Really nice place to stay! Bright and clean and had well taken care of common spaces :) would totally stay here again.

Our stay here was nothing short of magical. Every time we looked out the window, we had to pinch ourselves, the view was so breathtaking it hardly felt real. Every element of the space had been curated with such care and intention, from the stunning vistas and the cozy, cloud-like bed, to the warm, welcoming fire and the perfectly equipped kitchen that made us feel instantly at home. Communication with the host was flawless, and their thoughtful support made the entire experience effortless and even more enjoyable. If you're searching for a place where your whole being can exhale, where beauty, comfort, and tranquility come together in perfect harmony, this is it. I would return in a heartbeat, and I can't wait to one day share this unforgettable place with friends and family.

Beliggenheten var rett og slett en drøm med en utrolig fin utsikt. Jeg våknet hver morgen til en fantastisk utsikt som virkelig satte tonen for dagen. Og ikke minst, den veldig søte og kosete katten som var der, gjorde oppholdet enda mer minneverdig. Å ha en firbent venn å komme tilbake til etter en dag på tur var virkelig en hyggelig bonus. Alt i alt hadde jeg en utrolig positiv opplevelse under mitt opphold hos Ida. Jeg vil absolutt anbefale dette stedet til andre reisende som ønsker en flott beliggenhet, en engasjert vert, enkel tilgang til turistattraksjoner. Takk igjen for et flott opphold!

Per, a pleasant and good-natured host, responded very quickly in the chat during our stay in the house. A beautiful house, the house is very large, on the ground floor there is a kitchen, toilet and living room, and on the upper floor there are 5 bedrooms. The house is very cozy. There were two of us, so each of us took a separate bedroom. There are incredibly beautiful mountains around. And there is also a lake, the beach is a 2-minute walk away. During the day we went on hiking routes, a rock climbing wall and just swam in the lake. The kitchen had everything you need for cooking, a huge amount of dishes, a microwave, an oven, an electric stove, a kettle and there were other things but we did not use them. In the living room we watched movies in the evenings, there is a ChromeCast connected there, but we used it via phone because we did not find the remote control. In general, we really liked this house and we will definitely come back someday.

The rooms are beautiful and cosy with magical view on the mountains. Perfect place for a base camp for ski touring / trail running / hiking. It’s also really nice to have a fully functional kitchen.

We spent a great time at "villa vertical". Pontus is really nice and gave us some advice about the hikes around. We totally recommend this lovely place well decorated and "hygge".

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Das Zimmer und die weiteren Räume waren sehr schön eingerichtet und immer sauber. Dirket bei der Ankunft haben wir hilfreiche und schöne Tipps für Wanderungen in der Umgebung bekommen:) wir kommen gerne wieder!

Great accommodation in a very quiet environment. Close to the Geirangerfjord and Trollstigen. It should be emphasized that Tone gave us tips for things to do in the area and even provided us with a book travel guide. We would come back at any time.

Wir waren eine große Gruppe (12 Personen) daher passte die Unterkunft wie angegossen. Da ich schon einmal in der alten Schule gewohnt habe, wusste ich, was uns erwartet. Es war alles ordentlich und sauber, gut vorbereitet. Wir waren alle zufrieden! Sofie hat sich bei Problemen (mit unseren gemieteten Booten und das hat mit der Unterkunft nichts zu tun) sofort darum gekümmert und uns geholfen und war auch ansonsten immer für uns da. Vielen Dank Sofie für deine Unterstützung.

My brother and I had a great stay at Ida’s place! The location is really good, close to the Nesaksla/Romsdalseggen hiking trails, and easy to walk into downtown. Also, beautiful views and the amenities were nice and as described. On top of that, Ida was an incredibly gracious, helpful, and friendly host. I highly recommend staying here!
