We were in town for the race and the location was perfect!! There is shopping literally around the corner and we felt safe and at home. If we were to come back to beautiful Virgina for anything we would absolutely try to snag this great place again. I didn't hear any of the people that were staying in the other units, so I would say it was quiet as well. The host was very quick to respond to any questions we had and recommend places to go as well. overall wonderful place to stay.

The home was beautiful and the amenities were great. The kitchen was fully stocked with supplies and spices. The home was very clean and very cozy. There is a neighboring town about 15 minutes away, so there were plenty of food and grocery options. It is a perfect remote get away.

We had a fantastic stay at Olde Beau, and Bryan was extremely helpful setting up our vacation and felt all of our needs would be meet. The neighborhood is beautiful and felt secluded among mountain views. We played a few rounds on the well groomed golf course.And enjoyed adventures at the near by Stone Mountain. The area has a lot to offer and explore. Highly recommend for a mountain escape.

We had an awesome stay at George's place! He was super friendly and always thoughtful and helpful when we had questions. The kitchen was really nice for us because we usually eat in for breakfast. The scenery around the house and the drive there is beautiful! We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic spot to spend the weekend. If you are hoping for peaceful stay, make sure to book here! Pamela thought of everything and had so many little touches that made the stay comfortable.

The place was open and cozy and on a quiet yet alive block of town. We are definitely coming back but have to know what brand are the bed sheets??

A beautiful location matched with a stunning condo. The back deck that has a gate so the dogs can hang out and explore, walkable and quiet. Not a lot close by so bring some food along. Great ambience with the fireplace and kitchen. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a nice overnight stay at Hilltop Hideaway. We’d originally planned on staying a few nights, but personal things cut our trip short so we just had a 1 nighter. This home was convenient, being just a few minutes from the interstate, but outside of the hustle and bustle making it a very peaceful, homey location. Super comfy beds and couch! Very responsive hosts AND they left the lights on for us due to a later arrival. We WILL be back for a longer stay soon. Very nice to get away for a short trip.

Great place with a stunning view. Very peaceful and lots to do. I rented cabin for end of year 2024-25 with my family and had a great time! We walked to the nearby creek & used the firepit, swings & did a lil exploring in the area. Wei was a great host, very attentive & communicative. I highly recommend this place.

Dave and Amy have created a tremendous getaway at the solitudes. We plan on returning regularly, if possible. Our stay put Radford on a list of places to retire we loved it so much!

What a great little hidden gem in Martinsville. Close to Uptown, restaurants, and roughly 15 minutes to Martinsville Speedway. The interior of the house was very decorated and made for a cozy stay. Look forward to staying there again.

We really enjoyed the Lilly Pad! It was private and delightful! The home was stocked with all we needed. The front and back yards are super for kiddos. We had a family corn-hole tournament and loved the board games! We had a last-minute cancel with the dog-sitter and Keith was super sweet with adding him to the reservation. We will be back for sure! We had a very comfortable four-night stay in this renovated, attractively decorated house. The mattresses and bedding were great, as were the showers with plenty of hot water and good pressure and lots of towels. The well-equipped kitchen with beautiful new appliances worked well for us and there was a coffee maker as well as a Keurig. Great WiFi and good AC/heating system. The living room was cosy for movie nights, and we especially enjoyed sipping wine from JOLO while sitting on the front porch. The location is near wineries, restaurants, thrift and consignment shops not only in Mount Airy but also Dobson and Elkin. It was perfect for a reunion of friends of long standing who only see each other once a year.

Perfect little cabin, secluded private, and felt like I was on a fishing trip

This was our first time staying in an Airbnb and the first time we visited SML. Our experience was great from our initial inquiry regarding boat launching, docking, and trailer storage at check-in to our departure 5 days later. Armand obtained the info and map links from the security office that we needed to launch the boat and store the trailer. which made it easy once we arrived. The view from the condo is beautiful any time of the day, but the view of the sunrise across the lake behind the mountain is absolutely stunning. We were very comfortable and felt at home during our stay. If you have a boat, bring it, you can’t beat waking down to the dock on this water playground with marinas, restaurants, beaches, and shops to visit. We’re looking forward to returning in the Spring.

We had a great stay at this beautiful, cozy condo! The views of Smith Mountain Lake were gorgeous, and we spent a lot of time just relaxing and taking it all in. The option to choose between the screened-in and open patios was so nice to have. The condo was very clean, and the area around it is beautiful—perfect for a quiet getaway. Leslie and Craig were responsive and helpful, especially when I needed to come back to grab a few things I left behind after check-out. We also appreciated the private dock box, which had nice camping chairs for sitting by the water and floats for swimming. The condo was cozy, with plenty of blankets to keep things comfortable. We hope to be back again!

You will be thrilled if you stay at Patricia’s condo. Amazing views of the lake! Comfortable bed, and she really puts wonderful touches throughout her place to make you feel at home. We will definitely be booking this condo again!

Top-notch hospitality! Alan & Corrine have their customer service and communication down to a science. They are incredibly responsive, proactive, and went above and beyond throughout the entire process. Before my stay, they even sent a detailed digital guide covering everything—check-in instructions, appliance usage, local recommendations, important contacts, the check-out process, and more! It made everything seamless and stress-free. The space itself was exactly what I was looking for—a peaceful retreat with a lovely view, yet still close to cute shops and yummy restaurants. I wanted a place where I could truly unwind, get creative, and recharge. I brought my watercolors and a record player, hoping to find an inspiring space & this was perfect for that! I honestly don’t think they could have done a better job. Every host should take notes from these two! Thanks so much! :)

There were more steps than I anticipated. We are both seniors and it was hard getting our luggage to the condo. But once there it was perfect. You can get sunrise pics but no sunset. The condo was just perfect. Everything needed was there. I would recommend to others.

We totally fell in love with Lauren's place! It was clean, peaceful, and beautifully decorated. This was our second visit to Smith Mountain Lake, as we are starting to get a feel for possibly retiring to that area. Lauren answered any questions we had quickly. We would definitely like to go back!
