A block from the beach, this cute 330sf cabin has everything! The ' Book Nook' is perfect for summers by the beach or snuggling up with a book on rainy days. Built in bookshelves contain an array of books to unwind with, teach you, or feed your curiosity. The kitchen is well equipped and we have the 'Covid Cleaning' down now. Our "gite" is a self-contained 2 bedroom cottage in the most beautiful part of Salt Spring, the south eastern tip, near Ruckle Park. From our cottage, you can walk to this historic working farm and park, explore its forested trails, and then head to the many beach areas a short distance away. Visit farm stands and take the Studio Tour. Take a dip in one of many lakes. Climb Maxwell Mountain or stroll through the Saturday Market and other unique shops. Salt Spring is a true one of a kind.

Galiano Cabin Hideaway

The cabin has a double bed plus a twin size guest bed on the main floor, very comfortable accommodation for two or three guests. It also has a self contained second bedroom and bath on the ground floor with its own private entrance that is ideal for sharing with one or two guests. There is a $125 per night fee for this additional bed and bath. Please contact the host if you wish to book this second bed and bath.

From the house you might see ducks, herons, geese, kingfishers, eagles, otters, turkeys, and deer among many other types of birds and beasts. A quick walk to the beach and you'll find plenty of skipping stones and an excellent panoramic view across the water.

This is a 600 square foot 2 bedroom cabin on Galiano Island. There is a queen bed and a double bed in the bedrooms. There is a private bathroom with shower. Includes a kitchenette. The house is a milled cedar log home that still gives a faint cedar smell. No pets.
