Welcome to your humble stay on the Humboldt Coast. Wake up to coffee on the porch swing with open views of Redwood National Park and Redwood Creek. Then walk, ride, or drive past the elk herd to old-growth redwoods, or follow the creek to the mighty Pacific with miles of flat beach. Spend more time exploring with the best access to giant redwoods, breathtaking beaches, and phenomenal fishing. Return home to vacation mode with cornhole, foosball, smores and a movie, or a hot tub under the stars!

Blue Lake Sanctuary

Surrounded by pastures, it's a short walk to the Mad River for swims and walks. The Mad River Brewery is less than a mile up the road. Excellent mountain biking is 1 mile away. In a 15 minute drive you can find the hip town of Arcata, surrounded by redwoods and hiking as well as a majestic coastline. Sundays 10 am to noon we host a family friendly ecstatic dance in the studio adjacent to the apartment. Expect music at that time. Come join us! Public Yoga classes are Tuesday & Saturday am.

We are located just a mile from the coastal town of Trinidad with its amazing beaches, pier, and rustic charm, and within a half hour drive of Redwood National Park.

Charming in every way, this ocean view property invites you to spend mornings on the patio, days exploring the plethora of natural amenities that our area offers, and your evenings on our western-facing deck watching the sunset with a wine glass in hand. Welcome to The Wind and Tide where forest meets sea. Our newly remodeled home is situated on three acres of forested cliffside overlooking the Pacific, just north of the seaside village of Trinidad. Tranquility awaits as you take a dip in the hot tub and relax by the fire pit, soaking up the sounds of sea lions, the views of migrating whales, and sunsets and stargazing galore. Tide-pooling, agate hunting, and exploring Sue-Meg State Park is just a short drive down the road.

Secluded, beautifully landscaped 2-plus acre property within a mile of the entrance to the world renowned home of majestic Redwoods at Jedediah Smith National & State Park. Small Cozy studio is connected to the owner’s home but is private with your own entrance. The studio retreat is less than 3 miles to scenic Crescent Beach, Battery Point Lighthouse. Located only 4 miles to downtown Crescent City and harbor where you will find shopping, restaurants, and Ocean World.

The cottage is cozy and comfortable, with handcrafted touches throughout. It is in a beautiful, rural setting with an easy 10-15 minute drive to both downtown Eureka and downtown Arcata. The cottage is on a 4-acre property nestled up against a small redwood grove, allowing for plenty of privacy for guests who are looking for a secluded getaway. Cottage guests are also welcome to make themselves at home on the property and in the garden. The cottage is ideal for 2 people

NO FIRES ALLOWED - anyone who breaks this rule will be fined $300.
