I can't say enough good things about the Captain's Quarters and Henny as a host. This was our third Easter weekend in a row spent at CQ on Galiano, and we cherished every minute - even adding an extra night to our stay this year. It's an amazing, private spot to relax, embrace the peacefulness, the comforts (hot tub is my personal fave, and the new king sized bed afforded many extra hours of sleep), and the island mentality. Henny is an absolute gem, and was always quick to respond to any requests. Even when the island had a brief, 2-hour power outage, Henny provided us with extra lighting, and the assurance that should the power outage last longer, she would run the generator. Our dog Feivel also finally got on our level, and didn't even bark when Henny came by with complimentary greens and smoked salmon tails! We can't wait to be back.

This was the perfect relaxing vacation for a quick Easter weekend getaway from Squamish! Lovely backyard where we hosted an Easter egg hunt for my son, wonderful hot tub with partial sun and shade & sounds of a trickling fountain, about a mile from the super-fun mountain bike / running / hiking trails in Elphinstone Provincial Park which we got to run and explore, and so close to many public beaches & Gumboots Cafe & Restaurant. Highly recommended to come stay here! It was toddler heaven with very quick & easy drives to lots of nice beaches!

What Gracious hosts Hans and Denise were. Hans kept to himself but I’m sure was responsible for lots of the preparations and planning that goes into these stays. They were polite and kind and generous in all aspects. Had a LOVELY time and will be back to visit Roberts creek in a heart beat. They allowed us to bring our furry companion and we were a 3 minute walk to beachfront access. Cant say enough good things about our stay.

Great views. Great fire pit. Great hot tub. Great location. Great sauna. This place was really really good in all ways. We all had a great time staying here. I highly recommend this log home. Very clean, everything worked and was as advertised. Hosts were very nice and accommodated one special request! They are very nice people.

This stay was absolutely beautiful! Such a sweet cottage, in a beautiful, private and peaceful location. So comfy and cosy, at the some time as feeling luxury with the hot tub. Would recommend, and will be staying again! Also, the family of deer that visit are so friendly, just magical. A lot of space to do all of the things I enjoy, fire pit, barbecue and a hot tub!

I don’t even know where to start, but I guess I’d have to start and end with the stunning views from every part of the house. I wanted to stay there almost every minute I didn’t wanna miss a minute of the sunsets or the sunrises or the boats or the otters or the seals or the Incredible skies or stars… Plenty of room for six or eight people, well stocked. There’s half a dozen seating areas all different size shapes of chairs and cushions, I didn’t get a chance to use the Jacuzzi and the spa wasn’t working while we were there, but everything was exactly as advertised. Or better. I can’t think of anything that would’ve made my stay more amazing. I can’t wait to go back and bring my family.

The suite was lovely, small but beautiful surroundings and view. Perfect for a cozy stay for one or two. Had a minor issue on check-in and Bree was quick to help resolve it. Thank you for the stay Bree!

If you wanna feel being at paradise, choose it. a great, friendly, respectfull and wonderfull host. I had my mom birthday there and it was unforgettable trip for us.

We had a great stay at Jeni's. House was just as described and spacious with lots of room for outdoor activities as well. Also the beach 200m away was beautiful.

We had such a lovely stay at Raquel’s place! Raquel was super responsive and easy to communicate with—she gave us lots of helpful info about the area, and when we ran out of pancake mix, she even brought us a new bag (so thoughtful!). The place itself is really cute and peaceful, with cows nearby and a sweet big black cat we got to meet. It’s in a great location too—right off the main road and just a minute away from a cider place we really enjoyed. The room was spotless and well equipped. We appreciated the selection of teas, the automatic coffee machine, and even dog biscuits—it’s clear a lot of care goes into making guests feel welcome. There were a few harmless ants here and there, but honestly nothing to complain about. Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommend!

Our hosts were very responsive when we communicated. The home had very comfortable beds and it was kept clean. Nice fenced yard for our dog and a walking area at back of house, accessible by gate. Thanks for a lovely stay.

What an absolute gem of an airbnb. We had our privacy the entire stay. Cabin was spacious and was spotlessly clean upon arrival. Well stocked kitchen with a comfortable living space. The backyard was spacious enough for our big dog and there are many trails close by. The fire pit with the lawn chairs allowed us to sit back and relax with a nice fire. This was a great getaway. I highly recommend Keitha’s Airbnb!

I came to the tiny seaside retreat looking for a beautiful place where I could disconnect from my life and get started on writing a novel, and I wasn't disappointed! It was perfect: cozy home, beautiful views and a great host to help me throughout my stay! Lauri was super responsive and helpful whenever I needed anything. The place was big enough for my needs and well stocked with everything you could ask for. I was nervous about the loft bedroom with the low ceilings, but I can honestly say I've never slept better in my life. I was grateful for the option of the fold out bed downstairs but didn't end up using it. Sitting out on the decks and writing each day while looking out over the water was heaven. I got to see one of the resident otters! I will definitely be a return visitor... I'm already planning it! Thanks so much for being so awesome, Lauri!

The hosts were kind and communicative (despite my anxious dog not making a great first impression!). The hosts provided a fenced in 'back yard' area at the entrance to the suite, which made for many sunny hours lounging in the sun after a walk to the river at the back of the property. The interior of the suite is quite basic and not the most private (I believe their office is on the other side of the door in the living room area and not sound-proofed), and you must be sure to keep your food secured as there are a lot of ants in the suite/kitchen - but what the suite itself lacks is made up for by the sprawling green expanse of the farm and surrounding wildlife. The alpacas were curious and friendly, and my dog enjoyed watching the neighbour's geese down the road. Overall I think my dog enjoyed the property even more than the beaches we visited while in town. Thanks again for the stay! I would visit again just to sit at the river and bask in the forest.

Our stay was all around Vancouver Island, but June's place was most definitely the best in all aspects! Firstly this location is beyond just good, - it literally drops your jaw when you encounter this ocean view right at the front yard, as you have a mountainview overlooking the wayer...it's truly amazing. Also the place itself was clean, functional and very cozy, giving you a sense of home even while traveling. Kitchen was full on ready as we needed to cook something in the evening and it worked out just perfect. Overall this was the best stay like I mentioned already,- quiet and beautiful accommodation. We had an absolutely great stay! Eva was super helpful and kind. She gave us a ton of local recommendations for the pups and us. The space was cozy and met all our needs! Would definitely stay again!

What a gem! Monica's place was outstanding. Short walk to the beach and the common pool and hot tub were exactly as described and perfect for our family. The kitchen was stocked above and beyond with anything you might need for cooking, which we loved. This is often not the case in many AirBnB's so we were very happy about this. This place was quiet and cozy and we loved the community feeling of the resort. Monica was great with communicating quickly. We will definitely return.

Our party included 4 adults and two children. We stayed in the house for four nights. This is something which we do every summer, staying in different houses near Rathtrevor Provincial Park. We were happy with our rental this year (2024). We liked the fact that this complex includes a swimming pool. We also spent a lot of time at the beach. (We used the beach folding chairs which are available in the unit.) We also walked in the adjacent Rathtrevor Provincial Park. We also drove to some stores in town. The kitchen is well equipped. We used the BBQ for three of the dinners. It was useful that one of the bedrooms includes a desk. Sandy communicated with us (via the AirBnB app) several times. We had a great vacation. I should also mention that after we checked out we discovered that my granddaughter left a certain item behind. Sandy assured me that it will be mailed to us. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at Nicole’s. The house was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. It was a short walk to the beach and into town. Nicole frequently checked in to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and we made many meals there. We look forward to returning!

We had a lovely time staying in Tammy’s home. It was really clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. She is very responsive and we were able to check in a bit early on our arrival. The bed is very comfortable and there is a lovely view of the water from the patio. We would definitely stay here again! The resort has a tennis court, lots of grills, one campfire pit, dock for crabbing or boats, beach for clamming. The property is very well kept. Thanks again Tammy for such a lovely stay!

My family of four stayed at Nyna's to attend a wedding over the Labour Day long weekend and enjoy some relaxation time at Rathtrevor Beach. The cabin had an absolutely perfect location for our purposes. It is an easy 20-minute walk to the beach, but we also drove to Rathtrevor whenever the kids insisted on bringing an excessive number of toys to play in the sand. The cabin itself was exactly as described and pictured. We were not entirely sure of our check-in time due to needing to pick up supplies on our way to the cabin, but Nyna still stuck around to welcome us in person upon our arrival and give us a personal tour of the place. She was an extremely responsive and helpful host. We would highly recommend her place to anyone wishing to stay in the area. Thank you, Nyna!
