The house is spacious and sufficiently furnished. It’s in a back alley and this way mostly quiet. Not very central so a motorbike rental is recommended, one bike is included with the place. Enjoy the local food just a few doors down which is a hidden treasure. Great for a few nights stay, easy communication. Be aware that the mattress is on the harder side, if your sensitive for that.

Anfitriona muy amable y encantadora. Fácilmente accesible. La casa es como en las fotos. Muy amplia y agradable. Lo único malo es que está lejos de todo, incluso para tomar un café por la mañana. Es verdad que un grab cuesta 1,3 euros a la marina, donde hay más vida, pero hay que saber que no tienes nada cerca para ir. La nevera tenía cervezas y cocacolas y agua (gran detalle) y había té para hacer así como algo de comida. La casa es cómoda hasta para 6 personas.

Everything was perfect, very well located with many shops around and the motorbike rental is very cheap. Xuân is very nice and helpful. The vegan restaurant is also great!

We had an amazing stay! The host went above and beyond—she picked us up from the bus station, let us rent a motorbike directly from her, cooked rice for us, and even helped with our laundry. She is incredibly kind and made us feel truly welcome. The house itself is spacious, well-equipped with everything you might need, and very comfortable for remote work. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a cozy, hassle-free stay with a wonderful host!

We had a great stay on the Island of Cat Ba. The accommodation had everything we needed to be comfortable including a washing machine which was helpful when travelling light. Minh provided lots of information on what was available to us on the island. The previous guests left early so my husband and grandson were able to get in early. They arrived around 8:30 am after a 12 hour bus ride from the Northern part of Vietnam so they really appreciated getting early admittance. The home was very colourful and had a front veranda which was a perfect place to unwind after a day of activity. My husband appreciated being able to rent a motorcycle at the homestead which made our stay even more enjoyable, as we were able to get around the island on our own. The AirBnB is off the beaten path but not far from the waterfront. There was ample space for several guests and I would definitely recommend for a family or group of friends. Amazing! You can rent motorbikes from the stay which is ideal for getting around Cat Ba. The breakfast is lovely and the dinner options were really good. Also, upon arrival we mentioned wanting to do a boat tour, and he presented us all different possible types of tours. We told him which one we wanted to do and he prepared everything for us; from the taxi to the boat, to the tickets of the tour, and even the taxi back. After our stay in Cat Ba we booked a bus to another city leaving from Cat Ba center. He arranged that the bus picked us up from the gate of the stay, allowing us more time to pack and relax instead of having to first take a taxi to the place of departure of the bus. Aside from this the rooms were beautiful, with good airconditioning, and a very nice bathroom. Everything was wonderful! We strongly recommend :)

excellent location and service!

We had such an amazing stay at the Blue Lagoon. The location is set back from the main road and very peaceful. Hai is an incredibly thoughtful and responsive host - it was my partner’s birthday and he made us cocktails on the house and helped us to order takeaway to eat at the Airbnb (we loved the setting so much we wanted to have birthday dinner in)! When it rained overnight he left an umbrella outside our cabin for us and when we wanted coffee the morning we were leaving he made them for us on the house as we had already paid. The coffee is incredible and Hai gave us a tutorial of how to make it ourselves when we get round to buying our own filter. The dog and cats are gorgeous and so friendly, we miss them already. The only issue we had was with the sewage smell from the bathroom, which other people have previously commented on. Despite this we thoroughly recommend staying here!
