This stay was absolutely the most beautiful and serene experience ever. Me and my partner felt so welcomed by Leif and felt so grateful to have a nice atmosphere and host! We can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay in this wonderful cozy well stocked cabin. It had everywhere needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway:from and amazing hot tub, fully stocked kitchen comfy beds and thoughtful touches throughout. The peaceful setting made it easy to unwind. I especially loved the espresso machine. We highly recommend for anyone looking to escape and recharge!

Gary’s place is incredible. We had the most fantastic snowy spring break! Gary’s communication was amazing since the day I booked the cabin, including clear instructions for check in, check out, and getting the most out of the cabin. He and his team went above and beyond to make me and my family feel welcome at the cabin and comfortable in Camp Connell. We enjoyed sledding in the backyard (Gary provided sleds!), building a snowman (Gary provided a kit with top hat, scarf, etc!) and baking cookies in the well appointed kitchen. We played MANY board games from Gary’s extensive collection and many games of shuffleboard. The large bathtub upstairs was a hit with my daughters. I should note that the water pressure in the shower upstairs was amazing, with ample hot water! (This isn’t always the case at rentals!) All in all we could not have asked for a better stay and most certainly hope to return to this cabin!!!!

There was a variety of snacks that were left for us, which was very appreciated. Also the hot tub was the star of the show! The place is clan and it comes with everything that I could think of. Highly recommend.

We would definitely return to this beautiful and comfortable home in the mountains. It is very secluded and at a lower elevation so road conditions, traffic, crowds, etc. were not an issue. Still, we were so close to skiing, lakes, hiking trails, Kirkwood, Tahoe, etc. that we could choose a new activity each day. Spacious kitchen and big table for game nights too. Loved it and hope to go back!

Place was very clean, well organized, comfortable and very well maintained. Place is very spacious no clutter at all. Has many boardgames to use with family, hot tub and out doors furniture was very much appreciated. If visiting during snow season they have extra sleds which very much appreciated. Had a great time with my family and hope to be able to book again in the future

Our visit was such a beautiful stay. Our entire family, including our pets enjoyed the home and its amenities. It offered deck with grilling and outdoor seating for breakfast or coffee. The yard below offers fire pit with tree stumps surrounding it for s’mores. Behind the home is a clean and well maintained hot tub that the teens enjoyed. It’s very peaceful and quiet at night. The home has a great layout with well kept furniture and appliances that all functioned. The bedding felt like hotel quality and towels, as well. The hosts were great in keeping a well stocked home with everything we needed for cooking, cleaning, and even a thoughtful welcome basket with coffee pods! Overall, fantastic stay. We ventured to hike at Hazel Meadow to see the waterfall. A breathtaking hike around Jenkinson Lake.

Stayed 5 days for our 46 year wedding anniversary had a blast loved how comfortable we were and how nostalgic all the decorations were. Had a 1960 Tailgate for the bed headboard and lots of Placerville and area history signage and literature. Loved it

This cabin is just as beautiful as the photos. We had a wonderful stay here for our ski trip in Kirkwood. This stay is a steal for the price and my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Thank you so much Ge for a great experience!

This is our second time spending time st this spot and again, this place has been great to my family. instructions are detailed, hosts are responsive if needed. home was clean on arrival and it was a pleasant time here. For new folks coming, stores aren't as near so do stock up on essentials or anything you think you can use. This will come handy. I look forward to more weekend gateways here when possible.

We had a wonderful time at Kennan’s property! Even though it was raining we were able to take an awesome hike to Lovers Leap. We were also fortunate to be here for the opening of the adorable coffee shop and bar just down the road! (Walking distance). We lived the kitchen table for playing our favorite board games. And they even had a great selection of games to choose from! The beds were very comfortable. We would stay again!

We did a mini staycation for Spring Break and had a very relaxing time! We didn’t need to go anywhere after we bought groceries. This place has everything! Hot tub, fire pits, tons of board games, arcade! My 2 boys, 15 and 11 had a blast and my husband and I got to take it all in and relax as well. Highly recommend!! I had some questions here and there and Misti would answer them lickity split! Awesome host!

Just as described. A peaceful getaway. A great space for families. Well stocked kitchen. Very clean. A few bugs but nothing out of the ordinary for being in a wooded area. Comfortable furniture inside and out. Mattresses are firm. Great suggestions for food and activities near by, but mostly just stayed in the cabin and enjoyed the peace and quiet. My children and I all really enjoyed our stay!

We loved our stay, the cabin is in a great location close to Calaveras Big Trees State Park and the town to go out to eat or get supplies at the grocery store.

My second time visiting Arnold and had an amazing stay here. The house is beautiful and we felt right at home! Plenty of space/beds for everyone. We’d love to stay again!

Amazing stay at Kristianne’s - sheets and towels felt luxurious and definitely got the cabin feel we wanted. Cozy stay with fuzzy blankets for the living room, very quiet surroundings. and amazing water pressure in the bathroom. Place was spotless, would definitely come again. Great location for Bear Valley and Calaveras State Park.

I have stayed here multiple times and always have had a great experience. It’s a beautiful property with the full cabin in the woods experience. A beautiful night sky with the sound of nature. I highly recommend!

This cabin is awesome. The peaceful wooded surroundings are great, the fireplace is nice and comfy, and there’s plenty to do inside the cabin.

Trina’s place is SO pretty in the rooms, great quality comfy beds and blankets. The house is decorated with extraordinary taste and so cozy. The kitchen is on the hall way and pretty tight with pretty old cabinets and drawers, but the pots and pans are also of great quality. The only challenge is there’s no dishwasher so next time if we stay we probably will not try to cook in that kitchen. I love the water filter ready for use there, one of the most important must haves for our family.

I had a fantastic stay at Melissa and Amy’s cozy cabin in Arnold. The place was perfect for a relaxing getaway, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere. Melissa and Amy were exceptional hosts, always responsive and accommodating. The cabin was spotless and well-equipped, making me feel right at home. The surrounding area was beautiful, providing the perfect backdrop for a peaceful retreat. I highly recommend this charming cabin and look forward to returning in the future!

Great cabin for my family to stay at while skiing at Bear Valley! It was clean, well furnished, and had fast WiFi.

It was fantastic staying at Markus and his family's place! We greatly enjoyed the quiet surroundings within the forrest. Driving over to Bear Valley was very easy. All around a great experience, and want to highlight that besides Markus being a very responsive and helpful host, we found their home to be pristinely clean!

Nice house in forest setting close to hwy 50 and El Dorado National Forest. Private but a little too close to the highway. You can hear traffic if sitting outside but not from inside and you can't really see the cars because of all the beautiful trees surrounding the house.
