The Tree Dome

Nestled under a canopy of trees on an elevated platform, our Tree Dome offers the simple joys of the great outdoors with the benefit of luxurious glamping accommodation. For nature cravers, adventure chasers, peace and quiet seekers, star gazers and memory makers. Set within 45 acres of private secluded woodland with many walks on the doorstep. The setting is in natural woodland. There is very little light pollution which enables guests to enjoy clear starry skies weather permitting.

Sitting proudly upon the hill, Kite commands the lion's share of attentionwith its size and stature. Fully equipped with an air conditioning unit, a wood burner, and well-insulated walls - you'll be cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Inside, you'll find a king size bed, sofa, table and chairs, coffee table, and soft furnishings. Outside you'll find a shed with a fridge and cooker, outdoor seating, and a canvas veranda - all of the little touches that pu the glam into glamping.

Chicken house dome

Cromen Tŷ Cyw Iâr (Chicken house dome). A slated dome is a unique building, this one looks down the Honddu and Usk valleys and you can see for 25 miles from the star window looking South East. I have reused materials as much as possible in its construction. The original henhouse was rebuilt to create the private bathroom alongside and contains a hot shower, w.c. and basin. I have created a special place for visitors to stay with their own private piece of rural Wales to enjoy.

Tucked away in the top corner of the field with a 5m diameter window to gaze down the valley across to the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons from the comfy bed or snuggled up on the sofa in front of the log burning stove or outside on the swing seat. Enjoy our Dark Sky Reserve status with a glass of bubbly in the hot tub or view the stars from bed through the ceiling window - bliss!
