I knew the house would be rustic, so I brought my camping gear. I did not need them. The kitchen was well equipt. I could cook anything I needed to make on the hot plate or in the microwave/toaster. There was also a smoker and like 5 BBQs. Do not be worried about cooking. The location is awesome. It is so close to so many things.. or you can just hang out on the property. We spent a day on the property and a day exploring. We spent every night in the hot tub. It was glorious. The bed is very comfortable!

We loved our stay at Zach’s place in Nevada City! The studio was exactly as described, had everything we needed and was very cute and cozy. Zach and Tina were quick to respond to any questions and offered several tips for things to do in the area. We loved how easy it was to walk into town. We had a great time and would stay again in the future!

Carol’s space was so cute and serene. The garden outside of the Inkling is so beautifully done and such a nice view to wake up to when opening the window panes. The inside was tastefully decorated, linens felt nice and clean and cozy, and we slept well each night! The surrounding neighborhood proved to be a very nice area to stroll and see wildlife (deer, bats, snakes!) and a 10-15 minute drive to any stores, coffee shops, etc. A wonderful getaway if you’re okay with not walking to restaurants/shops - the trade off is tranquility and nature, and it was so worth it! I really love this city and so happy to have found a cute little place to come back to. Everything was perfect. It was a great stay and I would come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy private studio! Despite a winter storm, it felt like a magical winter wonderland. The location is great, with grocery stores, cafes, and restaurants nearby, plus the lake and town are just a short drive away. Merick was a fantastic host, checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend for a cozy retreat!

Jennifer’s place was the perfect getaway for the weekend! Very cute, clean room in a beautiful area and close to plenty of activities and restaurants. Jennifer had lots of local recommendations that we checked out. She was communicative and accommodating. Will definitely book again!

Randy’s space was perfect for my husband and me as we visited with my aunt for her 80th birthday. It was close to her, and all the amenities we needed yet quiet and private. The outside space was lovely for sitting and having a glass of wine in the evening. It was also an easy walk to downtown for restaurants.

Jacqui und Paul sind wunderbare und herzliche Gastgeber. Das Riverstay ist wundervoll. Es hat eine gut funktionierende Heizung, es war trotz eines Kälteeinbruchs sehr sehr warm, das sagt eine Frostbeule, die ihre Wärmflasche nicht nutzen musste, was an ein Wunder grenzt. Es gibt nichts was nicht vorhanden ist, vom Salz bis zur Bodylotion ist alles vorhanden. Sehr bequeme Betten und absolute Ruhe. Alles ist geschmackvoll und penibel sauber. Obwohl die Gastgeber selbst im Haus wohnen ist die Privatsphäre völlig gewahrt. Danke für fantastische Tage.

Honestly, I’ve stayed at Airbnbs since 2014 and Kelsey’s place was one of the best experiences I have ever had to date. Every little detail was so thoughtful and special from the surprise fresh breakfast to the fresh cookies and snacks. It was beautiful too. I love this place and definitely Riley will recommend it to others and will be back!

Sam was very communicative and it was very easy to find with their instructions. Plenty of parking on the street in March. This room was exactly what was advertised - it's a very simple room and we appreciated the way it was priced in order to enjoy Nevada City without breaking the bank. There is a kitchenette that also helped with breakfasts and dinners in the room. Expect the basic amenities to make a meal. It is a fine place to end of the day after adventures. Easy to get to downtown Nevada City and to Grass Valley. My Mom is in her 70's and just know that the stairs and walk are a little steep , just something to note if you have older folks with knee or hip issues in the party. And as noted the ceilings are low. The wall heater keeps everything toasty and Sam gives instructions ahead of time on how to use it. Just keep it started at .5 and then go up to 1, then 2, etc. Overall, we had a great time without breaking the bank and it was easy to stay and to get around town.

Jenny's place was perfect for me and my little dog. We loved the walking paths and the friendly neighborhood. It's just a five-minute drive into town so very convenient. I will happily stay at Jenny's again.

The host was super friendly, responsive and helpful. Even though we only rented the top floor of the place, it still felt very private. Everything was clean and easy to find. The place was walking distance to my relative’s house so it was extremely convenient. Will be renting there in the future if they allow me to.

We were visiting family, so we just needed a small, clean place with a bed. And maybe a small kitchenette. This checked all the boxes and we would stay again.

Wendy and Carlos were wonderful hosts. They were very hospitable and kind. Great to talk to as well, you can tell they love people and take great pride in hosting. Highly recommend their place.

Great spot right near downtown! Clean space and lovely little backyard space with it. We had our one year old with us so I felt a little bad during her fussy hours when I realized it shared a wall with someone’s home. Would stay again for any event in downtown Lincoln!

This was my 2nd staying at The Love Shack (my husband was with me the first time and he wants to move in!) We love how close to main street it is and are always super impressed with the newly remodeled bathroom and kitchen! The kitchen has everything you need to cook all meals (no oven, but that wasn't an issue). We love that it is like a fabulous hotel room with a full kitchen and lovely little dining room, but completely private and a wonderful back yard to relax in. And did I mention full kitchen for all your meals?! Thank you Trish! It was lovely meeting you on my way out and thank you again for the use of your ladder at my friend's house down the street.

My best friend and I really enjoyed staying in this beautiful home. The country scenery was absolutely stunning. Very quiet, very clean and was exactly what we needed for our stay! Thank you again! I would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay here in Roseville! The host was so kind, responsive, and accommodating. The home was spotless, smelled amazing, and had so many thoughtful touches — like toiletries we actually needed! Both TVs were smart TVs, which we enjoyed, and the space itself just felt cozy, welcoming, and truly like home. My boyfriend and I even said we would love to live in a place just like this one day. Even though it wasn’t super close to where we needed to be, it was so worth it. Would 100% stay here again — such a special find!
