Gastenverblijven in Phewa Lake

This really is a hidden gem. Tucked in the hills, away from the hustle of Lakeside but close enough to get a quick taxi into town, it's a little oasis of calm. Laxman and his family are fantastic hosts and we were well looked after throughout our stay, so much so we booked another room straight away for the second part of our trip.

Stunning views and very peaceful area. I stayed 2 nights and it was a great and super relaxing retreat from the city hustle. The room is basic but there are plenty of terraces to hang around and hikes to points of interest. *One thing for the to note though is the pillows and linen had very strong oldish smell but I had some incenses with me so that worked out nicely

(필요시엔 언제든 도움을 줍니다) 있는 동안 늘 뜨거운 물이 풍족했고, 바로 앞에 마켓이 있어 필요한 물품을 사기도 편합니다. 신선하고 건강한 어머니의 유기농텃밭에서 막 수확한 야채도, 어머니가 아침저녁으로 직접 짠 우유도 합리적인 가격에 이용할 수 있습니다. (+최신식 세탁기도 소정의 비용을 내고 사용 할 수 있습니다. 숙박기간 내에 손빨래에서 해방되었어요!) 아이를 사랑하는 선생님 산젯과 자애로운 마마.파파 덕에 우리 가족은 편하고 즐거운 메틀랑의 생활을 하였습니다. 위쪽으로 15분 정도 걸어가면 네팔MG들의 핫플레이스 메틀랑 뷰포인트가 나옵니다. 산책하기 참 좋습니다! 숙박기간 내 많은 친절과 배려를 받다 갑니다. 그의 가족 모두에게 신의 가호가 있기를! 나마스떼! 다음에 또 볼 수 있는 기회가 오길...!!!

KB was very quickly responsive to questions and requests. He purchased our bus tickets for us saving us a trip to the bus park the day before leaving. The room is easy walking distance to the main Lake Drive road and the pedestrian walkway along the shore. After dark, it is a bit scary walking home long the narrow, curving road with lots of traffic. There were, however, usually quite a few people walking along the road in the dark so I guess the local drivers are used to dodging the tourists. On our last night, KB's wif cooked Veg Dahl Bhat for us and it was delicious!! Truly one of the best meals we had during our 2.5 months in Nepal.

It was a wonderful stay for my family of 8 with warm and friendly environment. Host was always responsive and ready to help in every ways he can . We checked in very early still he courteously offered to pick us up despite of odd timing. Overall it was indeed a wonderful stay, very close to the lake and safe too.
