The Shire House - Blissful Joyful - One Bedroom

The Shire House is grade II listed and dates from 1780. Situated in the heart of Lostwithiel and with the river Fowey just 30 steps away. This is a Georgian townhouse with a walled garden full of sun. Expect lots of character, with contemporary design, and with up to the minute amenities. The minimum stay is usually 3 nights but do contact me if you are only looking for 2 nights as this may be possible. And if you need more than one bedroom we can happily discuss a price for your requirement.

The cottage and barn are very well appointed and comfortable, and decorated to a good standard. Good walks or cycling from the door with great pubs, cafe, Co-Op, and chip shop within a few steps. It is also an ideal location for exploring further afield and for Devon in general due to Hatherleigh’s central location.

The town is nestled on a hill with 360 degree views of the countryside. A great base to explore North Devon’s beaches, rugged Moors and breath-taking countryside.
