Beautiful place! So serene in the middle of a national park. We enjoyed taking a stroll down to the beach every day, looking for wildlife and ultimately relaxing. The house was perfectly clean and had everything we needed! The area had a lot to offer and we checked out some of places recommended to us which we enjoyed. This area has a lot to offer without feeling touristy.

Geweldig verblijf gehad. Vriendelijk ontvangen en leuk gekletst in de avond, we mochten nog gebruik maken van het zwembad, speciaal voor ons waren de watersproeiers in het zwembad aangezet. Heerlijk wakker geworden met tropische geluiden en fruit gekregen in de ochtend.

Our stay at this property was absolutely incredible, with a breathtaking view! The room was clean, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped. The concierge was welcoming, and we appreciated for a hot shower and fresh towels. The pool area was stunning and well-maintained.However, there are a few areas that could be improved. It good to have coffee or tea for guest, and we were surprised to find there was no iron. Additionally, some house rules were unexpected, such as the prohibition on drones and no BBQs, despite them being shown in the photos. Although the balcony is shared with other guests, we were fortunate to have it mostly to ourselves. The bar chairs on the balcony were not very comfortable, and there was only one patio chair for the two of us. We also felt a bit uncomfortable with the presence of several cameras on the property, including one right of our apartment. Despite these minor issues, our overall experience was fantastic! We would definitely stay again!

Ian's hotel is the perfect little spot in Dominical. Great location great pool great rooms. Great crowd. Ian himself is a cool guy and has fun plans to expand the place. Really looking forward to staying again sometime.

Pura Vida - Great host and location. Walkable to the beach and several restaurants. Calm oasis in the back yard, where we could see Tucans, howler monkeys and an array of birds! Host is very responsive and we also appreciated having air conditioning as well as a washer / dryer. Uvita is a great place to visit with a ton of fun activities, and having the small pool onsite was really nice to escape the hot midday sun. The full kitchen is also a bonus. Modern, easy - with good WiFi and a good host. The howler moneys did wake us up in the morning, but that was actually pretty cool alarm clock - although they sounded like a sick dog!!! We stayed at 3 places, all of which said you’d see moneys, never saw any and we saw them all from the comfort of the shaded porch here.

The place was brand new. Very clean and inviting. Local restaurants and beach are walkable. There is a local market on Wednesdays and Saturdays that we walked to as well and really enjoyed. Hosts were responsive and had great local food recommendations. Highly recommend!

Stop scrolling through listings and just book this place! Our week here was absolutely perfect. We wanted a place with a pool that was right on the beach...this was it! The garden outside the is absolutely fantastic. We saw sloths in trees right outside the villa. The living room and master bedroom both have beautiful folding wall-to-wall glass windows that can be completely opened during the cooler hours of early morning and late evening. The A/C in every room worked great and kept us cool. We loved cooking meals on the top-of-the-line appliances, both indoor on the stove and on the grill on the patio. The Sonos system with three separate zones is a really nice touch too. The included washer and dryer allowed us to only bring backpacks to Costa Rica for a week and a half. The concierge helped us with all of our questions and booking last minute excursions, and the owners were super fast to respond to a minor maintenance issue which ended up not even being a problem at all.

Great place to stay with beautiful views. A little difficult to get to, but we fully expected that. Was worth the drive up and down the mountain for a nice clean house in a quiet setting. Plenty of good restaurants near by. Would definitely recommend.

The house was 5 stars! Well equipped, beautiful views, we saw monkeys, birds, crabs. Loved the shower and bathroom windows view to the jungle. Forest was a great host and answered all of our questions.

This is a very special house. The decor just made us happy...a unique blend of modern concrete floors and counter tops and handmade rustic furniture, gorgeous art work and even a little deco thrown in. The location is brilliant, you can see the water in the distance and there are meters and meters of lush green pasture between you and the road. There is a fabulous small pool which is perfect for cooling down in (very) warm uvita. Excellent air in all the bedrooms. The main room is not AC-d, but this was fine with us. Everything cools down a lot at night. There is a small nice sandy beach in the front (not great for swimming as there are rocks farther out) and Natalia will tell you about a secret beach that is about a 15 minute walk away that is spectacular. No one was there while we were there and the beach is huge and perfect for body surfing. Wonderful pizza at Pizza Time and great meals at Aricari and Gusto (but Gusto is tricky to get to without 2x4). Loved every minute!

Big cabañas with AC, a pool and a shared kitchen which is great for communication and social contacts. Very nice hosts and family. Having a car is a plus due to the long road to the beach/supermarkt, but they rent bikes for a fair price, too.

I wasn't aware that the kitchen is shared but it was great! The hosts are really responsive and supportive and didn't have any troubles.

Great stay in a beautiful location! Our family felt right at home. Would definitely recommend unscented cleaning products be used as the home was overwhelmingly scented, such that we could not sleep in the master. Besides that, and a few other details that we shared with the very responsive host; we would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful macaws in the tree right outside the hotel! The owners are a very nice family and live on-site for support if needed. The communal kitchen was actually kept very clean, and each room has a designated section in the fridge and a box for non-refrigerated foods. The communal space was a nice way to meet others in the hotel. It isn’t a very walkable area, but that’s Uvita in general, so I’d recommend having a car or renting a scooter in the town (the hotel has plenty of parking spots). I worked remotely while there and the wifi was good for video calls.

Beautiful accommodations with gorgeous view! The whole property and pool are lovely! Stunning view of ocean from balcony where we also viewed many birds, capuchin monkeys, and heard howler monkeys in the evening. Beautiful Dominicalito beach just 5 minutes drive. Excellent communication with host, would definitely recommend!

If we could give the Macaws 10 stars we would. This is the best AirBnB and one of the best accommodation experiences that we have ever had. Our entire vacation was great, largely because of the Macaws. Yes, the beds, location and rooms are excellent but what sets the Macaws out is the outdoor kitchen/dining area. For travellers who wished to hang out there to share stories, a meal, play a game, etc. it was the perfect setting. If you didn't want to, you could stay in your room like any other place and no one would bother you. The pool was also nice and refreshing. Finally, on a few occasions we saw big Macaws in the almond tree. Thanks Victor and Family!
