This is a 2,900 sq foot home, with multiple areas for groups to spread out and relax. From the open living area with a wood burning fireplace to the large kitchen, cozy loft, game room, and private office. Bedrooms include a bunk room, two main level / easy access rooms, and extra sleeping in the game room. Kids love the bunks, PS5, and pool table room!

The cottage has a full kitchen and is very suitable for families with children of all ages. Enjoy the outdoor sitting & dining areas, the hanging hammock and the friendly dogs & cats. Book our renovated 3BR+2BA cabin for your Tahoe getaway! Located on the North shore in Tahoe Donner, we are a short drive from downtown Truckee. Donner Ski Resort is <5 minutes from the front door or drive 20 mins to Northstar, Alpine or Squaw. Donner Lake (with private access) is just down the hill or stay close to home and enjoy guest access to Donner’s amazing amenities; golf course, equestrian center, tennis, biking/hiking trails and gym with year round heated pools and hot tubs.

Welcome to your sunny home in the beautiful Tahoe Truckee Sierras! Tahoe Donner is a fun-filled community with many activities and a Rec Center with hot tubs, sauna, pools, tennis, pickleball, bocce, and a full gym - a cozy, comfortable haven to relax after a day in the mountains or at the lake. Guest passes provide access to private amenities, however, some Tahoe Donner amenities charge a separate daily fee set by the HOA (for example, the Rec Center is about $30 per person/day).

Base Camp for Your Next Tahoe Adventure

Welcome to Base Camp! Our cozy studio (308 SF) is located in the Tahoe Donner Lodge Condominiums. The Lodge HOA is less than 50 yards from the Tahoe Donner downhill ski resort - consistently voted as the best place to learn how to ski. Alder Creek Adventure Center (cross-country skiing, hiking, biking) is less than a mile away. A private parking lot is available for our guests. Please note that our condo is not appropriate for more than two guests, including children of any age.

Our home is a wonderful getaway for families looking to enjoy all Tahoe Donner has to offer. The house can be enjoyed all year-round, with easy access to downhill and cross-country skiing in the winter, and Donner Lake and many hiking and biking trails in the summer. Enjoy a BBQ on the deck and relax on the outdoor seating area in summer. In winter, enjoy epic sledding or have a snowball fight in the backyard.
