We had a great time at Salma’s cabin! Everything was accurately depicted in the photos and between the included games and the hot tub we were able to spend an entire day just at the cabin. The location is excellent, you’re able to feel secluded but still close enough to Traverse City that you can run to town to grab a cup of coffee or a bite to eat. It’s a perfect location for checking out the city or exploring the wineries. Check in was easy and Salma was available should we have needed anything!

I booked this beautiful home after my first reservation and host cancelled on me due to the storms. Well, I can say… we are so happy with our stay. It was exactly as described and even better than expected. April really is a one of a kind host, so good that I had to take notes for my own Air bnb adventure. She thought of everything! I’ve never had a better stocked kitchen. We always cook and make a big meal and we sure did not want for anything. We were even greeted with a local baked good and extra sheets and blankets for the dogs. These hosts were the best I’ve had in Michigan, if not the whole country. I’m thankful for people who truly consider someone’s stay and thinks of it all. Thank you again to the hosts. The Cabin was spotless and one of my favorite features was the deer lights.

We had a lovely stay! The cottage was so cute and I just loved how they decorated it! We absolutely loved the hot tub and used it every day! We decided to walk down to the beach through all the snow, would love to stay in the summer when we can actually go swimming!! Ate at Peegeos twice during our stay, so close and so good, get the cheesecake! So delicious and made from scratch! We will definitely be back!

I asked my 9, 8 & 5 year old about the best part of our stay, and they all agreed that the hot tub, fire pit for s’mores and the board games were the best part. I enjoyed having a quiet space to get homework done with a view of the water. This was the perfect get away for a family of 5! We enjoyed staying inside, cooking meals & enjoying the house itself. It is beautiful inside and out, exactly like the photos and had everything we needed for our stay. We can’t wait to come back during the summer time to go out on the lake!

This cottage was perfect! It was warm, quiet, cozy and clean! The cottage had everything we needed, INCLUDING COFFEE, laundry soap, dish soap and many extras! The hot tub stayed hot even after a couple hours open in the cold. The bed and pillows were amazing. We never closed a curtain, it was so private and quiet! Would definitely stay here again!

The host was very friendly and quick responding. Location is beautiful. Cool little cabin on the lake. Very well stocked with utensils, glassware, and games.

Dreamy house in a dreamy location. Had a phenomenal weekend in northern Michigan admiring the fall colors, and this house was the perfect place to enjoy it from. Inside and outside, we enjoyed all of the amenities and cute decor. Compared to similar properties we've stayed at in the area, the rate and cleaning fee are a little steep, but if you can swing it, you won't regret it. Highly recommend.

Had a great weekend getaway at this cute, clean cabin! Parking is limited but we had no issues as we only had a truck and enclosed trailer. Firewood included, coffee and few snacks provided. Host was very responsive and friendly.

This is a gem!! Loved our stay. Perfect location to wineries, restaurants, shopping, and beach! Great farm and open areas to walk our dogs. Definitely will be back!!

This was our first repeat Airbnb experience, we enjoyed Laurie’s place that much! It’s peaceful and the lake is lovely, no matter the time of year. Close to Short’s brewing and Schuss mountain, not far from Boyne, it’s quiet but still well located to have a great up north adventure. It’s also well stocked with toys and books, which is a great plus for our family! And Laurie is super responsive and kind. We might stay a third time!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Eric’s place! It was a mild weekend for Michigan winter, and we enjoyed cross country skiing at the nearby XC Headquarters and a delicious dinner at the Cut River Grille. The living room was comfy for a game night with our travel companions. Eric was easy to contact and the place was a perfect cozy cottage for our weekend! The little touches for hospitality, like having the driveway plowed/salted, coffee filters, extra new toothbrushes, and extra blankets were greatly appreciated. Looking forward to our next trip up north!

We had a wonderful time in Charlevoix! The house was perfect for two people plus a dog! The backyard was amazing and private, and the location was perfect to walk downtown and through the neighborhood. Oksana was very helpful and friendly, we loved the fresh bread and eggs for breakfast, and recommendations of nearby places to go. We’re hoping to come back again. Great place!

The cottage was nice and cozy and we had a wonderful time and our pup loved it too! Close to everything and very convenient. Nikki, the host, was wonderful and we had a wonderful stay!

Our car broke down on our way up North so we got to the house very late with no food or water because stores were closed and luckily this house had everything we needed and was so clean and cozy! We enjoyed every room and played lots of games and built a fire everyday. The guidebook was also so helpful! We enjoyed this house so much and would love to come back and stay at Darcy’s again. One of my favorite stays, thank you so much!!

Nancy was very friendly and responsive when I had questions. Her place is very cute and close to the activities we wanted to do, skiing, hiking, rock hunting and good restaurants. I highly recommend!

We had an amazing family vacation at the “Beach House”. My family loved this area on Long Lake. The beach is very private , and we used it everyday. The beach also has a small fire pit, with a larger fire area up by the cabin. It’s a 16 minute drive into Cheboygan. Where their are many shops, and Restaurants. Cheboygan also has a beautiful trail system, with the Trail Head right in town. Our daughter ran on this trail at least three times while we were here. Makinaw City, and the Makinaw Bridge, are only 30-35 minute’s away.

We were so pleasantly surprised by the quaint, quiet, beautiful cottage nestled in the woods amongst the surrounding homes. It was so homey, and the 3 season porch was absolutely amazing! By far, the value and location for our 3 night, 4 day getaway was wonderful and exactly as we had hoped:) Thank you so much for sharing your cottage with us, and if your looking for an amazing 5 star host and wonderful place to stay... look no further!

Probably the best Airbnb experience we have ever had. John and his wife were kind and quick to respond to our questions. While they live on the property, we did not see them at all during our stay. The water front makes it extremely enjoyable and the lake is quiet. They checked in with us and always made sure we had everything we needed. We will absolutely be back to this rental, hopefully for longer next time!
