Kirkjuland is a small farm just 10km north of Reykjavik, on Kjalarnes. Located under the beautiful mountain Esja. Peaceful and cozy.. We can host 2 persons at our facility. Fantastic view over the Reykjavik area. We are close to many beautiful places you would want to visit; like Thingvellir national park, Glymur the highest waterfall in Iceland, Húsafell , Krauma, Giljaböð natural bath places, etc. All photos of the northern lights taken in our garden! Outdoor swimming pools very close by.

You will love your stay in our charmingly furnished, cozy little cabin. Uniquely located on a hill between two mountain ranges, close to a lake you can relax with up to 4 people. And all this just 15 minutes by car from Reykjavik. An ideal starting point for day trips to Reykjavík, the south coast of Iceland or for exploring the highlights of the famous "Golden Circle" – including evening relaxation in the luxurious jacuzzi. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. The cabin is close to Hvalfjörður, Hvammsvík Hot springs, Glymur (Iceland's tallest waterfall), Thingvellir (30 min), Golden Circle and Snæfellsnes (170 km). Great opportunity to see the Northern lights if weather allows.
