The house was spacious for the two of us. Really cute decor and super comfortable bed.

Really enjoyed this property and Jason was an outstanding host, always responsive and helpful. A lot to do in the area for someone who likes wine and the outdoors, especially enjoyed the Carter Falls trail. To me, the best feature of the property was the deck with the hot tub and incredible view. The inside was clean and comfortable with a lot of amenities. Easy drive to restaurants. Doordash is available, but driveway is a little hard to find until you know where it is. My Doordash delivery never arrived. Overall, I highly recommend this property.

Great cabin! Very clean. Private, yet close to restaurants and stores!

All I can say is wow! This home is the perfect vacation spot!! A ton of privacy, very clean and plenty of yard for your fur baby to run around! We saw so much wildlife which was really exciting! The blackstone griddle was perfect for cooking breakfast and dinners! Plenty of towels to enjoy many soaks in the hot tub and enough for showering. I will absolutely rent here again as it is perfect! About a 25 minute trip to Mt. Airy which has all of your restaurant and grocery needs. thank you Balager for sharing such a incredible getaway! We cannot wait to return!

This cabin was a perfect weekend getaway. It was pretty private and the trails and creek were lovely. The hot tub was nice to relax in and the location of the cabin made it easy to visit some local wineries. We hope to be back soon!

This was one of my favorite Airbnb. Not only was this a last minute booking and the hosts were very accommodating, it was clean and peaceful. The cabin is everything you could want in a mountain get away.

This place never fails. my kids play and float in the creek, we grill out, have dodge ball and wiggle ball competitions in the big open field.

This stay was amazing! The views are breathtaking, no matter the weather! There were plenty of deer and baby bunnies to keep me entertained. The home is very relaxing, the neighbors are friendly and quiet. Paula was a great host! This location is perfect for visiting Stone Mountain NC and Grayson Highlands VA state parks- highly recommended!!

Stayed at the A Frame for a birthday weekend getaway. Easy to find, comfortable beds and nice clean bathrooms, beautiful scenery, and lots of places to sit, which is important for a family of 5! We enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine and lounging inside. We drove about 30 minutes to Westfield for a scenic, delicious birthday dinner at Big Creek Lodge Restaurant. Close by is Hanging Rock State Park and we hiked to the top and to the upper cascade falls. Then we enjoyed ice cream at the Front Porch Creamery. We stopped by Priddy’s General Store that’s been there for 100 years and chatted with the owner. We ate dinner at El Cabo, also nearby and delicious. Fire wood was provided for the fire pit, where we told stories and drank hot chocolate under the lights. On our way out of town, we drove to the top of Pilot Mountain and hiked a bit then stopped at Aunt Bea’s BBQ for lunch. Looking forward to coming back to explore more of this area of NC. Thank you, Jordan and Spencer!

This was one of our favorite stays. It’s so peaceful and Vicky has thought of everything to make this a comfortable stay. We enjoyed listening to the birds and the rushing stream. We roasted weenies at the fire pit and enjoyed coffee in the morning on the porch. After a long day of fly fishing we had fresh towels and a comfy bed. We look forward to making many more memories at Vicky’s place!

Great place! Quiet, peaceful, and a nice base camp for exploring the Roanoke area. We had a wonderful timw, and the host was quick to respond to questions (mainly asking about background of the cabin and area). No issues, wonderful place! Highly recommend it!

Our stay at Finn’s Folly was fantastic, we wish it could have been longer. Kathryn is a great host, even leaving us some fresh eggs to enjoy! We’d gladly stay again.

This was exactly what I needed. The cabin was easy to find for how peaceful it was. It is not too far from town so making stops at local stores and restaurants was a quick trip up the road. Unfortunately the blue ridge parkway was closed during our visit but I was shocked to see when leaving the property we were only two right turns from it. It is in such a great location, tucked away but not too far from everything. The cabin itself was just as the pictures showed, there was plenty of space to stretch out in between our planned activities. You can tell the cabin was well maintained and kept clean. The recommendations left on the counter in the kitchen for local restaurants served us well, as well as the maps left us in a great spot for choosing our daily adventures! All in all when I plan on coming back up to the area I will definitely be checking here to see if the cabin is available again so that I know I have somewhere safe, secure, and private in the area to rest my head.

It’s no wonder Patty & Tom have such stellar reviews! Their cabin is one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in! Close to all Floyd has to offer, everything was meticulously thought of: fully stocked kitchen, extra blankets, water & snacks, and little touches -as a woman I really appreciated. I worked from the cabin the entire week, as the desk was the perfect spot to hold meetings and enjoy the view of the snow falling as well as the fireplace in the living room. Our bedroom was cozy, the period furniture all about the cabin adding a sense of whimsy. Each evening we cooked in the spacious, well equipped kitchen and enjoyed our meals at the dining room table. Best of all, Patty and Tom are gracious, kind, and the kind of hosts that Airbnb should strive for. We look forward to visiting Patty, Tom, and the Cabin again!

Amazing and YES, cozy but not small country cottage! Beautiful Natural and well kept outdoors. Many sitting and dinning areas. inside provided tremendous light, many windows, Amazing space and separation of sleeping areas and very private bath. Kitchen perfectly laid out with much space for multiple cooks. Clean, private, quite and indoor bug free environment. Two perfect fire pits; one secluded for privacy and another perfect for gatherings. Perfect ambience. We felt we were home away from home. We had last minute request and Michelle was flexible, accommodating and went beyond host duties to fulfill our unusual needs. We will definitely return for another country cozy get away. Check in/out instructions were clear and minimal. Thank you for an amazing getaway! Look for us to return. We will definitely tell our friends!

The Floyd EcoVillage cabin was the perfect fit for me. I needed a peaceful place to decompress, but wanted to be close to town for restaurants, etc. It was cozy, quiet, comfortable, and convenient--exactly what I needed!

We had an awesome time in and around the cabin. The creek flowing created a beautiful atmosphere throughout our stay.

The cabin is so secluded. At night we heard nothing but wildlife. It was so quiet we could hear the Mayo river even though it was a half mile away. Anytime I can get somewhere where there is next to no cell phone service, I am happy. It was a nice short walk to the rapids and my family spent most of the day there.

Love this little place hidden in the woods, away from the hustle and bustle. Quiet and comfy, perfect location to just BE. February weather being what it is, we spent most of our time indoors with a fire in the cozy woodstove. Our original plan was for me to spend days in town for an assignment but when it fell through, well, the change in plans was everything I didn't know I needed. Our communication was fabulous - very responsive and helpful with all of my questions.

cutest little cabin right on the creek next to the mountains. Everything you could want is about 15-20 into town.
