Kindvriendelijke vakantiewoningen in Rangárþing eystra

Heerlijk verblijf gehad. Een week met plezier verbleven in het huisje, heerlijk rustig in een mooie omgeving. Vanuit hier zijn er veel dingen te doen in de omgeving; mooie watervallen, museum, zwarte stranden, de Westman eilanden bezoeken en we hebben zelfs een bezoekje gebracht aan het gletsjermeer Jökulsárlón met daarnaast een zwart strand met afgebroken stukken ijs vanuit de gletsjer Vatnajökull. Het huisje was schoon, de eigenaar reageerde snel en toen de wasbak verstopt zat, was er binnen no time iemand om te helpen. Zeker een aanrader!

We had a lovely stay and appreciated the proximity to the southern coast sights. The host was very responsive and flexible about our check-in. We previously stayed in the cabin before the new addition, and the new wing of the cabin and the hot tub and deck are wonderful. Comfortable beds, multiple bathrooms, and the perfect amount of space for our family of four to spread out after a day of exploring! A great home base for the south coast!

The cottage is definitely “little”, and the bedroom is possibly the smallest I’ve ever slept in. However, the use of space is very smart and efficient, and personal touches and care are evident everywhere. The agricultural setting is lovely, and several times we were amused to find our departure slowed by a herd of cattle being driven down our access road to another pasture. The host, Heidar, was extremely responsive and attentive, particularly tipping us that the Northern Lights might be seen the last night…and we stayed up to see a spectacular display!

It is the great place for family, you can see the aurora at night and enjoy the day with hot stub outside the cabin. Highly recommend this place.

Die Unterkunft war einfach zu erreichen, der Check In verlief problemlos! Die Unterkunft ist sehr modern eingerichtet und war sehr sauber. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Die AirBnB ist umgeben von Natur, wir haben hier schöne Polarlichter gesehen und die Nachbarshunde haben am Morgen für viel Spaß gesorgt :) Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen und die AirBnB ist absolut zu empfehlen, es gab nichts negatives.

The small cabin was beautiful and in a great location to access Vik to the east and a number of hiking trails to waterfalls even nearer. Great WiFi and adequately stocked kitchen. One odd design decision - the cabin windows don’t point towards the cliff and waterfall view. So the primary view from inside the cabin is a simple flat grasslands. This made the place not feel worth the extra expense.

Sigurborg’s place is as neat, shiny and tidy as it gets. The living room has a high ceiling and a nice designer feel. The kitchen is well equipped, bathroom clean and bedrooms are inviting. The views of the surrounding open fields with the snow-covered mountains in the background are spectacular. A great place to set up camp to visit the nearby sights.

Zum ersten mal dort gewesen und sind total glücklich. Eine wunderbare Ferienunterkunft und man fühlt sich gleich zu Hause. Die Ruhe dort ist erholsam und wir kommen gerne wieder. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön, es gibt viele Möglichkeiten etwas zu unternehmen. Die Kommunikation mit Sveinn ist super. Man kann sich auf ihn verlassen. Eine absolute Empfehlung

Our group had an incredible stay! The location was the perfect balance of being wonderfully remote, offering peace and quiet, yet still conveniently close to several attractions. We loved coming back from a day of exploring, knowing we could unwind in such a serene setting. The property had everything we needed, including a fully equipped laundry, which made our stay so much easier. One of the highlights was being able to see the Northern Lights right from the property—an absolutely magical experience! We couldn’t have asked for a better spot and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a mix of adventure and relaxation.
