächte, dennoch genauso bezaubernd und erholsam wie letztes Jahr. Wir schätzen deine freundliche, ruhige Art in jeder Situation. Wenn wir einmal etwas falsch gemacht haben, hat es sich bei dir gar nicht wie ein Fehler angefühlt. We had a wonderful time at the cottage in Cennina. The setting was absolutely beautiful. We felt remote yet were just a few minutes from nearby Ambra and Bucine. We highly recommend this place and we hope to return soon.

L’alloggio é un monolocale perfetto per una coppia, pulito e nella sua semplicità fornito di tutto. Sicuramente super consigliato per chi vuole vivere al interno di un suggestivo borgo medievale e come plus godere della vista dal meraviglioso terrazzo attrezzato di questa casa! CONSIGLIATISSIMO

We recently spent two weeks in this delightful house. The location is perfect for exploring the area around the lake and further afield due to good road links. It has all the feel of an isolated house while being close to shops and restaurants. The house was very clean when we arrived and although basic has all the things you really need. Andrea the host was absolutely delightful and welcoming. He was very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Grazie mille per tutto, abbiamo soggiornato in questa splendida location in occasione dei festeggiamenti di capodanno in gruppo di 8 amici, tutto perfetto e anche meglio di come ci aspettavamo sia Silvia (host) che Camilla sono state super disponibili e sempre reperibili, tutto davvero perfetto, pulizia e ordine, c'era tutto ciò di cui abbiamo avuto bisogno, non posso che consigliarlo ;) grazie ancora e buon anno! We had an amazing time at the property. The little house is exactly what we were looking for. Bright, comfortable, clean, well equipped, amazing hosts. Close to everything, yet in a very private, calm area. Would recommend without a doubt.
