Climate controlled! What is a Yurt? Yurts originated in Mongolia. The Mongolian people were nomadic, and they took their homes (yurts) with them as they tended to, and traveled, with their livestock. Rustic Divide, a 740sqft tiny cabin, offers a warm, rustic charm with stained cabinets and natural wood accents. The bright living room is bathed in natural light, leading to a fully equipped kitchen and a spa-like bathroom. The bedroom includes a queen-size bed with ample storage, while the loft upstairs features another queen bed and breathtaking canyon views. Outside, unwind on the private patio with a bistro table and grill, all set right on the rim of Palo Duro Canyon.

Chameleon: 2 room cabin, NO running water and no toilet facilities in the casita, sleeps 4, possibly 5, two (2) double beds in the bedroom, and a daybed for an extra person (for an added fee of $20.) Wood stove, hot plate & electric appliances for cooking. Open deck on the Pecos River! with an outdoor fireplace. Community bathhouse with commodes and showers, 300 feet from Chameleon. Some road noise can be heard, especially during peak travel times.

The Wallace Ranch Boxcar Bunkhouse is located on the Wallace Ranch 6 miles south of Canyon Texas. The 114 year old Boxcar Bunkhouse was restored and converted into a unique one of a kind property! We have hosted guests and large groups/families at the ranch for several years and with the addition of the Boxcar Bunkhouse we are excited to add another level of unique accommodations to the Panhandle area!
