Cwt Glo eco cottage Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)/ Zip World

Cwt Glo is a cosy and peaceful cottage for two in Northern Snowdonia nestled between two mountain ranges the Carneddau and Glyderau. Cwt Glo is situated in a small village near Bethesda called Mynydd Llandygai. There is private off road parking next to the cottage. Cwt Glo is Welsh for Coal house and the cottage was the place where the coal was weighed and measured. The property has been both a farm and coal yard for the local area. Cwt Glo is a semi sustainable/off grid cottage it has a solar and wind system however there is the backup of mains electricity. There is also an LPG central heating and hot water system. The cottage has a wood burning stove to keep you cosy and warm in the evening after a busy day exploring the local area. We also provide the wood for your stay.

Anglesey cottage, stunning sea view, dog friendly

Our family cottage is full of character and charm and has been in the family for over 90 years. Built in the 1820s, it has lots of original features; open fireplace, yet has the comforts of modern living ; wifi, central heating. Versatile and very comfortable trundle beds, which convert to either a single, twin or king size in bedrooms- sleeps 4. A peaceful, rural location with stunning sea view over the bay, a dog friendly pub 8 mins walk away and 30 mins walk down the hill to the beach.

Moel y Don is a stunning cottage situated on the water's edge looking out across the Menai Strait. It's a perfect, remote peaceful escape. We are located just 5 minutes away from the A55 making us a perfect hub from which to explore the delights of both Anglesey and Snowdonia. Also located on the famous coastal path of Anglesey. The private wood fired hot tub is the perfect place to relax & enjoy a glass of bubbly under the stars. Fantastic walks straight from the front door & the village (including 2 pubs!) within walking distance. Zip World, Surf Snowdonia & the Conwy coast all just a few minutes drive.

The cottage has been lovingly renovated to a very high standard, and features a peaceful, nature-filled garden with far-reaching views.
