I cannot say enough about the beauty of this location. The view is unbelievable. The house is so well sited to take advantage of the view. The porch is gorgeous and soaking tub is lovely. The house is glass on two sides to take full advantage of the view but also completely private. Modern decor with a serene and peaceful vibe. Isaac responded immediately to our questions when we arrived. Great weekend getaway. We will definitely stay here again!

Todo estaba super bien, muy bonito, la casa preciosa, muy limpia y ordenada, realmente cómodo. Por lo demás una experiencia formidable.

Guillermo was a great host. He met us at the gate and was very welcoming. His place is a fun quirky little place and his pride of ownership shows. The kitchen was well stocked and the La Hermosa town square, with a consistently good little restaurant La Cuchara de Lao, was a short walk away.

Metamorfinca is an absolutely stunning property that blends luxury and peaceful simplicity. We had multiple folks in our party. Our family of four stayed in Casa Cascada and our accompanying single guest stayed in a Jungle Pod. Casa Cascada is perfect for families or two couples. You will feel at home with all of the amenities you need in the kitchen (including fresh eggs from their farm), two bathrooms, and two well appointed bedrooms. There is a shared deck in the living area and an individual balcony off of each bedroom. Everyone can be together and yet have individual space to breathe. And the attention to detail in design is amazing, for those who appreciate such things. The Jungle Pod is awesome for 1-2 people. Again, beautifully designed and super functional and well equipped. And then there is all to enjoy on the property— a pool, hot tub, yoga shala, gardens, animals, river and more. We are so grateful for our time there and can’t wait to go back to continue the magic.

Excelente alojamiento en zona local, el mejor en que hemos estado durante nuestro viaje a CR. Como arquitectos hemos valorado mucho los detalles presentes en toda la estancia y sin duda repetiríamos. Muy recomendable

such a fun stay! I love uvita and this was a perfect place to relax near the beach and the pool area was a nice bonus. I appreciate the coffee and the kitchen so I could make my breakfast early and walk on the beach. very friendly and kind staff as well

Nos encantó el lugar. Muy comodo para mi familia que íbamos con niños y mascota. El acceso y el Riachuelo como tal es muy lindo. Y la cocina con esa vista y al aire libre preciosa. Nos encantó dormir con el sonido del agua corriendo. Recomendado Nos recomendaron lugares muy buenos para visitar. Esta zona tiene muchos lugares por conocer

El lugar está en una ubicación maravillosa. Tiene vista espectacular hacia las montañas por todas partes! Al entrar olía rico y a limpio. Todo estaba en su lugar y acomodado. Las camas súper limpias y cómodas, demasiado ricas! También la cabaña cuenta con chimenea y varios calentadores, eso fue demasiado util porque sí hace bastante frío. Y en general nos encantó poder descansar en el lugar, dormir, ver las estrellas y disfrutar el paisaje y lugar.

Costa Rica is more than just beaches & surfing. Ruben’s mountain cabin has beautiful views, a private “eco-spa” in the stream, and a swimming hole nearby, fruit trees, and birds of all kinds including Toucans. It’s a short walk to the market and bus stops, a 15 min trip to San Isidro by car or taxi, and a half-hour to Dominical. Days are hot and it gets cool at night, and it is always quiet, just the sounds of nature - reminds me of being at a cottage in Canada in summer.

This place was perfect! There is a steep walk to the cabin that may be difficult for some people, especially with luggage. But once you arrive at the top, the view is more than worth it! The shower had very hot water which was nice while in the cooler mountain climate. Juan Carlos even provided us with his own homegrown coffee for the morning. We would definitely come back!

I liked the location here as it’s just far enough from town to have enough quiet around you to enjoy some wildlife. I saw hummingbirds, toucans, monkeys from the patio. In the morning and evening I could hear the ocean waves. It’s about a 10 minute walk to town. Lizzet was very communicative, responding quickly. There’s no screens on the windows or AC. Overall, I had a good stay here.

Para mí que fui en moto fue complicado ya que hay pendientes bastante pronunciadas, hay que ir con buen vehículo. Fuera de eso, muy tranquilo, vistas preciosas y hasta cuentan con una soda que hace exprés cerca de la zona.

Einfaches, rustikales Haus. Sieht so aus wie auf den Fotos. Von der Strasse aus läuft man ca. 5 Minuten zum Haus. Gutes Wlan. Fantastische Aussicht und ruhig. Charles ist freundlich, hilfsbereit und gut erreichbar. Es lohnt sich mehrere Tage zu bleiben, weil die Region - vor allem für Naturliebhaber - viel zu bieten hat (diverse Wanderungen und Wasserfälle). Kontaktiert diesbezüglich Charlie.

Excellent bird viewing off the upper deck. We saw many different types of delightful birds throughout the day.

Nela&José place is amazing: the view and nature around, the cabin have everything you need, you could actually feel they have thought about every small detail, Jose was available for every question and answered immediately. we fall in love at this place and are grateful about the opportunity to stay in.

We had a wonderful time in “Cabana Los Monos”. Quite special to sit on the balcony with a cup of coffee and watching all the different kinds of beautiful birds and monkeys jumping around the trees right in front of you. Heather was very helpful with contact details for a taxi or a shuttle. Even though there is a bus stop right at the main road, where local buses stop, it is quite unpredictable when the bus arrives. So either take a taxi (heather can give you options) or make sure you have a car. Going to the beach is super easy though, just crossing the main road, across a small river (take waterproof hiking boots or sturdy sandals) and your right at the beach. We did find it nicer compared to the main entrance of the beach, because it is less touristy. If you want to, you can walk there to buy an ice cream or coconut. Overall a super nice place to stay in Uvita. Thankyou Heather for your hospitality!

I could not recommend Rita’s place more. We loved connecting with nature and walking to the beach every morning. Everything was set up beautifully and Rita provided an extensive list of local recs. The outdoor shower and sink was my favorite part! Uvita is now one of my favorite places on earth! Thank you for being such a wonderful host Rita.
