A great place to stay,in an ideal and convenient location. Thought the key situation would be a bit complicated but because the instructions were so clear, that it was quite simple. The apartment was spotless, the equipment was good and easy to use. Furnishings were very good and comfortable. Beds very comfortable and heating system very easy to use. Everything had a very spacious and welcoming feel to it. We would definitely use this apartment again. We had a very enjoyable experience.

A very quaint little apartment on the 2nd floor of an old (Victorian?) building in a quiet residential neighbourhood a short walk from town. It has a really comfy bed and the place has all the amenities you’d want including some very thoughtful touches. Availability of street car parking (permit included with the apartment) can be tricky if you arrive later in the day (to be expected, I suppose!) but there’s a pay-and-display car park less than 200 metres away with reasonable overnight rates.

Fantastic place to stay, great location has everything you need and more. The only thing I would say is the main door downstairs to get in is quite tricky the key needs to be wiggled quite a bit to get it to open. A hard turn to the left gets it working once you know how. We loved our stay the home is gorgeous inside and couldn’t recommend staying here enough. We are already looking at dates to book to come back in a few months time

Wow, just wow. I don't normally write reviews but I'm having to so that I can share just what a wonderful and reasonably priced property this is. There are genuine sea views from the living/dining room window and the flat itself is superb. We stayed as a couple so didn't use the spare bedroom or utilise the family bathroom properly but the main bedroom had tons of storage space, was well designed and loads of space. The ensuite was fantastic. We both loved the shower; so much better than the one at home. The kitchen was immaculate with Smeg kettle, toaster and fridge. All the utensils required for self catering seemed to be there and it was a more of less perfect small kitchen for our purposes. The living room was a great size and far too big for just two. It would definitely fit a family of 4 and the cuddle chair would go down a treat with most teen-agers who want to be left alone with their devices. Access was easy and the instructions idiot proof. Off street parking was great

Had a lovely stay for the weekend! location was great for walking into town and having a set parking space was the clincher for us, no worrying about finding somewhere to keep the car. Apartment was spacious, comfortable and clean, really couldn't have asked for a m nicer place to stay.

Wonderful apartment - very clean and in walking distance to the shops and restaurants. Only a few mins walk to shops and 5 mins walk to the waterfront. Lovely decor and amenities. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Whitby.

We booked both apartments as we were travelling with my brother and sister in law. Both apartments were lovely and quirky. There is warnings about the steps but as we had no mobility issues, these were fine. It was really nice to have a lounge as well rather than just a bedroom. Location is fab, halfway up the hill and it was quiet to say it was above a pub. All in all a nice place at a good price.

We stayed at Bramley Cottage for our mini honeymoon and it was the best base we could have wished for. The cottage is so homely, comfortable, and it has bags of character. We absolutely loved our stay - the cottage is in a fantastic location for exploring Robin Hood's Bay and the local walks, and such easy access to the beach. Parking was easy in the car park at the top of the hill (busy on Saturday evening when we arrived, but we still found a space). Whitby was a very easy drive away, and the local walks and views were great. Having a sea view was a real perk and it was a treat to sit at the window and watch the waves rolling in. Claudia was incredibly warm and friendly, and had left lovely sweet touches for us on our arrival. A big, big, thank you - we will certainly be back.

Very relaxing and peaceful. A home from home close to the beach and local amenities. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thomas was a very approachable host and was very quick to respond positively when we requested to check in early.

What a little gem this cottage is. The location is fab, and walkable to pubs and the beach. The cottage has a huge enclosed garden with a lovely decked area with seating and a trampoline which the kids loved. There was a lovely welcome hamper upon our arrival which went down a treat with all of us. Jane has thought of everything, the kitchen is really well equipped, logs for the log burner, magazines and games. And stuff for the dog too. Loads to do around the area, so the location is perfect. Don’t hesitate to book this place you won’t regret it!

I was comfortable and felt safe in Ellen's house. Easy street parking. No outside noise nice and peaceful. Everything you need in an Airbnb. Excellent communication from Ellen she couldn't do enough. I'd book again for sure.

Thanks to Sarah for letting us stay. The place is so convenient for the beach and it was such a treat to have a house to retreat back to. Great communication from the host (we needed assistance working the heating). We hope to come back again!

Had a fantastic stay here. A family of 4 (2 teen boys), my brother in law and 2 dogs. Great location - an easy walk into town and very quiet too. The host was super helpful and friendly. The accommodation was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The beds in particular were extremely comfortable - lovely fresh, clean and crisp white linen. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Whitby.

My friend and I with our two dogs felt immediately at home. The house was spotless, smelt amazing and had every amenity we could have hoped for. Jamie was very responsive to any communication, his instructions for entry, wifi, and descriptions of the local area were spot on. We had an amazing week and would be very happy to return. The apartment was very well placed, clean & tidy. Beautiful kitchen & large tv. Felt at home straight away. Whitby was so busy we couldn't use the W parking zone. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay, would definitely use again. Plenty of amenities nearby, breakfast next door is recommended. Brilliant holiday.

It’s a great place to stay and so close to all amenities including public transport. Once inside away from the crowds it was peaceful with a great view of the river

We stayed with Alison and John for goth weekend in April 2025. The apartment is amazing, there was everything you could ever had needed plus a lovely welcome gift too. The heated mirror in the bathroom was a good surprise! The location was perfect for all the happenings at goth weekend. Would definitely stay again if lucky enough to find it empty 🖤

The place was easy to get to and exactly what we needed for some time away. It’s clean and all essentials are provided making self catering easy. The host had even called to make sure that everything was okay with our stay. Would recommend to anyone looking for some time away in Whitby.

Spent a few wonderful nights here while I was in town visiting family and it was the perfect spot. All the shops and restaurants were within walking distance, but the apartment was quiet and removed from all the noise. Waking up to a view of the abbey every morning was just icing on the cake! Paula also was very responsive and easy to get ahold of for any questions. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay. Clean and tidy. Had a problem with the shower waste, spoke to Gary, problem resolved within hours. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
