Bed & breakfasts in River Shannon

Our stay with Evelyn was lovely warm and very pleasant. The place is located just by the greenway which was very handy! House has its character and charm and is beautiful. We were looked after all the time but also had our privacy. We would come back here with pleasure.

the value was great for what we got, Susan was absolutely amazing. she was so accommodating and helpful. the place had its own entrance which was great and it even had top sheets which for us Americans not use to no a/c was great.

In einer alten Kirche zu schlafen ist schon etwas besonderes. Das Haus ist mit soviel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, das man sich nur wohlfühlen kann. Ola hat uns ein fantastisches Frühstück bereitet, worauf man sich am zweiten Tag schon wieder gefreut hat. Es ist abgelegen und ruhig, in Mitten der Natur einfach traumhaft. Wenn wir nochmal nach Irland reisen kommen wir bestimmt wieder zu euch. Danke Chris und Ola für die schönen Tage bei euch.

This was a wonderful place to stay to kick off a south to north hike of the Wicklow Way. Kathleen and Bill were incredibly kind and generous hosts. They picked me up from a town 15 minutes away and drove me to the trailhead the next morning. And they provided a free breakfast and a homemade dinner at a very reasonable price. Lovely, cozy stay.

Olive greeted us at the door, the home and gardens were beautiful in a quiet cul de sac . Olive was very eager and helpful as we were planning our days! Thank you for lovely stay! Cindy and Mark( the comedian)

Michelle and Martin were both great hosts! Very informative about Ireland and giving us little gems to visit on rainy days that ruined our plans. They have also offered us help when we were in need, I can't wait for my next trip to Ireland.

Absolutely recommend Nora’s place. We felt very much at home and Nora went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. It’s a lovely house, just down the road from the sea and great pubs. Nora gave us a lovely breakfast and good tips for the local area.

I had such a lovely stay at Pam’s beautiful countryside shed in County Carlow. The place is cosy, peaceful, and full of charm - the perfect spot to unwind and feel connected to nature. Pam was such a kind and thoughtful host, always making sure I felt comfortable and welcome. Communication was easy and responsive from the very beginning, which I really appreciated. Thank you, Pam!

Linda is an excellent hostess. She and her two very well-behaved dogs welcomed us with great warmth. Linda is a very friendly person, really nice to talk to. Beautiful accommodation, very clean, with refined personal care products and excellent breakfast.

Gabi and Christy were such generous and accommodating hosts for our stay in quaint little Doolin. They were particularly well-connected to local pub music scene, and had great advice about what else to see and do in County Clare. The location is a bit remote, but that made it incredibly quiet and peaceful, with amazing views and lovely gardens. Very easy to find using Google Maps and the postal code. The bed was very comfy, and we had everything we needed. Breakfast was simple but excellent - especially the coffee! We really appreciated having some fridge space to use. We'll definitely be back for more great music and late-night conversation!

Lorraine went above and byond. She was super helpful and friendly, allowing me to leave my bags before check in time. The room was comfortable, quiet and safe, and her house was just a couple of blocks away from Eyre Square in Galway. She made homemade scones for breakfast, too!

Joke and his family welcomed us very well, friendly and with a smile on their faces. The place was very calm, comfortable and peaceful with a beautiful view. The breakfast made us feel at home. Thank you so much

We had a lovely stay at Mary’s house looking out on the fields surrounding her home. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, and Mary was an excellent host. She shared great recommendations of the local area and prepared a tasty breakfast the next morning before we left. We will absolutely be staying at Mary’s again!

Hostess was fantastic when there was an issue with Air B&B NOT having the correct mapping location or directions. We tried for an hour and a half to find the house. Many helpful and friendly locals. When we got there Noreen was SO welcoming to us. She offered her knowledge and resources to locate supper for us. Even going so far as to drive us there. Superb breakfast the following morning.

No words needed 🥰 we felt like we where @ home. Margaret is so friendly and helped us with all during our stay. The house is very clean und the location is perfect. A little outside from Killarney but peaceful and great nature. Thank U Margaret for having 2 wonderful days with you and a part of your family and the dog Susi ♥️

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour chez Valeria. Tout d’abord , elle a été très accueillante . Sa maison est magnifique et notre chambre et salle de bain étaient très confortables et extrêmement propres avec une belle vue sur l’extérieur . Le petit déjeuner était excellent et généreux . Unser Aufenthalt bei Neil war einfach perfekt. Die Unterkunft war genau so, wie wir sie uns vorgestellt hatten – gemütlich, sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Neil ist ein großartiger Gastgeber, bei dem wir uns vom ersten Moment an rundum wohlgefühlt haben. Das Herbert House ist außerdem ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung – ob zum Ring of Kerry, in den Killarney Nationalpark oder zu anderen Highlights der Region. Hätten wir gewusst, wie viel es hier zu entdecken gibt, hätten wir definitiv drei statt nur zwei Nächte gebucht! Killarney und die gesamte Umgebung haben uns mit ihrer Schönheit und Vielfalt wirklich begeistert. Auch unsere sechsjährige Tochter hat sich sehr wohlgefühlt – besonders darüber, dass sie im Garten spielen konnte und dort sogar eine neue Freundin kennengelernt hat. Vielen Dank für diese schöne Zeit !

We lived by Helen for 2 nights she was welcoming, and we were taken well care of only issue is that is quite far to Dingle center. But we hade a car so it was no problem for us

Geraldine bietet ein tolles Frühstück mit großer Auswahl an. Die Zimmer sind groß, gut ausgestattet und werden täglich gereinigt. Die Umgebung hat viel zu bieten und Geraldine ist gerne bereit, Ausflugstipps zu geben. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt.

Kathleen and Tim are the nicest and loveliest people you’ll find. Their home is the cosiest and the surroundings are out of this world. Will stay again when I’m back to visit Ireland. It’s also a great location to stay when you’d like to visit the Wicklow Mountains or other nearby scenes.

Noël et Patricia étaient des hôtes charmants, à l'écoute, et de très bon conseil. Ils ont été accomodants par rapport à notre arrivée tardive, et nous avons passé un superbe séjour. Les petits déjeuners, la compagnie de Lucy et tous les bons conseils pour organiser au mieux nos visites ont été fort appréciés. Nous les recommandons avec grand plaisir !

From the minute we met John he was so helpful. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and everything was ok. He made us feel right at home. Id have no problem staying there again. It is such a beautiful spot you could just sit outside and admire the view. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Juliann’s. The space was very clean and charming. We felt that Juliann went above and beyond, even offering to drop off us off at certain locations, the breakfast was delicious as well (home made scones!!!). The home is just slightly out of town which is exactly what we were looking for, it had amazing views of the country. It was a perfect location between the town and the surrounding nature/tourist areas to explore. The location is very easy to get around with a car, if you don’t have one keep in mind to walk it will be a trek. Recommend this spot 100%
