Our stay at Starlight Serene was everything we hoped it would be! John was very responsive and helpful, especially as this was our first time using AirBnB. The pictures are very accurate, there were plenty of towels, linens, and a VERY well equipped kitchen - much more than we expected (or I have in my own house, I think!). Lots of nice bonuses to this place - my kids loved the firepit and there was wood on hand as well as a s'mores kit; the hot tub was warm and ready when we arrived. You are at the narrower end of the lake, but still a beautiful view with plenty of wildlife. The location is great - roughly 30ish minutes to Bear Mountain, Legoland, and the Palisades Center (which had tons of rainy-day fun for kids). We even rented a pontoon boat from Murphy's Cove Marina - Richie was really wonderful to us and our kids and they loved their first time boating and fishing on the lake. This airbnb is great! Super spacious, so many bathrooms, the indoor sauna is the most relaxing, hot tub amazing, and lovely to have lake access. It's not fancy or private if that's something you're looking for, but has everything you need for a lovely stay. Communication was stellar for check-in and out, including flexibility on timing. We didn't stay with kids, but there is a crib in one of the rooms and board games in the basement. Thanks for an incredible stay!!

An overall outstanding experience. Pristinely clean, comfortable furniture, cozy bed & bedding - can’t say enough great things about this place and the hosts. We will definitely be back!

We had a very nice stay, the house is like the pictures and everything is clean and neat. Jolanta is a great host very friendly and helped us with everything.

This house was beautiful! It was very spacious with a lot of rooms. The king bed was also very comfortable. It was in a nice location and Jennifer & Jose were very responsive and helpful. When we arrived, they had surprised us with s’mores for the fire pit, which was so nice :) we had a lot of fun with the ping pong and foosball tables! We also loved fishing from the dock on the lake. I would definitely recommend this place!

We loved it and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay to celebrate our Anniversary. Peaceful, clean and such amazing views of the Lake! Would definitely stay here again. Great food in the area as well.

This was the best Airbnb I ever stayed in , very clean , perfect location, easy to get in , it really was Great i recommend this place to anyone comming skiing/ snowboarding for a couple days

Nice cozy cottage one block from the beach.. spent many hours walking the beach and found many beautiful shells and sea glass on our walks. Cozy cottage perfect for us and our dog in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood.

Had an amazing stay at this beautiful property. It was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The host was responsive and super helpful with everything. The views and location were truly incredible. I recommend this house to anyone who is looking to stay in this area.
