There is a bridge and trails that lead down to the river. There is also a gazebo and fire area on site. Airbnb no longer allows hosts to allow parties or large gatherings of more than 16 people.

Please read detailed description of property before booking. Set in a 22 acre parcel on the Natalbany River 6.5 miles from downtown Hammond. Enjoy nature with a walk along the trail from house to river. This building has been built with mostly reclaimed, reused and upcycled materials. The rustic interior walls are clad in huge boards milled on the property after Katrina damage. Note the unusual shower with handmade tiles. There are other unique structures on property.

Relax at this peaceful home located on a quiet dead end road near the Natalbany River. Bedroom #1 has a queen bed. Bedroom #2 has a twin over double twin bunk bed. The L shaped sofa folds out into an extra large sofa bed. We provide all linens and an initial supply of toilet paper, soap, etc. to get you through your first 24 hours. Outside, are two patio sets, bbq grill, fire pit, and a playground *Guest room closet is for maintenance & inaccessible to guests

With prior notification to host you may have full access to onsite boat slip. Depending on size of boats slip can host up to 2 boats at one time.
