Bearing in mind that Casa do Ilhéu is on a slope, it is not recommended for people with motor difficulties and small children. A cerca de 3 km encontra-se o parque de merendas do Mistério da Prainha, praia da "Baia de Canas" e praia da "Baia da Areia".
