The Shore Shack

Shore Shack is a newly construction timber frame cabin on the Atlantic Ocean. Beautiful views and direct oceanfront. A Sandy beach within walking distance (at the end of Sand Beach road). The town of Liverpool is a five minute drive away. Very private! Whitepoint, Carter's and Summerville beach all a short drive away. A four person hot tub was added in March 2022. The tower at Tillys Head is a unique structure built off grid high on a cliff on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Anyone who is looking for a place to unwind and leave the real world behind for a while will fall in love with this special place.Be aware that this is a rustic cabin, not a luxury accommodation. A 10 min walk through the woods is required to get from the parking lot to the cabin.

Enjoy morning lattes on the timber-frame porch, beachcomb and surf at the nearby beach, bike to the local wharf, unwind with a wood-fired sauna and cold plunges in the creek, write songs or poems on the piano or typewriter, get creative in the converted school bus studio, or simply sit by the wood stove with a good book or a tasty drink.

Enjoy the picturesque view from the deck or head out for the day and explore one of the many beautiful beaches on the south shore all within 10-15mins. drive. We are delighted to share our family cottage with you. This rustic and simple cabin was built by our family and has been a respite from daily life for decades. Enjoy views of Summerville Beach during the day and fall asleep to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore at night. 3 minute walk to Summerville Beach, 10 minute drive to White Point Resort, 15 minute drive to Liverpool, 90 minutes from YHZ airport. Beaches, Lighthouses, and more are all nearby.

My husband Jon and I host visitors to our cozy family vacation home. Our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom ocean view house is located in scenic Hunts Point, Nova Scotia. It sits across the street from Hunts Point public beach and a short drive to other scenic beaches. Liverpool is 10 min away for groceries; White Point Resort and Quarterdeck Grill each a 5 min drive. Relax on a large deck while listening to the ocean. We love to cook and our kitchen is fully equipped.
