Convenient to I40, just 17 min from the airport, 13 min (6 miles) to downtown, 15 min to Biltmore, 15 min to UNCA, 17 min to the arboretum and 10 min to happening Haywood Rd. Clean, comfortable and stylishly funky with all new beds and mattresses, wifi, roku TV, a lovely porch for sitting and even small fire pit in back. Located on our small farm in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, we are a perfect launching point for adventure. Lake James and the Linville Gorge are only 20 minutes away, Asheville 45 minutes, and Charlotte only an hour. Explore countless waterfalls, miles of trails, or kayak our beautiful rivers during the day, and relax in the hot tub and shoot pool in the evening.

Welcome to our little Beech Mountain, NC Funkadelic Hideaway Chalet! Let me give you the skinny on this 1973 Bertoli and Brady octagon pedestal kit home. You’ll go back in time to this homage to the 70’s ski chalet lifestyle! With 3 acres to explore and plenty of games, puzzles, and other distractions, any group will think it is “Dy-no-mite” without being over the top. There is a queen bed in either of the bedrooms and a full pull out couch to choose from for sleeping.

Though you will feel you are remote, you will be only 15-20 minutes from downtown Asheville, Biltmore, Black Mountain, multiple breweries and restaurants. The Blue Ridge Parkway and Mountains to Sea Trail will be literally right out the door. The yurt has a 30 foot diameter making it a little over 700 sq feet.

The yurt features central air conditioning and heat, washer and dryer and an in-room safe is provided as well.
