The Anchor House is fantastic! We had so much fun, great location, peaceful, beds were comfortable, every room is spacious. It felt like home. It was everything we could have asked for. Mrs. Priscilla's communication was spot on. No questions were necessary she covered everything in her messages. We will definitely stay here again.

Super clean! Beds were very plush and comfortable. This place has great amenities (especially the dock in the back). Denise was a great and friendly host, she was quick to respond to any questions you may have.

Huge place, very comfortable, outside space was wonderful. Sitting on the deck listening to the birds was great. Neighbors were very friendly and it was nice to walk around the lake nearly every day. It is exactly as described. This is their camp so it’s not fancy and some of the floors are a bit uneven or saggy. But it was very livable and a nice place to stay. Victoria was very responsive any time we messaged her. Would definitely recommend.

This was a gem of a find!! We wanted a peaceful, get back to nature family weekend, and that is exactly what we got! Micah was extremely personable and accommodating. The place had all the amenities promised. We could have spent a week there! Micah even set up a bonfire for our family and joined us singing and playing guitar around the fire pit. A family compound worth every penny!

Perfect for our river run weekend, awesome location, nice and clean, back porch was awesome for hanging out, and there was plenty of room to park our boats. The wagon was super nice to haul things back and forth to the water. Only complaint which has nothing to do with the owner but the manufacturer of the home is that the lighting is terrible in the bathrooms.

This is our second stay at one of Deborah and Steve’s properties. The location is great for attending a local festival and our Flamingo Cottage had everything we needed for the three of us to feel at home. Our hosts were always very quick to respond and we were grateful to be able to drop off our food and suitcases early, before heading to the festival. The house had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. So nice to relax over coffee in the morning! We hope to be back next year and will look to Deborah and Steve as our first choice!

Natascha and Dave were extremely helpful describing the wonderful places along the Saint Johns River. The accommodations were one of the best we have experienced. Also, very helpful with providing information on boating and fishing and the best scenery in the area.

My husband and I took our 14 year old grandson on a mini vacation to fish. We were accompanied with my elderly parents. This place is absolutely wonderful. We spend so much time outside on the covered dock. Even in the evenings, my husband and grandson would fish until after 11:00 PM as there are lights on the dock. We caught some really big fish too. The house was also very comfortable with everything you need included in the kitchen. We brought food with us with the intentions of eating dinner out each evening. We were having so much fun that we decided to stay in (and not dine out with the exception of one evening.) This place is good for ALL ages. Thank you Dori and John for your rapid response anytime we had questions (before and after we checked in!!) We highly recommend this place.

Our stay at the Lakehouse was perfect for our family vacation. The space is absolutely beautiful-with plenty of space to stretch out, room for kids to play, and tons of activities and games to do. We enjoyed the dock access making boating a breeze and the kids loved the pool. I would stay here again! The house is extremely luxurious but was also quite “lived in” feeling, which always makes you feel comfortable when bringing kids around! Host was helpful and very responsive. We loved our vacation!

It’s was such a cute cottage in a well maintained area. Had everything we needed. Teresa was kind, provided clear instructions for just about everything you could want or need. Would definitely stay again.

Kelly's place was very clean and very well equipped. The furniture was great and the screened in deck was very nice. The only problem we had was that the dryer did not work, but she did her best to get it fixed. So I stay there again if I was going to Salt Springs.

This was our 2nd stay and it was, again, clean and spacious and perfectly located for our time with family. It is convenient to grocery stores and restaurants and our kids loved the pool. We enjoyed sunrises over the lake from the swings by the camp store and also played horse shoes one afternoon. The beds are comfortable, the shower has great water pressure, and the kitchen is serviceable. We also used the gas grill and Florida room.

Tonya was an excellent host. She had everything arranged for our arrival and met us at the entrance to the resort. Tonya was easily accessible by phone for questions. She was quick to respond when we needed replacement of supplies . She is a very friendly and welcoming host. The cabin was incredibly cute and had everything we needed for our stay. We look forward to returning !

We really enjoyed staying there. It was just as the descriptions and pictures depicted. It was a lovely place and we hope the stay there again. We thank our hosts for having us.

We participated in an event at Dunns Creek State Park, which was under 1.5 miles from the cabin. Our stay at the cabin was perfect for our large group. The cabin had everything we needed from kitchen essentials, to games for the down time to the fire pit outside.

This was my second stay at the property. The house is great. All of our guests enjoyed our stay. Many thanks for your hospitality!

George recommended a few local spots for entertainment, bait and groceries. The river house is easy to find and a very relaxing house with plenty of space. The dock with a screened sitting area, table and 4 chairs was a bonus. The kids used the crab traps and fishing poles and caught channel catfish, speckled perch, bluegill, stingrays and some crabs. We rented a pontoon from Welaka boat rentals and the dock to the river house is only 5 minutes from the marina. We headed up Salt springs run to Salt springs and swam with a manatee that come up to the boat. There is a nice smokeless fire pit with plenty of wood on the back patio with a picnic table, BBQ grill, several chairs and tables. All the beds were comfortable and there are plenty of linens with extra blankets/pillows. The long driveway to the River house has wild coffee plants, wild iris, blackberries, ferns, tall native trees, deer, turkeys and plenty of bald eagles and osprey for you nature lovers. Awesome quality time spent

We enjoyed our time spent with Melissa. The house was clean and neat. It was just right for us. Melissa is a great host she replied back quickly when we had questions. Melissa also check in on us to make sure we didn't need anything. The surroundings of the house are very quiet and relaxing. We greatly enjoyed out daily visits from the peacocks. We will definatly keep this Airbnb on our list of places to stay. Can't wait until we comeback.

Our family absolutely loved Sam & Mike's place! The house was so clean and very comfortable! We loved sitting on the patio for meals and hanging out by the firepit at night! The kids had a blast swimming, kayaking & fishing! Excellent communication from Sam & Mike was the cherry on top! We will be back to Lake Pegram!

My husband, dogs and me had a wonderful stay at Roberta’s place! It was a nice getaway from the city, felt secluded but with stores & restaurants mere minutes away. The beds were comfy, the kitchen and bathroom had all the things and the fireplace was a great way to warm up in the crisp mornings. We’d definitely come back again!

What a serene, beautiful getaway. Great little tiny house cabin. You can feel the earth, the history of river living and peace. Sandra is a wonderful hostess and it was such a great pleasure to get to know her. She allowed us the choice of privacy or inters and we chose to interact❤️❤️❤️😘

SO GRATEFUL! We came to escape the hurricane and Diana was so flexible and nice! The place was awesome too. More spacious than the pictures show. Private, quiet, away from the city! We had all that we needed and more. Played a ton of ping pong in the screened outdoor area. Next adventure we will be looking to book here again. 5/5 Stars!

We stayed at Missy's for a week while home visiting family. As someone who grew up in Florida 20 years ago, Missy's place reminds me of why I love Florida so much. The bungalow had a lot of charm and character, and was simple in the best possible way. An ode to old Florida (the real Florida), it felt a million miles away from all of the concrete overdevelopment. Our mornings were peaceful, spent out on the private dock and our evenings were quiet, spent cozied up on the comfortable couches. During the day we worked in the Florida Room while listening to records. The kitchen was fully stocked, and we loved having access to a BBQ as well. We slept in the blue room, and the bed was like a cloud! My sister visited with her two kids and dog and they loved swimming at the lake beach across the street. The yard is huge, completely fenced in and perfect for dogs. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to escape the noise and enjoy some down time in a serene setting.
