Wow! An incredible experience seeing the true Vietnam. Yen Duc was the perfect end to our holiday. Take advantage of seeing the water puppet show, catching fish with baskets (a must do!), making peanut candy, using the complimentary bicycles and visiting the market to purchase last minute souvenirs. Na was a great host and was always on hand to guide us and tell us about village life. Our stay was rounded off perfectly making doughnuts and drinking rice wine with Na and one of the neighbours. We would recommend that you take advantage of the meals as there are few options to eat out or cook yourself, unless you have your own transport. You won’t regret it as the meals are delicious. There was construction work going on during our stay but this did not impact on the overall experience. Please bear in mind though that you will need to pay for drinking water. We loved every moment here, enjoying the tranquility after the fast pace of life in Hoi An and Hanoi.

Viet was very nice and chill host! The accomodation was clean and airy and we slept well~ The swimming is clean and beautiful! definitely recommend! the island is small and very good for you to turn off and relax~ Viet also helped us with trip to Halong Bay, which can be arranged frm port 10 minutes from the airbnb. You should go! thank you for everything

Nhà 3 người lớn, 2 trẻ em. Chỗ ở sạch sẽ, view đẹp. Có chỗ đỗ xe ô tô, có quán bugger ngay dưới tầng 1. Xung quanh có nhiều quán cafe đẹp, quán ăn. Phòng không có tủ lạnh nên hơi bất tiện xíu, do nhà mình có trẻ em mang theo đồ ăn cần bảo quản lạnh.

Without a doubt, one of our best experiences in airbnb.. they claim to be a homestay but, if in anyway possible, they should just say 'home'.. Tam is a home maker in the true sense of the word.. Not just for her family but also us who went there as guests.. From the travel plans to the everyday meals to the home scooter( given for free) and so much more ( the 'home wine' is a great touch that makes you feel at home)...the breakfast was wonderful, will all my food intolerances taken care of. Tam, Quyen and An..made us their family and we are truly grateful to them... An absolute must for the hospitality...

Quyen en Tam zijn de beste airbnb gastheer en gastvrouw en gastvrouw die ik ken. Alles is zeer schoon en keurig geregeld. Heel service gericht (zelfs de was wordt gedaan). Tam heeft ons uitgebreid verteld over de omgeving. Ze zijn heel attent, een drankje en fruit bij thuiskomst. Het ophalen en wegbrengen naar busplaats wordt door hen geregeld. We hebben de privé-kajaktour met Quyen ook gedaan en dat is werkelijk een prachtige tocht. Hij heeft veel kennis en jarenlange ervaring als giss. En allerbeste is de geweldige kookkunst van Tam: de ontbijten zijn de beste in Vietnam … en als je gebruik maakt van de mogelijkheid om te dineren weet Tam er een smaakfeest van te maken. Quyen, Tam en Ahn het belangrijkste is misschien wel dat jullie een fantastische gezin zijn, jullie hebben ons enorm thuis laten voelen en ons toch alle ruimte om ons zelf te zijn gegeven. Dank jullie wel dat we bij jullie mochten verblijven.

The best place to hide from the noise of the Cat Ba city. The appartment is in the end of a narrow street with little terrace and chairs, jungle around, at night we listened the chirps ot the bugs and other animals, a little felt like in the woods :) Our host was sooo friendly and kind, gave us good advices, help. She did everything to make our stay perfect and memorable. She speaks very good English! We arrived early, but we could left our luggage there until check-in, our host carried them into our house. This appartment is a pearl, we loved the peace and quiet. She offered us program options and gave useful advices, we also rented a scooter from her. If you like nature around and tranqility, this is your place. We recommend it!

100 stars stay. Mrs. Huong is the most amazing host I’ve ever seen. We travelled to Ha Long during Vietnam’s biggest national holiday, booked the wrong flight to Ha Noi in the middle of the night, and little knowledge of Ha Long. She helped us booked a private car to transport us at 12am, waited for us to arrive at 2am, still helped us check in and tucked us in to rest. She also helped us book a bike rental for 24 hours, drove our luggage to a shuttle pick up when we left. All in all, Mrs Huong is truly the most amazing, supportive and caring host I’ve ever seen. Breakfast is free, room is squeaky clean. On the 3rd floor you can look out to see the Ha Long rocks every morning. Truly a home away from home in the strange city. Thanks so much for making our trip an unforgettable one!!
