Perfect spot for a weekend getaway. So close to downtown Ventura. We did some walking but also found driving and parking super easy in the city. Awesome view and private space.

We were really pleased by the location, the apartment, and the host YiFan. The apartment was clean and had anything and everything a guest would need. Plenty of closet and drawer space. Large comfortable bed. It was a particularly hot week when we were there and the A/Cs worked great. The windows also often cross ventilation. As noted by others, this apartment is connected to a house that sits in Box Canyon in Chatsworth at the top of a road. The road is a bit challenging the first time you go up it, but you quickly get used to it. The view from the porch is incredible, of the nearby mountains and across several communities. Great sunrises and moonscapes. YiFan was always available, immediately responsive, and helpful - a great host. It was a convenient location for us, less than 15 minutes from family. Anything you might need (Ralph's, Target, Home Depot, Trader Joe's, CVS, restaurants, etc.) is within a 15-20 minute drive. We loved staying here and look forward to returning.

We spent three weeks in this beautiful space and had the best time. So special being surrounded by nature and waking up to the most magical mountain views each morning. The apartment is peaceful, homely, spacious and thoughtfully decorated, with everything we needed for a longer stay - well equipped kitchen, laundry, a handy workspace, good wifi. We enjoyed all the books too! It’s a perfect location for spending time in Topanga, with many beautiful walks and beaches a short and scenic drive away. Definitely aim to arrive in daylight the first time as suggested, as it can be easy to get lost in the winding roads initially! Rose and Bradley were great hosts - while mostly being away during our stay, they were quick to respond with anything we needed, and it was lovely meeting their sweet labrador Luna, too. Highly recommend, we would definitely return!

If you’re looking for a magical stay whilst visiting Ojai this is your place. I felt right at home from the moment I parked the rental car under the carport. The place was spotless, everything was super easy and I felt relaxed right away. The views were incredible and I will def be staying again. Thanks, Guys!

Moorpark CC was the venue for a family wedding. In searching for a place to stay, we found Christine and Dennis's lovely place, such gracious and friendly hosts. The guest home is extremely clean and comfortable, Moorpark is too with many restaurants and available amenities.

Cindy and Seth were amazing and very accommodating! Will for sure be back make sure to book they are amazing and not was An amazing experience

Jon’s place was great! His dogs were kind and friendly. Jon was an excellent host and I would gladly stay with him again.

Lovely place to stay with a lovely view. About a 5 min drive to Point Dume, one of the most beautiful ocean hikes we’ve ever been on. Hostess was very kind and let us check in early because we were ahead of schedule. Side note: Driving in, it might be helpful to still have a little daylight finding it, and also to watch those potholes for your car (not anything the airbnb can do about it, it’s a city side street, just a heads up!) We really enjoyed our time there! :)

This was a great stay for 1-2 people. The location was super close to downtown Thousand Oaks where you can find all the restaurants and stores you need, the place was super cozy and clean and they even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine (unfortunately we aren’t wine drinkers lol). Highly recommend their place!

Words don’t describe how beautiful and walkable this property is. Beautiful scenery all around. Host had very clear instructions and everything was as described. Would love to stay again, 3 days was not enough to take in every beautiful part of this property ! Garden and flowers all around, we watched the sunrise and heard beautiful birds. Also a pond with frogs and lizards very beautiful.

We absolutely loved Kimberly’s place! We wanted a quiet and romantic place to relax for our NYE and it was perfect! She placed many thoughtful amenities in the Airbnb and the place was clean, clutterfree and had a proper kitchen for cooking. The bed was soft and comfortable and it was honestly better than some of the hotels we experienced during our trip. I 200% recommend her place!

Can honestly say that if your travelling to LA you need to stay here, be careful when booking elsewhere! We first booked in Venice and the place was not what it was as advertised... this place on the other hand was clean today and welcoming around a 2 minute drive from a Walmart and all your fast food restaurants with a 7/11 (like a coop in England) in walking distance, the hosts where amazing, literally couldn't be more helpful when asked stuff but also left you alone, I can't stress enough you must book here if staying in LA!

Beautiful Neighborhood. I really enjoyed taking a walk up and down the hill, it is a little over a mile in this very special neighborhood. Lots of people walking their dogs, even though I did see a coyote daily, the neighbors know about him/her yet they coexist beautifully. As far as the unit itself, It was decorated so nicely and also had a very comfy bed. Big bathroom and shower and having a laundry inside the unit was very appreciated. Mani was very responsive when I mentioned that the kitchen main light was not working and he had an electrician there to fix. It is a very peaceful private location surrounded by nature. There is a huge closet too to store all your clothes and any extra luggage you may have. The only thing is that if you like watching TV in the bedroom, there is not one. But I had my laptop so not a big deal. I really enjoyed my stay and would go back even just to walk this charming neighborhood again.

Good stay! Exactly as expected. Comfy and great location. Hosts were friendly and made check-in easy. Would definitely recommend!

Wow! What an incredible stay! I cannot recommend to stay here enough. The entire place is some very special and with the most spectacular views of the mountains, great mountain energy. Heidi is really wonderful, helpful and supportive. I had personal difficulties and she helped me a lot. An angel of LA. There are lots of fur friends to connect with too. If cuddles and love with them all. Thank you Heidi for such a nurturing stay. You did give guidance that a car is required, as a foreigner I wasn’t confident to drive, thanks for helping me with organising rides.

Chris was extremely responsive, respectful, friendly, and made sure I had what I needed. The place has everything you could need and is situated in a beautiful canyon. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend staying here, I definitely would again!

Jk’s place was cozier than advertised in the pictures! We felt right at home and loved the space. Would definitely stay at jk’s place again if we’re in the area!

We had a great stay at Hayley’s Great vibe and well equipped It’s a fun area, and lots of great walks (if you like steep hills!)

Jeff and Irina were very friendly and responsive hosts. Jeff met us at check-in and showed us around the unit. The unit is quite large with two bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and a full kitchen. The space was new and clean, as advertised. The bed was comfortable and plenty of extra pillows, blankets, and towels were provided. We would stay here again in the future.

Myrna and Bruce's place, despite being a very reasonable distance from the main attractions we wanted to see in North L.A. (about 45 minutes to the Getty on the day we went), felt peaceful and safe. I slept comfortably on the sofa bed; we used the very up-to-date washer and dryer and availed ourselves of lovely coffee and biscuits. The bathroom was cosy, clean and very pleasant. We unfortunately didn't have the opportunity to meet Myrna and Bruce themselves, but they kept in close touch and kindly told us everything we needed. Entry and exit were easy and smooth. I recommend this place as a great base for exploring L.A. and environs if you have a car and are resigned to the inevitable distances!

We were very happy with this stay and with the host. Clear communication from the very beginning. The neighborhood was quiet when we stayed. Everything we needed was p,rovided and the space was VERY clean. We only wish we'd had time to explore the community more. It was new to us and looked interesting. It was Easter so the Mexican market and restaurant was closed but all reviews were good so we'll be back to try that. Camarillo is only 10 minutes away or so and we had the BEST breakfast at Old Town Cafe. We will stay again.

Phenomenal spot & really lovely hosts! Seriously so accommodating & attentive. I would 100% stay here again & if this spot is available you should grab it ASAP! Quiet neighborhood, nice little space.
