The Art Barn

Reconnect with nature in the forest oasis and former art studio of South African artist and fashion designer, Harvey Rothchild. Situated on the Garden Route amid rolling farmlands and natural forest, the Art Barn is located a mere 15 minute drive from Knysna and 20 minutes from Buffels Bay. Sagewood Cottage is a very spacious apartment for 2 people. The bedroom has a queen size bed and ensuite bathroom and a large lounge, dining room and kitchen. All the rooms look out onto the forested valley and mountains beyond. There is a pool a short distance from the house and easy walks on the property where one can explore a bit of the forest. Forest Hills is a 15 minute drive away from Knysna and Buffalo Bay and 10 minutes away from the national forest.

The Cabin is ideally located and a 10-15 minute drive to Knysna, as well as the gorgeous Buffalo Bay Beach and a number of forest walks.

Cloud Cottage is located on Voogsekraal estate. The estate stretches along the mountainous and truly breathtaking Prince Alfred Pass. The estate forms part of the Outeniqua Mountains. This means exquisite views, waterfalls and walks.  The cottage is nestled into the hillside, amidst rockery and fynbos. With no neighbouring farms, cell reception, nor electricity, one is able to experience a true getaway.
