Bed & breakfasts in Outer Banks

Great location, beautiful house. Right across from the beach. Our room had a nice balcony. We liked the coffee and snacks in the shared kitchen downstairs also nice to meet other guests to socialize with. Would stay there again.

This was the best Airbnb and/or B&B experience we’ve ever had. Johanna and Michael are the perfect hosts and their house and hospitality are off the charts. The reviews are all spot on and this is a true B&B experience. Johanna went overboard to ensure my family’s comfort and stay were amazing. We would DEFINITELY stay again. It was one of the best parts of our OBX experience. Thank you so much Johanna for everything. You are the bestest host ever!!!

Our stay in the sea level suite was perfect. The location was great, the beach is right across the street and there are so many great restaurants within a short walk/drive. The breakfast was simple but just what we needed to start our day and the afternoon snacks were a nice treat! Being able to bring our dog was a huge plus. Would defiantly love to stay here again in the future.

I was traveling with my husband and mother. We felt very well taken care of! We were personally greeted and taken to our rooms, and were welcomed with champagne and a charcuterie board! The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and a fun start to our day. Cheryl,and her friend Teresa, gave us great recommendations of restaurants and things to do in the area. There are special touches in the rooms that make you feel thought of—such as Godiva chocolates and nice glassware for drinks and coffee. Cheryl also provides bath robes and toiletries. There is a kuerig machine with plenty of coffee available. The rooms have been updated with a fresh clean look! The beds are cozy and comfortable! I look forward to coming back some day! Staying with Jo & Mike over Labor Day weekend was the best decision ever! It was truly a home away from home. We wanted to get away for a relaxing weekend at the beach and that's exactly what we got. Their home is beautiful! Everything was super comfortable and immaculately clean. Breakfast was delicious...not even gonna lie, we helped ourselves to seconds! We loved that the beach was only a few minutes away, so convenient and definitely a plus. And the best part was getting to know Jo & Mike. I can honestly say we now have friends in the Outer Banks! No doubt their home will be the only place we'll stay in next time we're in town.

I LOVE how friendly Aida and John are. The place was wondering and the minor problems we had, they were very quick to fix them and I cannot record them enough. They were kind, everything was in a good distance and it is so peaceful! This was my first time using Airbnb and they made it a wonderful experience❤️ Thank you John and Aida!!

My stay at the Cottington Inn was absolutely incredible. From the moment I arrived, I felt a sense of relaxation and calm that I truly needed. The atmosphere was peaceful, the accommodations were comfortable, and every detail seemed thoughtfully designed to help guests unwind. This stay was more than just a getaway—it was a reset that came at the perfect time. I can’t recommend it enough to anyone looking for a place to recharge and find a sense of peace. I’ll definitely be back!

Had a wonderful weekend at Mikes house. Everything was as described on the website. I was a little nervous about checking into a place with other people coming and going but it wasn’t anything to worry about. Spoke with some others who were there and it was great. House was clean and we didn’t have any complaints while there. Would stay there again and the ocean is just a five minute walk which was great

Mikes place was just as described. Check in was easy and the room was clean. Easy walk to the beach and pier. We enjoyed the pool and the snacks were a nice treat. Would definitely stay here again.

Darold was very welcoming. He gave us a tour of their beautiful home and our room. Darold brought us fresh baked cookies to our room after dinner. They were delicious. The breakfast was very good. We are sorry we missed meeting Dawn this visit. We would definitely stay there again.
