Can't say enough good things about this place! It is absolutely stunning and in a beautiful setting. The house was so charming, cozy, and impeccably clean. It was thoughtfully stocked with water, wine, snacks, and firewood. Karen is a wonderful host — so friendly, responsive, and helpful. Can't wait to go back!

We couldn’t have found a more perfect place to spend a weekend away from DC. It was cozy, peaceful, and had all the amenities. Gary met us when we arrived and showed some of the natural beauties the area had to offer-turtles, catfish, a cardinal’s nest, bluebirds, purple martins. The stars at night are breathtaking. Thanks you for making us feel right at home, Gary!

Loved how clean the whole place felt and all the matching kitchenware! Loved the water bottles and they had such cozy blankets, that was such a sweet touch! Bathrooms felt very clean and the whole place was modern and updated and bright! Rhina was super responsive and everything was just as described. Truly enjoyed our stay, so comfortable and convenient to everything we wanted to do.

Quiet, clean and comfortable. Jack is very responsive and friendly. House and property are peaceful and a there’s a small play ground with swings just outside the door which was perfect for kids. Would absolutely stay again.

The house was great. The fenced yard was nice for my dog and granddaughter. It was quiet and peaceful. We loved the hot tub. I hope we can stay again.

There are so many wonderful things about this place, but ill try to be brief. The house itself is gorgeous and felt like home. It was nestled on a hill and felt very secluded and peaceful, despite being in the middle of so much to do. The walkability was incredible! Every day I walked to breakfast, lunch, dinner, and shopping. I brought my dog and its a very dog friendly area!! Lots of hiking around, as well. The town of occoquan is filled with shops and historic attractions. The host was very friendly and responsive, too! I can't say enough good things about this stay - highly recommend!

great value and nice area

We felt welcome at Chris's place and by the host himself who was helpful, responsive and friendly. Clifton is a pretty little railroad historic town not far from there. The area has lovely trails and a micro winery. We definitely recommend to visit and stay at Chris's place. The place was tastefully decorated, lovely bathroom, comfortable bed and linens; kitchen had all we needed for our stay.. Very quiet surroundings. We run on the trails of the two parks in the area, beautiful with the bluebells at this time of the year and the Bull Run River. Our main purpose for visiting was a trail race that happens every year in the park and the weather was perfect on the day. Overall we had a great stay and time in Clifton and at Chris's place.

I enjoyed my stay and was surprised when John on his own sent me a list of things to do and restaurants around the area. He was very helpful to make sure I had all I needed in the house. The place was clean and well maintained. No complaints, definitely recommend if you want to be near DC but not stay in the DC area to rest.

It’s a stunning place to stay, conveniently located near Potomac Mills and with easy access to Fairfax, Vienna, Arlington, and DC. If I ever return to Virginia, I’ll definitely be staying at Claudia’s place again! It’s such a hidden gem. You’ll find everything you need on her Airbnb, including a kitchen where you can cook, a pool table for some friendly competition, a cozy spot to relax or work, and even a garage to park your car. The apartment was spacious, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The sunsets were absolutely breathtaking, and waking up to the sight of horses each morning was a magical bonus. A quiet, peaceful few days away with the family and dog. Morning coffee on the deck and evening sunset walks. Board games and quiet time to unwind. Fun grounds to explore. And very close to drive to fun breweries and Middleburg places to hang out if you want someone else to cook. Overall a very relaxing few days .

Incredible property. Feels like going to camp in the best ways possible. Loads of room to spread out and great features. Boats were a lot of fun to take out.

Idalma was a very great host. Beautiful property filled with green space. There are places to go for entertainment very close by. Also is very peaceful at night! Highly recommend and will happily book again in the near future!
