Our stay in the Douglas Munro Suite, with its unique Coast Guard theme, was fantastic. The unit was generously sized and provided all the essentials, including a remarkably well-stocked kitchen – ideal for future meal prep. We found both the bed and couch very comfortable. The building also offered great amenities like a downstairs lounge, pool table, and laundry. The occasional evening bar with drinks and live music (ending at 8:30 pm) was a nice bonus. And the location? Absolutely perfect for walking to everything downtown. We highly recommend this spot and look forward to returning.

Although it was a short stay, the place was perfect for us. Clean, perfectly located for our needs, walkable eateries. Would absolutely stay again.

Great location. 1 block from the river where you can sit and watch the sky change at sunset. Restaurant and coffee shop and free gym access right next door. Place was comfortable and quiet.

Donnie's place is amazing. I have stayed here twice. The other time was in the "Secret Room". I will always look to see if Donnie's places are available when staying in Elizabeth City, NC. Great room on the first floor with pool table and USMC Memorabilia!

This is our favorite airbnb we’ve ever stayed at, and far exceeded our expectations! Donnie and Olivia were great hosts and have created such a fun yet relaxing atmosphere. The location was perfect for us needing to walk to different events in town while here for a wedding. We loved the Biergarten on the property and the Secret Room was perfect for just two of us. We can’t wait to come back! 😊

If you are headed to Elizabeth City, you have to stay at Harbour Place! It is immaculate, stylish, and walkable to everything in downtown. Michael is an exceptionally hospitable host. It was quiet and private as well. Slept like a dream. And he really has thought of everything. This Air BNB is top tier! Highly recommend.

Very tidy and lovely AirBnb apartment equipped with everything you need. Comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Anthony is a great host and responds very quickly if you reach out to him. We had a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Maureen's house. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, but also only 2 miles or less from popular restaurants. It was also very safe and convenient to ride bicycles down Church Street to downtown Elizabeth City for the start of the Cycle NC Coastal Ride event.

The River House was the perfect getaway for a month. The location is removed enough to feel peaceful and serene, yet a quick drive into town for groceries didn’t feel daunting. Some highlights: - The sunroom is a huge perk and we loved reading in there - Hosts provided lots of fun ways to enjoy the property and water - kayaks, floaties, outdoor seating, fire pit, etc - Joan is the nicest, friendliest point of contact. Couldn’t have asked for a better host - The entire house is super well stocked, including anything & everything you could need in the kitchen, tons of extra towels, and snuggly blankets to use on the couch

The house is nicely decorated and everything is in working order. James always responded quickly and sent us directions for the appliances. Beds were comfortable and we felt “at home.”. Our visit was cut short due to an accident and my sister and BiL had to move in to help out. James was flexible with our schedule and very understanding of our situation. Hopefully it will be available the next time I visit Elizabeth City.

We were so excited to have such a wonderful house for our long cycling weekend. Our group of nine adults had plenty of room and enjoyed the house’s many amenities: roomy kitchen, comfortable furniture, expansive backyard, and welcoming front porch. The house was exceptionally clean and newly renovated and all the beds were comfortable, Our host responded promptly and was accommodating. The location is excellent. We were able to walk to the downtown and its shops, bars, restaurants and waterfront.  We would stay there again in a heartbeat. 

This was just the getaway we needed. We were unfamiliar with the area, but wanted a quiet reprieve from the city that was near water and Nora and Alan's Airbnb provided on all fronts. Nestled right on the Albemarle, we could read and lounge with the sound of the water and birds as our backdrop. Up for some fun, we made good use of the bikes and kayaks during our stay. Fifteen minutes from nearby towns allowed for exploration of cultural and historical sites. A bit further away allows for daytrips to the Outerbanks and nature reserves. Ideally located to get up to as much or as little as your heart desires.

The house was clean and had all the basics we needed. Everything is mostly in good working order. A few small things needed fixing, but they did not affect our stay. The beds are comfortable, though on the soft side, so depends on one’s preference. The location is quiet on a well-lit street, but close to restaurants, coffee shops, and the waterfront. Overall, we had a great time and very much enjoyed our stay. We would definitely choose to stay here again. Thanks!

The condo is very nice, functional, and super well-equipped (it looks just like the photos). Brad is very attentive and responds quickly. The instructions for entering the apartment and for check-out were very clear and straightforward. The location is very close to the water park, and our kids loved visiting it. The only thing to keep in mind regarding the location is that it takes 22 minutes by car to get to the nearest beach, and approximately 30 minutes to get to the beaches in Duck

The best place we’ve stayed. Such a beautiful area. It’s the perfect getaway.
