The home matches the hospitality. Simply put this is a must stay gem. The hosts go above and beyond to make you comfortable. The breakfasts are among the best we’ve had. The pool is amazing. The room is spectacular its fit for royalty. By far the most comfortable and romantic suites you will find. The bathroom is next level luxurious. My personal favorite spot is the balcony the views on Kingston the bay and blue mountains are extraordinary. Again i will say the hosts are beautiful and felt like family when we left. We will be sure to make this a regular stop on future visits.

What a perfect, perfect hideout! We had a wonderful stay with Marie, Noel and Farmer. These people were super friendly and welcoming. Made it such a heartwarming and enjoyable stay!

This place is perfect for an authentic experience of Jamaica, its people and nature. For me, Jamaica is mostly about nature, so due to the location of this place, you can experience the nature of Jamaica and its hills. Just the view itself is worth staying there. On top of that, however, you get two fabulous hosts, who will take care of you and even provide you with breakfast and dinner, which you should definitely try, since both are two of the best meals we had on the island! During our stay we had the whole house by ourselves, meaning that we had access to the lounge area and bar, which was absolute great and useful. All in all, if you are planning to stay in Ochos Rios, book the Lion House, stop looking any further, this place is the best! However, we would mostly recommend it to travelers with access to a car, since the place is up the hill and not located in the city center, but it is still the best way to experience Ochos Rios.

My family and I had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful home tucked away in the hills of Port Antonio. The house was a peaceful retreat - surrounded by nature, with breathtaking views of Port Antonio that instantly put me at ease. The incredible hospitality made this experience stand out. Charmaine was very responsive from the moment I booked, answering all of my questions within 15-20 minutes. Marie, the house manager, and Noel were absolute gems. Marie was so accommodating, warm, and welcoming. She went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary restrictions with so much care and thoughtfulness. Her cooking was absolutely delicious. Noel was so helpful and always available if anything came up. He quickly drove us to the grocery store, reserved and transported us to rafting - we didn't have to think about anything, which made it that much more relaxing. Their genuine care and hospitality brought so much heart to the entire experience.

Marcia og Richard var så søde og imødekommende. De hjalp os meget. Vi var to unge piger som rejste rundt alene, men vi følte os rigtig sikre og hjemme hos Marcia og Richard. Vi kan klart anbefale denne Airbnb til alle der gerne vil bo lidt uden for Ocho Rios, samt have en mere lokal oplevelse. Dog kan man nemt tage en rute taxa ind til byen. Alt var som det skulle være. Dog havde vi lidt problemer med wifi. Ellers en virkelig god oplevelse hos de sødeste værter.

I offered Sheril a handshake upon departing and I received a hug....I am a first time user of Airbnb and cannot believe that the experience was so wonderful . Ofcourse I was skeptical at first but upon arrival , all that changed in a heartbeat. I was ushered inside and introduced to everyone and was directed to my room which had the most gorgeous view of the cove below Tower Isle . We interacted as family during my stay and the most delicious breakfast was prepared and ready each morning at the prearranged time...not a minute later....Room is spacious and lines and towels are nice and fresh....It definitely feel like home !

The home was absolutely beautiful, impeccably tidy, and spotlessly clean, making it a perfect retreat. The breathtaking views from the property were the cherry on top, providing a stunning backdrop that made my stay even more memorable. What truly stood out was the hospitality of the host and co-host Marie. They provided 10-star service, always being communicative, kind, and welcoming. First and foremost, unbelievably get away, never expected this feeling the moment I arrived. This really is a hidden gem. The whole place is beautifully done with attention to detail, they really have thought of everything. Our room was perfect, lovely comfortable bed and good quality bedding not to mention our hammock outside where i fell asleep on my first night. All spotlessly clean. Also lovely and warm considering the time of year. Breakfast is excellent with choices of freshly cooked delight. The lounge areas are comfortable and appealing, also outside seating under gazebo chilling. Plenty of safe parking. Awesome place. See you again soon!

Starlight Chalet is a private, peaceful and breathtakingly beautiful place. The gardens, buildings and property are well-maintained with panoramic views of the Blue Mountains. The beds were very comfortable with solid wood poster frames. The bathroom was modern and clean. The room was nicely decorated with paintings of Jamaica on the walls. The staff were friendly and helpful and made sure that we were well taken care of. We went on a driving tour guided by Trelawney, the groundsman for the property. His knowledge of the area is extensive and we learned a great deal from him and enjoyed his charming personality. The food was delicious. We enjoyed our complimentary Jamaican style breakfasts which included Blue Mountain coffee. We also had dinner there and the staff went out of there way to provide us with yam and green bananas and escovitch snapper and fresh tomatoes and cucumber. I highly recommend the Starlight Chalet and plan to return soon for a serene retreat. Thank you!
