Cozy and quiet in the beautiful countryside. The house was comfortable and filled with nice amenities. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Sara was an amazing host. Our entire stay she went above and beyond to welcome us, and assure our stay was pleasant. The barn apartment was beautiful. Extremely clean and very homey. We enjoyed the beautiful country scenery and all the local recommendations from restaurants, shopping, and exploring as well as all the amenities the house had to offer. We can’t wait to stay again!

We throughly enjoyed our stay in the Barn Loft. Andrea and Steve are gracious hosts. Prior to our arrival, we received information to prepare for our stay. We received timely communication on the date of our arrival. The property is even better than the pictures display. We truly felt welcome and at home. The furnishings are cozy and the beds are so comfortable. Our family enjoyed meeting the hosts, exploring the property, and the opportunity to rest and to relax in such a beautiful scenic area. We appreciated the fact that our dog could accompany us on this trip. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We look forward to returning.

My husband, my pup and I had a wonderful time at the cozy cottage. We felt right at home. We loved that we could hike right on the premises as well as the several other close Nature Reserves and Parks. Marshall was a very nice host. We are hoping to return in the fall.

The cottage is beautiful, tranquil, and very comfortable - a one of a kind place. The history of the cottage is very interesting and was part of our wonderful stay there. We, along with our guests with four legs, relished walking the serene property. David was a great host - very helpful, responsive, and nice to work with. We look forward to returning.

Hidden Gem definitely deserves its name! Beautiful views with things to do in the area. My girlfriend and I enjoyed our weekend getaway!!

We truly enjoyed our weekend at "Idyllic Mountain Home - Dog Friendly/great views"! It was all of that and more! Charlotte provided detailed info on how to run the wood stove (early March can get chilly) and we were warm and cozy on both levels all weekend. Other info about the house was very detailed. Our two corgis loved wandering around the property, which is elevated and very private! We took a hike with them on Saturday off of Skyline Drive, which was only about a half hour away; lovely! Dinner Saturday night was a milestone birthday celebration at The Inn at Little Washington, and it was worth the splurge! There's a small area near the bedroom where we set up the dogs crates and they were very comfy while we were gone. I highly recommend Charlotte's home for a weekend getaway!!

Such a lovely getaway in the woods! The place is exactly as pictured but the natural light all the large sliding glass doors let in is even better! It is very secluded, the wifi is powerful and allowed me to work and take video calls no problem, and the deck is lovely. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back in the future.

This place is awesome. If you want a place to relax, enjoy the countryside, watch the Amish farming and the kids walking to school in the morning then you must stay here. We have come back and will continue to return. There are steps so if you cannot climb stairs, it might be difficult to navigate. Shopping and theaters are only minutes away and the restaurants are varied in the area so there is something for everyone.

Overall, I enjoyed the place. The barn was minimalistic and nice for photos. The best part was the waterfront view. The house was very clean and pretty kid friendly (a few high chairs included). The kitchen had the bare minimum to cook and grill with but I wouldn’t say it was fully stocked. I would say in general that we enjoyed our stay. The kayaks were wonderful.

We are absolutely OBSESSED with this place. The silo was everything we imagined and more. The farm animals are literally a few feet away from the front door and gave us a warm welcome as soon as we arrived. From riding several miles of bike trails to fishing and boating in the pond, there was never a bored moment. The owners Ashleigh and Mike were super nice and made us feel right at home. This was definitely one of our top spots we’ve stayed at and can’t wait to return in the future!

Our stay by Sarah was really nice. The loft is beautiful, cozy, very clean and there are all amenities one needs. The place is so quiet and we have really appreciated that during our stay. There were fresh eggs from her chickens and strawberries in the fridge when we arrived, which was really kind from her and our little daughter loved it! I really recommend this accommodation!

Had a great at Catherine‘s place for three days! The house is very comfortable, clean, and close to different restaurants/coffee shops/outdoor space. I appreciated the recommendations provided when I got to the house! I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a cute and quaint stay in the Richmond area!

We had such a fun and unique experience. Love the location close to the interstate yet private and safe. The apartment was spacious and clean. Love seeing the animals and the owners were extremely friendly. We will be back

Went with my friend and we found the place very comfortable. The kitchen is very nicely stocked! We brought food so that we could prepare most meals and the kitchen had more than we could ever need by way of kitchen gear! There was also a full stash of coffee, cream, honey and sugar! The location is great. We went to the White's Ferry Brewery that was just down the street and thoroughly enjoyed it! I would strongly recommend a visit. We also walked around the neighborhood to include down to the Potomac! Very nice! We took a day trip to Harper's Ferry (45-min drive) and of course to the little downtown area of Leesburg (7-min drive)! Rita was super responsive and brough us batteries quickly when requested for the remote and a container of eggs from the chickens! The beds are comfortable. I did sleep on the sleeper sofa and while it isn't a typical bed, it was fairly comfortable. Having the animals just below us was really sweet! Loved them all! Enjoyed our visit very much!

One of our favorite Airbnb's! The carriage house is charming and the amenities were great. We loved the fresh flowers arranged on the coffee table, as well as the gardens outside. Anne provides plenty of towels, soap, and other amenities. We enjoyed the two corgis who occasionally greeted us as we pulled up outside. The carriage house itself is quiet and peaceful. We will definitely return and have already recommended this place to others. Parking tip: back into the space and you will find it easier to watch for traffic as you pull out (although the road is very quiet--there isn't much traffic).

This was our 4th stay and we love coming back. My dog loves it here for many reasons including Jen and Katie, the Gator and the Milkbones! This trip was to celebrate her birthday weekend. She had a blast and I got my fix of nature, bright stars, animals and peace. This place is a treasure and it’s hosts are the best!

It feels like getting a warm hug. The sound of the creek, the dance of wildlife, & the peaceful surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for rest, reflection, & reconnection. We truly loved unwinding in the hot tub under the stars-pure magic. The aptly named Honeymoon Suite was a true sanctuary, the perfect ending to each day. The barn is beautiful. Situated on a pond, this place is perfect for families or anyone looking for breath of fresh air. The hosts were extremely communicative and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as smooth as possible. There are many areas of the property to explore - fishing in the pond, chickens, fire pit, and hot tub. The barn itself was very clean and had everything we needed. We will be back!

Kelly and Phil’s cottage is a beautiful getaway! They are exceptional hosts providing fresh fruits and pastries each morning and wonderful conversation as you wonder about their farm. This is such a beautiful, serene property with horses, rolling fields and doggies to greet you each time you arrive back to the cottage. The space is so large but has a very quaint, cozy feel especially at sunset and in the evening. The kitchen is well equipped to cook any meal. We look forward to another visit in the future!

The loft has a view of the garden with a black cat 🐈‍⬛️ on the fence. I enjoyed the natural surroundings and listening to the birds singing as the sun came up.

We had a wonderful stay at this tranquil retreat. Michael and Jennifer were excellent hosts: highly communicative, clear in expectations, and the home was super hospitable. Everything is tastefully decorated, the amenities in the home are more than expected (e.g. the snack basket in the kitchen), and the location is superior. We enjoyed walking on the private road directly adjacent to the property, sitting on the patio with wine or breakfast and looking at the picturesque landscape - including vineyards and cows, and touring the adorable town and surrounding vineyards. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone coming to the area.
