The cottage at the Wanderers retreat was great. Exactly what we were looking for to unwind and the hot tub certainly helped with that. The host was very responsive and met us to orientate us with the place. One Mile Beach is an easy walk and a spectacular spot.

Had an amazing and restful time. The price was amazing for the accomodations and the location is so beautiful. Loved having our own hot tub!

Beck went over and above to make our stay wonderful - her communication was superb. The scrabble board had my name with "Happy Birthday" spelled out, which was a delightful touch. Lots of other personal touches made me feel special on my special day and for my family to enjoy this lovely house and its amenities. The furnishings are amazing; wait till you see the beds! The house is so well equipped, the beds comfortable, and it caters so well for adults and kids alike. Loved it.

We had a lovely stay at Sheree’s place in Tea Gardens. Beautiful and peaceful location yet in walking distance to restaurants, shops and pubs. Would definitely recommend.

Sue was very proactive and very helpful, the place was so big and spacious. We had a wonderful time to relax with our two little pups and were close to all amenities. Thank you so much for letting us stay, we had all a great break!

We had a wonderful stay at Serenity Cottage. The location was amazing - walking distance to Box Beach and in between Shoal and Fingal Bay. The dogs enjoyed exploring in the back yard and were safe and happy when we went out to dinner. The King bed in the main bedroom was super comfy. The cottage was well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. Thank you very much for having us.

Character filled house with comfy beds, beautiful linen, and lots of character. It is bigger than it seemed in the photos. Lots of interesting curios around the house, a well stocked kitchen and loads of books and games. We all had a lovely stay and enjoyed being able to spread out more than our house in Sydney. Great place, with amazing views. Lisa's place brought our families together and helped create some fantastic memories. Neighbours are very friendly. The water view and ocean breeze was quite relaxing. We even had a friendly neighbour selling some great bananas from their garden. Very private setting where you can go for strolls whilst enjoying the view.

Grant was excellent host and we enjoyed staying at his place very much. Encourage people who want to take rest and recharge from busy city life!

We really enjoyed Dales place, it’s a very quite and peaceful location right on the water. Dale has modern canoes/paddle boards to use and explore the water, thoughtful extras were included. Overall we had a lovely couple of days.

I had the pleasure of staying at Madhab's cottage this weekend and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The cottage offers a peaceful and private retreat, perfect for escaping the busy world. Every aspect of the accommodation was catered to ensuring comfort and tranquility. Madhab’s attention to detail and hospitality made our stay even more special. I highly recommend this charming getaway to anyone looking for a serene escape. I highly recommend him to improve his entrance instructions so someone like me fine get lost and get stuck in someone's property, that is in your address instruction. Perfect place for an escape! Glenn’s space was a great retreat from city life. Although weather stopped us using the pool, it was the perfect excuse to stay indoors, light the log fire and enjoy a bottle of wine from nearby wineries. The accommodation was comfortable, on beautiful grounds. Glenn was helpful and responsive and the added touches of fresh eggs in the morning and introductions to the cute dogs was welcomed!

This airbnb is a hidden gem of a place! Julie truly went above and beyond with all the amenities in the kitchen including a huge variety of tea and coffee-she also provided us with milk as well as snacks such as cookies and Easter chocolate. We also loved the 2 kayaks that were so easy to take to the marina which was just steps away from the house. The bathrooms were impeccably clean and TV also came with Netflix. Julie has truly thought of everything we could possibly need for a great stay and my family was extremely impressed. Definitely one of the best airbnb experiences I've ever had. Thank you Julie!

A truly wonderful weekend away. Such a warm welcoming feeling, the property and cottage is beautiful and instantly relaxing. The gardens create such a sense of tranquility and the house is full of relaxing corners to calm and entertain any guest. From books, to movies, games to cooking, you don’t even need to leave the house. The kitchen is so well equipped and the be beds were really comfortable. Every little detail, and more, has been thought of. The property is immaculately clean and full of beautiful art and decor. My kids (8 and 6) loved it too. Plenty to keep them entertained while my mum and I relaxed. The location is great too. Easy walk to the beach and loads of other activities nearby. Couldn’t speak highly enough of this stay. Thanks for a magical weekend away.

We particularly enjoyed the peaceful ambiance of the neighborhood, which offered a serene escape from the hustle and bustle.​ Communication with Marjorie was seamless; she was attentive and ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.​ Highly recommend Figtree for anyone seeking a tranquil and stylish retreat in Fingal Bay. Chris was friendly, hospital & welcomed use of herbs in the garden. The bowl of walnuts were terrific as well as the bananas hanging to welcome us. The kitchenette was well supplied with cooking alternatives. It was a cosy unassuming haven for our 12 day stay. Loved its proximity to Anna Bay surf beach. Easy walk.

The location is super close to beach and restaurants, the suburb is quiet we all like it. My furry friend also loves the beautiful yard. We will definitely book this wonderful spot again if we back to Shoal Bay!

Laurence and Lilian's stay was just perfect. Private, serene, and a stone's throw from the creek - perfect for a morning walk.
